Ours first time in this restaurant and was so great that we when back twice, definitely recommend 7 stars if you are in playa dorada is a must trying !

The food in this place is more than amazing, everything we tried was delicious but The Tiradito was my favourite, you have to try it! It was an explosion of flavours in my mouth. It's also very cool seeing the Chef Ruiz preparing the dishes in front of you.

The food was exceptional. We spent our third wedding anniversary eating dinner here. The owner was extremely kind, the wait staff was great. This was not only the best meal we’ve had in the Dominican, but the sushi (specifically the maguro) competed with one of our favorite sushi restaurants back home. If we’re ever in the area again, we would definitely come back.

Absolutely loved this place. Our hotel in playa dorada has great restaurants but after a few days my girlfriend wanted to go off property for something different. This place exceeded my expectations. We were greeted by lovely service and we’re provided drink and food recommendations. We had wonderful food and very tasty beverages. Will be returning and we’re only here for 5 days.

Really really good. The food was so good, the place so clean, the personal service was great. I do highly recommend this place. The chef was so nice and ask for everything we want for our night. I’ll recommend Julissa 100% her attention was great. !

You can really tell a lot of passion goes into making the food, it was amazing. Staff were all very kind and attentive. Super glad we stopped here on the last day of our trip.

Excellent food and service! I highly recommend this place. If you are a Japanese aficionado you will not be disappointed. Also a great selection of wines. Sake is recommended! Best Japanese restaurant in the DR.

The food was great!!!...very tasty sushi!!!...& the environment was very relaxing and lay back. I will definitely go back.

I am blown away by this place! We just happened to stumble across it on our last day and I wish we found it earlier as the food is a 10/10. The lunch menu looks delicious, but the sushi for dinner we had was better than any other i've tried before. We had the Mikasa and Ebi Crunch Roll and we were very very very impressed. Besides the food the service was AMAZING. You can really tell everyone from the owner to the chefs and waitresses really care about your experience and want you to enjoy every second. We will most definitely be back and we highly recommend that you stop by this hidden gem while in Puerto Plata. Special shout-out to the owner who took great care of us!

Food is awesome but come prepared to wait 2-3 hours to finish. The menu is on point, little bit pricey, options we tried were exquisite but we were warned it would take 49 minutes to get the food out BUT it took actually 3 hours to be done. We were 2 eating and drinking and 2 people having drinks only. Only the drinks ( a beer and a gin and tonic) took about 40 minutes to bring to the table. The venue is actually small, about 40 seats when full. The problem seems to be the take out, lots of food coming out of the kitchen for take out, but the clientele was complaining about the time in the diner to get their foods, also ours! My very favorite was the ramen, and the gyozas we also very week executed and flavorful. Would have loved to rates it 5 stars but the service was really extremely disappointing! The gyozas came out before the beer!!! My respect to the chef my complaints to the administration. Also the drinks menu is very limited, no Sapporo available but it was in the menu, also a Steak we came for was not available either.

Was the best Nikkei/Japanese food experience in the Dominican Republic I have ever eat . Great service , the ambiance was beautiful, recommended this place 7 start , or one Michelin star! Really love it 😍

Visited this place for dinner while on vacation! Loved the aesthetic of the restaurant. Had a chance to talk to the owner and understand the backstory of this restaurant. Great service. Probably the best sushi I’ve had outside of Toronto! Definitely recommend. Thank you Roberto for the great night!
