A beautiful and impressive church located in the central square of Puebla. The entrance is free for tourists but there are clearly indicated times when tourists are allowed to visit as this is very much a working church first and foremost. The interior is pretty impressive as are the spites which are said to be the tallest in all of Mexico.

This is an absolutely beautiful cathedral. It’s pretty safe to walk around the zocalo during the day and at night as well. For the best view of the zocalo and the cathedral without breaking the bank look for the McDonald’s that’s across the street from the zocalo, buy a cup of coffee, take the elevator to the second floor and enjoy the beautiful view (the terrace is for McDonald’s customers only).

The truth is a very beautiful church when you go inside, the church is baroque and neoclassical architecture. The interior contains 14 lateral chapels and the main altar, also called Altar of the Kings, where sculptures and paintings with religious themes stand out. Amazing for weddings!

One of the best in Puebla and definitely has to be on list to go visit. Daytime some great photo options, but at night it is amazing. Do both and if possible visit one of the sky bars surrounding.

The Puebla Cathedral is one of the most important churches in Mexico, you have to visit the building and compare with the México City cathedral and be amazed for its own beauty.

The cathedral of Puebla is very nice, it is very entertaining to visit, the mass schedules are good and it is located in the zocalo of Puebla (where you have at hand many restaurants, stores and a nice park).

Puebla Cathedral is a masterpiece of architecture and a true testament to the city's rich heritage! The intricate detailing, stunning façade, and majestic towers create a visually stunning sight. Stepping inside, the grandeur and beauty of the interior leave you in awe. The cathedral's peaceful atmosphere and historical significance make it a must-visit when in Puebla. Highly recommend exploring this majestic landmark!

It’s a really nice cathedral, it’s one of the most well preserved from Mexico that I’ve ever seen. Really clean and well maintained. Definitely worth it if you are in Puebla. A must!

I've come to the outside part of this catedral several times, but this was the first time checking the inside. It is absolutely marvelous ❤️✨ I can say it is one of the most beautiful in Mexico. If you wanna go inside just make sure it is not during mass time, otherwise they won't let you fully get inside.

The interior is filled with architectural edifices, no central isle, large choir occupies the central space, facing the ornate altar, surrounded by chapels with various styles of decoration. Very unique and worths spending some time to look carefully. Alabaster is used in many places, but alas didn't get to go to the crypt to see statues made from the same stone.

Right next to town sqare, this is a huge Cathedral with lovely paintings and figurines of saints. The pipe organ is the centre piece of the church as wih many others in this region.

You must visit the Cathedral to learn about to influence of the Spanish and Catholic Church in Mexican history. In other word, the genocide of the church to the indigenous people.

Pretty but it is another church which near the market and center of town. So I would take advantage of the near by shop.

The most impressive church I’ve ever been to. It’s literally a city inside the church and the details are out of this world. It’s a must see when visiting Puebla.

Pandemic aside, you can still be awestruck at the magnificent Altar of the Kings, side altars, and all the architecture meant to invoke a sense of awe and wonder in the Divine. I am still processing the beauty a week later! The adjacent park, and restaurants make for a delightful and spiritual experience.
