    Sam is an outstanding personal trainer. I needed a trainer again to relearn strength training since I no longer go to the gym and am very conscious of building/maintaining muscle. After two months of working with Sam, I’m in the best shape of my life. He customizes workouts so I’m consistently challenged, not pushed beyond my limits, and meet my fitness goals. He is also very observant of how exercises are performed and will modify them based on how well you’re doing them. Sam is professional and a genuine expert in his field. He is also personable and a great teacher and motivator which is invaluable to someone like me who needs a little extra push. His services are worth the money spent. I’m glad I can work with a PT of his caliber.

    I've been working with Sam for about a month now in preparation for my wedding and been loving every second of it! He not only makes training days fun and challenging, but his in depth knowledge about the body and nutrition is unmatched. He's helped me past my plateau and I'm already feeling stronger, healthier, and more confident. I was nervous about getting a personal trainer, but Sam is friendly, funny, and charismatic, and has never made me feel weird about asking questions. I love that we work out outside instead of in the gym too! If you're looking to get fit and increase your knowledge about your body, look no further! 💪🏼

    If you're looking for a personal trainer, look no further. One word to describe this guy - professional. I was looking for a PT to help train for an upcoming event - and honestly I was scared to get one because of how intense I thought having a PT would get. Getting Sam was great because he is friendly, funny, approachable, and dependable. Sam quickly created a personal fitness and nutrition plan to help drive me to my goal. The workouts have so far been difficult - i'm talking literal sweat down my face but honestly that's exactly what I was looking for. After a couple of sessions I am more than confident that I can meet my goals in a couple of months with him. 5 stars all around for this guy - would highly recommend.

    Ask a fit guy is an online personal trainer and in person trainer whose very knowledgeable and an expert in fitness and meal prep. I was skeptical about the whole online process but right from the start it was very simple and straight to the point. Sam was very tentative to my needs, wants and fitness goals. He continues to keep my workouts fun, exciting and creative, working around my busy day to day schedule. I am getting what I am paying for and that’s a rare thing now a days with businesses.

    I’ve been training with Sam for more than half a year — and Sam is an excellent personal trainer. When I first reached out to Sam about six months into the pandemic, I had added some weight and hit a rut, so I was seeking a personal trainer in an outdoor setting. Sam really took the time to ask me about my fitness and nutrition goals, and tailored a plan to meet those goals. Sam really knows his stuff — every month that I’ve been working out with him, I can see ongoing progress, increasing strength, and making progress to meeting fitness goals, including losing some of that pandemic weight gain. The progress has also helped me gain more confidence that, yes, these goals are achievable! I’m very happy with the progress I’ve made so far. Sam is highly creative at coming up with all sorts of exercises outdoors in which I have continued making progress with my fitness without needing indoor gym equipment. He brings some equipment, like kettlebells and weighted balls, that work just as well outside as they do inside a gym. And honestly, I don’t miss doing those workouts inside a gym. Sam is a great coach — he’s cheerful and optimistic, asks questions and is a good listener, and can assess your goals and offer a realistic game-plan of how to get there. I continue learning something new from him regularly. There have been a number of times where he’ll know how to teach me to target a specific muscle that I haven’t focused on before, or coach me through ways I can increase strength so I can, for instance, do more consecutive pull-ups. He’s incredibly observant, and can offer suggestions to workout technique that can suddenly make the exercises far more effective. In fact, his workouts, for me, have been staggeringly effective. Sam has a bunch of years of experience coaching people on fitness, and the experience shows. He’s a trainer that has changed my life for the better.

    I’ve been working with Sam for 4 years and couldn’t be happier, he really knows what he is talking about. Not only are the workouts great but I’ve gained a whole new attitude about working out. I’ve had some physical limitations and Sam has shown me that I can still reach my goals but will reach them a different way. He is as excited at my progress as I am. Nothing cookie cutter here! He gets me! My workouts with Sam are the best part of my week!

    In my opinion, the best personal trainer in the Bay Area! I “Ask a Fit Guy” to help me lose belly fat and gain muscle and I’m so glad I decided to. I was taken back a little on his prices, but after talking with him he reassured me I was in good hands as he would have full control in programming everything from the meals to the training and everything in between. After the first four weeks my weight stayed the same but I dropped 4% body fat! Muscle gained and fat loss magic! He’s extremely accessible and very personable and a joy to work with. He is my go to guy for all my fitness needs.

    I am having an awesome experience! I was looking for an outdoor personal trainer and came across ask a fit guy, he quickly stood out as a personal trainer I wanted to work with because in our initial conversation he REALLY understood what I was trying to accomplish. He also has a way of explaining science mumbo jumbo in a way I can fully understand and actually take with me when I do workouts on my own. Since working with Sam I am getting stronger and I’m also losing belly fat which was a big deal for me! Another thing that’s refreshing is being able to vary locations with outdoor training, somehow Sam knows every turf field in the Bay Area! We’ve worked in Daly City, South San Francisco and the edge of San Francisco. I’m really happy with the results I’m getting so far, ask a fit guy is DEFINITELY worth the time and money. Thank you Sam!

    I recently had the pleasure of working with a personal trainer who has truly transformed my fitness journey. From the very first session, I was struck by Sam's positive attitude and infectious energy. His enthusiasm and passion for fitness was evident from the get-go, and it was clear that he was dedicated to helping me achieve my goals. One of the things I appreciate most about Sam is his ability to push people to their limits in a way that feels supportive and encouraging, rather than intimidating or overwhelming. He always seemed to know exactly how much to push me, without ever making me feel like I couldn't keep up. Beyond his skills as a trainer, Sam is also just an all-around amazing human being. He always take the time to get to know clients on a personal level, constantly offering words of encouragement and motivation, and celebrating our successes. All in all, I would highly recommend Sam to anyone who is looking to take their fitness journey to the next level.
