Noe Peak

Tourist attraction Scenic spot

👍 🏆Good: uninterrupted 360-degree views of San Francisco, short hike up from the road (2-3 minutes); much less crowded than the Christmas Point tourist trap nearby; aligned with Market St. so you can see all the way into the Bay 👎🏻Bad: very windy, no seating except one rock with a geodetic marker... Nice short hike with phenomenal 360 degree views of the city. The trail has wooden steps that help make the climb easier, though the soil around them has eroded in places.

Great views of the entire city. Walk up here instead of staying down by the parking lot.

Nice viewpoint next to Twin Peak. I recommend, because it doesn't take too long to climb, 5 min max if you are in good shape. It offers a 360 degree view of San Francisco, therefore the city and the suburbs. Stunning. You will also have a graffiti street down the mountain.

Amazing view. You can visit the 3 peaks in one day, if you move quickly to each one of them, it will only take you 15 min.

We go there every time we’re in town, just for the view and both times there weren’t a lot of people to disturb the peace. It’s fair to say that you have to have some serious luck to find a day where the clouds don’t cover everything, but when you do it’s a hike well worth doing.

One of the best spots in the city for scenery, rain or fog.
