Looking for a wine bar with an upscale coffee shop feel? This is your place. Wanted a casual spot to do some work after a course and this fit the bill- although no public WiFi, so used my hotspot. $4 off certain BTG selections before 6pm and a super reasonably priced list of bottles to go. Unique selection of natural wines- I enjoyed a glass indoors- but outdoor seating available too, and then took a recommendation from the owner for a bottle to take home. It’s on a quiet side street in a fun area I hadn’t visited before on previous trips, look forward to exploring more!

6/06/21: Good selection, and nice atmosphere/outdoor sitting. 10/15/21: Another great visit with new and interesting selections to try! I tried Biokult 2020 Naken. Lots of fun!

Such a nice hidden wine bar in the heart of Hayes Valley. Perfect for a date or any type of meet up! Prices have increased and didn’t get a big pour, was a bit disappointed given how much prices for a glass are.

Intimate and lively atmosphere with delicious wines. Hyes is warm, welcoming, and very knowledgeable about the different types of wine. Looking forward to the next visit!

Hidden gem in Hayes Valley! I love this wine bar - Its the perfect place to unwind after a long day or catch up with friends on the weekend. The wine selection is always great, the staff is super knowledgeable/friendly and they have delish snacks! Highly recommend!!

Great wine bar ! Great service ! & for the non-wine drinkers like myself really good beer list. We also had someone in our party who was not drinking and they had us covered with an amazing NA wine.

lovely little spot, no nonese with a ton of ambiance, great wine selection. the music isn't too loud, the seats are comfortable, and the staff is very sweet. great date spot, good booths for groups, and nice bar top to sit at by yourself.

Honestly super disappointing. The lady serving us was actually quite rude, wine by the glass list was mediocre and significantly overpriced for what it is, and then when we go to pay there is an automatic 17% gratuity included. Now I typically tip 20% when there is good service, but this isn’t even table service, we had to go up to order from her, she was rude and unhelpful and then it automatically forces a 17% tip. I’m sorry but a tip is for good service and that is the last thing we experienced

Wine was great. I requested a receipt to sign with gratuity and the person at the bar said receipt for some reason was not offered and drink + tax was charged but my credit card shows a greater amount than just that. Feel misled.

I'm almost afraid to post this in case everyone starts going there, but Ebb and Flow is a fabulous little wine bar. My friend and I always pop over after an event at Davies Symphony hall. Great vibe, great wine. The cheese plates are totally fun with the frilly cheese.

We noticed this wine bar in our way to Hayes St, seeing all the packed restaurants (with lines) we turned back around and decided to see what was on offer and Ebb & Flow. What a lovely, friendly wine bar. We ordered wines based on their staff picks (great option), a cheese board, salami, and tuna. The atmosphere was perfect, I’d recommend it for a date or a pre theatre drink and light food. If we’re back in SF again we would definitely return.
