HUGE fan of this place. As someone who has lives in Israel for a while, it's one of few places that feels like it reflects the sort of little shawarma shops that are all over the place there. Their food is excellent - I really like their take on Shawarma, a single Lamb shawarma is super filling and always delicious. The space is a bit crammed, but there is some good seating outdoors. And I like that it's near Roxie theater and other spots on Valencia and Mission. Definitely recommend for this sort of food.

Cozy place and good food. Although it could taste a little better, the shawarma was slightly bland. But it was huge for one meal. The falafel was tasty and we enjoyed eating it with the sauce. Ordered online, picked up in time. The food was just prepared and warm enough.

Best falafel I've had. My usual order is the vegetable combo and an order of kefta kabob (no picture) . Generous portions so I can usually have two - three meals, if I can control myself. The babba ganoush has that smokey eggplant taste 💗I loved everything. I don't like it when dolmas are oily and mushy, but theirs are not. Everything is fresh! Made my own falafel pita sandwich this time. Usually the pita are cut in pieces, but I got two whole pitas. Look at that beautiful falafel! The staff is always welcome and friendly.

You gotta try this Hot, crispy, and freshly Made falafel - you’ll see them making it like an amazing street food stall in the window and it’s super flavorful, still fluffy inside and the sauces and veggies like diced cucumber and tomato are nice too. The guys here are kind, even gave me a freshly fried falafel to snack on while my order was being made. A real neighborhood gem. The falafel wrap is a great accidentally vegan item and is a perfect bite especially after a couple of drinks or even better at the park for lunch if you want to enjoy a view.

I have walked into this place after hearing how good their food is!! And guess what! It was a hit! The food the people and they even give me free flafle to try! It's the best you would ever come cross!! Even Anthony Bourdain been there!! That's sums it all up!

Small shop but amazing Falafel!!! Long time since I ate very delicious juicy big sandwich! With price of 10$ only. My only comment in not putting napkin. And place is little small if you wan to dine in. Other than that , food is really good!

I used to be a regular but not anymore. There aren’t any familiar faces anymore so maybe management changed. Sadly it’s no good anymore. I waited 30 minutes just to have my order lost somehow - it’s absurd. Quality of food has also decreased dramatically. Soggy vegetables and everything comes extra burnt. Cashier couldn’t navigate her own electronic system and did not understand what I was saying when I wanted to order baklava so I had to point to the baklava and even then she couldn’t find it on their cashier screen.

Very tasty! Helpful people. I got the deluxe falafel wrap and made it spicy. It definitely has a kick to it.

Decent Mediterranean food. I had the chicken shawarma wrap. It was good, but nothing special, and honestly I don't quite understand all the good ratings. The chicken was kind of bland (tasted more like baked than grilled), other ingredients were pretty boring (raw onions and tomatoes instead of grilled, no lettuce). The service was not unfriendly, but seemed a bit reluctant and disinterested. Okay for a quick fix, but with all the other options nearby, I don't see myself coming back any time soon.

Pretty good food and sizeable, reasonably priced portions! The shawarma was good but could use a bit more flavor. And you really can't have too much garlic in this sort of situation so let's go ahead and get some more of that in there. But overall, really enjoyed the generous portion.

My friends and I decided to get lunch from here. The falafel wraps were absolutely delicious and so filling. Truly one of the best I've eaten in America. They also gave us one falafel and sauce each before the meal (on the house). Only issue is that its a little pricey for some basic drinks. My new favorite lunch spot!!

Legendary and iconic. The good vibes and excellent food never ever fails. Been coming here for 30 years. Thank you for good prices, nice service and keeping it 100%.

Can’t believe I haven’t reviewed Truly Mediterranean yet as this place is my go-to for lunch. Mediterranean combo plate is OP and the guys behind the counter hook it up. Baba ganoush has excellent flavor. Super generous portions. Lentil soup is usually ready by noon buy definitely something i look forward to when eating here.

Pros: Food was great. They gave us free samples of the falafel, which is delicious! Cons: 1. Sneaky hidden credit card fees. Was charged 7% credit card fee. When I asked, the cashier showed me this small sticker that wasn't easy to see that said non cash transactions have a 4% fee. Unprominent display and he couldn't explain why I was charged 7% instead of 4%. 2. Paper menu prices are lower than what they charge you at the cashier. 3. My order was given to the wrong customer-they had to ask for it back and give it to me. Get your act together!

very atmospheric place, the food here is delicious, fresh and without food additives. there is not enough place to eat in the restaurant, this place is more suitable for takeaway food 🙂

Best falafel this side of the Mediterranean. Crisp exterior. Flavorful. Excellent hummus.

Today was a surprise, I was looking for a Halal restaurant just to get something to keep me going! I had way more than expected. Falafel are out of this world. Shaeerma was amazing. Hospitality don't even mention. If you don't try it, you gonna miss a lot. Thank you
