Love their new summer drinks with jelly! I got the Matcha Latte one and it’s almost like drinking boba. The vibe inside is great and the location in the Castro is super nice. I liked the music they were playing and all the staff were really nice! I came for an event and had a blast. I also really love their hot foods behind the counter. It pairs so well with the coffee.

Madonna playing in the background and every single person here doing there own thing: reading, writing, talking and yup drinking their delicious coffee as the soak up the sweet coffee smell of the morning and the ambiance of “I’m in San Francisco b…”. I could not have asked for a better start of my days with my boys. Because for any of you that know and follow me, you know for me it’s all about making memories with the people who matter the most and for me, this guys stole my heart since day one and counting BUT enough of the sentimentals and back to coffee darn it!! I had the white chocolate mocha with whip cream and it was delicious!! The boys had cold brews that looked just as yummy and I topped my breakfast with a double toasted almond croissant 🥐 of boy! I’m going to need a good nap after this one or possibly a few more steps in my day 🥰. Either way it was well worth the calories. So if you’re in the mood for a relaxing start to your day, don’t think twice come in, order your coffee, maybe a croissant and #enjoy! I know we did. The only thing that would have made it a 5 were cleaner bathrooms. I’m hopeful they’ll get better ❤️‍🩹 💕✌🏼

2/27/23 Today was a great experience. Ordered my coffee off their app, only to arrive to the store closed. Waited with other customers outside for 15 minutes. Paid for my coffee, scone, but left without any, because, once again, they cannot open on time. Love the coffee, but it would be amazing if they would open on time. At least once a week they open super late, typically after 7am instead of their advertised 5:30am. Get it together. Adding to review. FYI, this location is not reliable for your morning caffeine fix. Once or twice a week this place is incapable of opening on time. Today they will open at 8am. Pathetic and ongoing staffing issues.

Shout out to every person who works here, service is always consistent, which is difficult to find at other coffee shops. It's evident they take pride in their work. Had to report a person disrupting everyone sitting in the front of the space. Due to the sensitive nature and level of mental stability of the distruptive person, the employee handled the situation very well. ***** That said, I want to say to the parent company of Peet's, you need to provide your entire staff with the necessary tools to handle sensitive situations. It's clear you leave them to their own devices. Something to think about. Otherwise, great coffee shop!

Excellent coffee. Only few options to eat but a good stop on your way to and from Castro !

Cashiers are not very friendly and pastries seemed to be a bit stale.

Very good customer service and K-9 acceptance along with the great coffee it has a very nice old style ambience. The wraps are delicious along with the cakes and cookies! The gr8 thing about Peet's is your take home bag of toasted coffee is done at time of order, and is neatly bagged and warm ready for whet you get home and brew the first of many delicious pots of coffee

Picked up a mystery bag from an app called "too good to go" that helps avoid food waste by selling of the fresh foods for cheap at end of day. So I got 5 baked goods (of my choice) from the display case for $5. They have gluten free brownies too. Got those. Also had a mocha that was great. Not to sweet

Friendly baristas; nice atmosphere for working, studying or quietly visiting with a friend; quality coffee; convenient location; reasonable prices; awesome hours (the earliest open in the Castro)

Sadly, the coffee quality has gone down hill so much. It’s not even as good as gas station coffee now. The coffee I got this morning is only lukewarm warm. And it’s very diluted. Bad.

Conveniently located but their quality of a latte has lots of room to improve. The flavor of the beans is nice but somehow the latte feels heavy with lots of milk used.

Nice "do not bother" atmosphere! Plus : outlets to plug in your cel phone or devices !
