Worst spa experience ever. I went into Royal Thai Spa at 685 N Point St at 5:30pm on August 25th. I had made an appointment for red light therapy, which I had a groupon for. When I got there, Tony Li told me “he doesn’t know” and then walked away for 30 minutes. I stood there waiting. When he came back, I showed him my appointment confirmation. He said, “This is a different business. We only offer massages here.” I pointed out that the business had the same name, was at the same address, and that the list of services on the table were the exact same names/prices as online. He said again that it was a different business and they didn’t have red light therapy. I pointed out how on the list of services on the front desk, it says red light therapy. He didn’t care. I am certain it was the right place for all the reasons listed above and because Tony’s picture is on their website.

I had a massage with Tony. overall is good, but his movements are really rude. I hate when your arms, legs and head can be dropped or moved sharp. Be more gentle! I gave 3 stars and really wanted to give you one because they allow staff to enter to the room during your session! Three times I was disturbed during my massage. And it’s NOT ok!!! And the last thing - very loud place! I’ve heard everything what was going on out side my room - talks, giggling and etc. BE quiet, ppl come to relax!

Wintry was wonderful. The massage was great. Excellent pressure, good technique and friendly. She knew I was tighter on one side and made sure to give extra attention to that! I will be back for sure! It's easy to book online too, so that was a wonderful feature!

One of the most thorough massages I’ve had. My masseuse, Nikki, spent a lot of time on the areas I asked to focus on, and regularly checked in on whether the pressure was ok. Thanks so much Nikki!

This was a great swedish therapeutic massage experience. They offer a wide range of massage types worth trying out. Great location as well close to Fisherman's Wharf. Will definitely recommend to anyone in the area.

I’ve been coming here for years after a cross country flight, Ventra and Tony are the best to ask for when booking a hot stone or Thai massage. Ventra’s advice and strength are unmatched. Tony holds the record for best stretching. A courteous and happy wait staff takes care of you from the minute you step into the lounge area. I’d suggest a 90 minute session of deep tissue or Thai but if you aren’t ready for the pressure, ask for the foot massage. If you travel as much as I do, you’ll thank me for this review later!

The masseuse here are amazing. You don’t have to worry about not having enough pressure lol. I only had a 1 hour massage but it was good enough. I felt like I got my moneys worth.

I’ve been traveling for my honeymoon the last 10 days and my neck was not happy with sleeping on pillows that had no support. My 60 minute massage with Anna was amazing. She got out all my knots in my shoulders and neck. It was relieving and relaxing. She was incredibly sweet and made sure I was enjoying my massage. I paid extra for a 15 minute foot reflexology as we had done a lot of walking and it too did not disappoint. I highly recommend Royal Thai as they had many last minute openings and the entire staff was very nice.

I had a 60-mins Thai massage with Rose, and I am brand new. This place is amazing. The person at the front and the masseuse were both so nice and friendly. The place itself if bright and beautiful. And the massage. Oh the massage. I was debating between the straight Thai massage and the deep tissue Thai massage. I went with the regular Thai and that was an amazing choice for me. I asked for “hard” and wow did Rose deliver. She was so strong she could have snapped me like a Twix, but didn’t because she knows what she’s doing. I’ve been chasing a good Thai massage for years and this place is it. I’m so bummed I don’t live in this city to be a regular. Highly recommend.

Decided to come here on the last day of my vacation because it was right across the street from our hotel. Probably the best decision I've made all week!!!! I booked online and the process was fast and efficient. Rose and Sumi were amazing. First off, I absolutely love that your modesty is protected. When an area of your body isn't being massaged, it's under a towel. This made me feel so comfortable. The ambiance was so relaxing. The massage was one of the best I've ever had. I wish I didn't have to leave SF! If you are traveling and need some relaxation - this is the place to go.

An exceptional experience. Ventra is incredibly knowledgeable and able to quickly and effectively work out areas of stiffness and tension. Highly recommend the deep tissue Thai massage.
