I have finally gotten back into in-person yoga and HAUM has been the perfect spot to do this. So far, I've taken classes with 3 different teachers and enjoyed every single one. The classes are challenging enough for advanced practitioners, but approachable for those who are still somewhat new to yoga. I also appreciate that the teachers always incorporate a spiritual component into the class, which isn't always true of studios that focus on yoga as exercise rather than a holistic wellness practice. Will be buying a class pass!

My first yoga class in 7+ years and I LOVED my instructor Kiana and I didn’t feel how should I say it kindly…distracted by other participants! Sometimes the coming together of these two things is a real challenge and that has kept me from attending class. Airy, clean, fresh space and convenient class schedule at a great price. Will recommend and will return.

Yoga classes at Haum have become my happy place to recharge during the week. I love the feeling of close, warm community you get from the moment you step foot into the studio. The instructors guide the class through greatly choreographed movements, and sharing powerful stories, messages and songs which make the experience go far beyond the body. There is no single day that I don’t walk out of class with a clear mind and a weightless body. Highly recommend!

I wholeheartedly recommend Haum Yoga to anyone seeking an exceptional yoga experience. It is a great place where you can nurture your body, expand your mind, and nourish your soul. They create a safe and nurturing environment, allowing individuals of all skill levels to flourish and challenge themselves in a supportive community.

Haum Yoga classes always leave me feeling much better than I arrived. There is a feeling of true community here (not cheesy!). It just feels good. Every teacher I've encountered here is awesome and genuine.

My experience at HAUM was great! As soon as I walked in I was greeted warmly and the space was really calming. I was a little late to the class but the instructor was friendly and helped me find a spot for my mat. The class was a slow flow which was just what I needed because I hadn’t done yoga in a long time. The instructor was awesome and gave modifications for the poses. She was very communicative about transitions and even made me smile a few times by keeping the atmosphere light with jokes. She made me feel at ease and the class was very peaceful. I will definitely be going back!

Nice cozy studio on Stanyan by the the Haight. It was a branch of the Yoga Tree, pre-pandemic. It feels brighter and cleaner. Between the studio on 16th Street in the Mission and this one, I do prefer the 16 Street location. It’s bigger and more spacious. However it’s easier to park here and put my bike right in front, if needed.

I was so excited when HAUM opened the beautiful Mission studio, a long drink of water after a tough pandemic yoga drought. A year later I was double thrilled that HAUM opened a studio on my side of town. Now even more great classes and teachers, lovely to be back at the old Yoga Tree. HAUM is very warm and welcoming and full of heart.

My first visit at this studio was wonderful. I felt welcomed and cared for by the front desk and by the instructor, Nikita. The flows were challenging, the music was peaceful and carefully curated, and the space was beautiful. The calming, introspective guided meditation was a lovely addition to the Slow Flow; other yoga classes I've been to aren't as holistic. Excited to come back!

Love this yoga studio! The plants in the yoga room and the use of music (sometimes live) in the beginning to set the mood is awesome! I also appreciate that they help people connect in the beginning of the class to chat with your neighbor. Danni and Reza are my favorite, it's just very nice to close the week on Friday with a nice yoga and meditation. As added bonus: love seeing a good gender balance in their rooms.

I was visiting San Francisco from Italy on a business trip and the day after my arrival I selected HAUM at Haight Ashbury for a yoga class with Jack for recovering from the intercontinental 14-hours flight. HAUM is a great space, very well kept & clean, good lighting and sound systems, nice ambience, relaxed atmosphere and great vibes inside. Despite I was an occasional participant I felt entirely welcomed from all the very friendly staff including the front desk. I appreciated that the class faces each other with Jack in the middle of the room for all yogis being able to follow him easily. Jack’s Vinyasa flow has a very good balance of static and dynamic positions with challenging moments throughout the session and unwinding at the end. I really enjoyed my experience. HAUM is highly recommend, I will definitely be returning!

Great teachers, community vibe, and wonderful classes. Love how many of the offerings are 75 minute classes, which makes a huge difference! Highly recommend both this studio and the mission studio.

I’ve never felt such peace and calm in a community yoga space before. Every teacher I have experienced shares a unique gift, I look forward to classes every week. Always welcomed with warm smiles, very grateful to have found this studio

I’ve been to a couple classes at HAUM since moving to SF, and will definitely be back! The studio is clean and calming, and the front desk staff is friendly. I’ve taken “community” vinyasa and slow flow classes, and both were fantastic- it’s really nice that they offer a good amount of these less expensive drop-in classes during the week. The vinyasa was approachable for beginners, with more challenging options for those more advanced. The slow flow was SO soothing and restorative. Both instructors were very knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

We were visiting the area and eager to move our bodies after lots of walking and Haum was the perfect choice. We took the Vinyasa with Jack and we both loved the class! Jack is a great instructor- great flow, great cues, great balance between professional and playful. The studio was very welcoming, clean, and the front desk staff was very nice as well. For others who are traveling, there is an affordable parking lot across the street- I'm sure it fills up at times, but there were plenty of spots when we arrived at 9am

A lovely warm, inviting, space to practice yoga. I received a lovely welcome and the class was wonderful. Lots of positive energy and vibes in a thoughtfully designed space. Will definitely be returning for classes and workshops. I have already signed up for the Gratitude Workshop on November 18th.
