As I went to my teacher training back in September of last year in Bali, it had a certain feel to it… going to the Haum Yoga studio brought that feeling back to me. It was magical and amazing! Everyone is so nice, it’s a beautiful studio, and the instructors were amazing.

HAUM is truly my favorite studio in the city, and brought back the importance of taking yoga classes in person for me whenever I can, instead of online. The teachers are all incredible, and the studio in the Mission specifically is a magical place. There are plants everywhere and beautiful views of the city through the many windows. It's rare to find a studio with so much natural light! Also absolutely love the no mirrors in studio - helps you to connect with yourself intimately without so much judgment.

The number of stairs you climb is worth the view, super kind staff, and outstanding teachers you'll encounter at the top. Located in the old YTTP studio, HAUM has done a beautiful job revamping the space — providing a detailed list of accoutrements. From the lighting to the flora to the abundance of yogi tools, the room has everything you need to ramp up, wind down, and be grateful you made it to class.

This yoga studio is so special. It is truly magical at night with all the candles and the views of the city skyline. We absolutely LOVE Jeremy’s class on Wednesday nights at 6:15pm. He is the most talented yoga instructor I’ve ever practiced with — his flows are so thoughtfully designed (with just the right amount of mindfulness + athletic challenge) and his music is amazing! Cannot say enough great things about this studio and Jeremy.

The studio in the Mission is such a beautiful and serene space! The views are great as well. I took Rebecca’s class, and it was excellent. Her flow and energy are on point, and I feel like she adapts to what the class needs. I love that they have the $15 community classes. If driving, you will need to find parking and probably pay for metered parking. There’s a walk up 5 levels of stairs, but they’re not that bad. The area may feel “sketchy” to some people, but I never felt unsafe or had any bad encounters. I highly recommend coming to this studio!

The studio is beautiful and outlooks the city with huge windows that make for a really nice backdrop, especially in the evening. Facilities are clean. Instructors are friendly and knowledgeable. The Mission location is a bit hard to find as it’s in a very unassuming building, and it’s a fifth floor walk up! I would also say the classes aren’t very intense if that’s what you’re looking for. Overall, definitely worth the price and a great find on Classpass!

Haum Yoga is pure magic! As soon as I walked into the studio, I immediately felt a sense of peace and LOVE. I went to Yvonne's and Janet Stone's classes this week. Both were AMAZING. I am so grateful for this beautiful studio.

One of, if not THE most beautiful studio I have ever seen. The warm wood tones comboed with the greenery and amazing views of the city made for the perfect yogi experience. My class was lead by Caitlyn who did an amazing job keeping everyone engaged offering variations for most of our movements to appease the range of skill levels in the room. She ended our 90 minute session with a 20 minute sound bath that soothed the soul after a challenging yoga class and I left my body and soul feeling recharged and refreshed. The only thing that is going to take some getting use to is the use of a microphone during a yoga class. Was a bit loud for me at first, but acclimated quickly. Would highly recommend and will definitely be going back!

Beautiful studio with great teachers. I live nearby and had no idea there was this luxurious yet simple comfortable space just steps away from my apartment. The decor is cozy and simple and I love the diffusers they use for a very faint and pleasant scent. It is large enough to not feel cramped even when it is a busy class. I will definitely go back.

I came for Sunday night Flow + Restore with Rachel and OMG. First off this space feels like HOME. There was soft music playing, ambient lighting, the views of the city were foggy. As the class progressed the sun was setting and the mood felt around the room was so peaceful and relaxing. Rachel has the softest voice and was very welcoming when we came in. Her music was angelic. I cannot recommend HAUM enough.

This was my first time visiting a HAUM studio and I had a great experience - and what an amazing view! The staff was very welcoming and helpful for my first visit. Rebecca's class was just what I needed that day for a nice flow. About one week after the class the HAUM team called me up to inquire about my experience overall, which was a nice surprise. I really appreciate the community building aspect of this studio and I will certainly return.

Beautiful studio full of plants and large windows with great lighting! I attended Yvonne's class for the first time (and was my first time at the studio too). I liked that the class was focused on mindfulness and was slower pace. The class that day didn't have any music and the heat was off which I very much prefer!

I've been to HAUM a few times now, and it is always an incredible experience. In the heart of the Mission, this space is not only perfectly situated next to the BART, but it's airy, spacious, and just aesthetically perfect. The classes I've taken have always left me feeling warm, loose and much calmer than other yoga classes. You will get a solid stretch as well as sweat going in the more flow-based classes. Could not recommend HAUM more highly! Looking forward to my next class :)

I've had such a great experience at Haum and wanted to pass it along. I was really sad that all the yoga studios in SF closed during the pandemic. After three years I finally searched for a proper yoga studio (not Core Fitness or whatever it's called!!) and discovered that the Yoga Tree folks had opened this place in the old Yoga for the People space at 16th and Mission. I'm so grateful. It is the same beautiful space, with wood floor and ceiling and incredible light, but now with gorgeous queer-friendly oil paintings on all the walls, a completely reasonable price ($15 in San Francisco!), friendly and helpful teachers. It feels way more inclusive, and I look forward to it every week. Thank you for re-opening. Your community - even the mostly invisible part-timers like me - really missed you.

Really enjoyed my recent session here - I’d been to this studio some time ago when it was YTTP, and I’m so glad it’s still a place we can gather to practice yoga! Lovely vibes inside, kind staff. Thank you 🙏🏽
