This modern art installation/sculpture makes the Jazz Mural behind it comes to live. It is one of the less know secrets of SF right on the border between Chinatown and North Beach (aka Little Italy).

Language of the Birds is an interesting public art piece on Columbus Ave. It is illuminated at night, but I actually prefer it during the day highlighted against a bright blue sky. It can be visited 24 hours but be aware that there are a lot of sex clubs nearby that attract interesting people at night time. #LetsGuide

I like it when the art is created around the neighborhood. And by this I mean that the used books in a sense that they are birds in flight. But I feel like it is also a nod to City Lights bookstore. The fact that this has been here for a long time but it also shows that it's been well-maintained and kept up.

Cool Street art that is worth checking out especially at night when it lights up.

Language of the Birds is a public attraction available 24/7, but it's better to see it at night. Located on the corner of Broadway/Columbus Ave, it's basically string light with book shape transparent housing. Intermittent flashing light illuminate the corner stopping tourist in their tracks. That's about it for Language of the Birds.

Service and staff was good but the pizza was just ok. Not worth spending 47$ for a 14” , 2 soda cans and a 3$ over the counter cake.

Art installation on telegraph hill. At first I didn’t know what it was when we passed by during the day and then saw it again at night.
