Very professional staff: respectful, knowledgable, compassionate, instructional, welcoming. I love the feeling of the studio: bright, clean, organized, spacious. The location of the studio is excellent and is situated so that I can walk, ride my bike or take public transit. I only attend in-studio classes and I am SO happy that they are available and hope that, as time goes on, more in-studio classes are offered throughout the day. This place has been a haven of sorts to me and I tell everyone I know to check it out. Thank you for creating a terrific venue for your students.

Yoga practice is an essential part of my life for 35 years, 20 of them with the Iyengar method that I find so detailed, effective and safe. The Iyengar institute in San Francisco is run by professional, competent and skillful teachers that are dedicated to a wonderful community of students. Now that it is possible to have classes in person I appreciate even more the energy group and the beautiful space available. Wow! What a terrific group of teachers. This is the best Iyengar yoga studio in the Bay Area. All the teachers are true professionals, they start class on time, give correct adjustments and accept all levels and conditions of students in their classes. There are different levels of teachers and they are all skilled and highly compassionate. I've taken on zoom only through the pandemic and the workshops--highly recommended. Throughout the pandemic, IYISF have pivoted to create a variety of positive teaching environments for students. They understand that the role of a teacher is just that to guide students through difficult times both personally and collectively. As a cancer survivor, the classes have been so helpful and the teachers so caring. I strongly support IYISF as they bring so much to the broader community.
