June 2023: I was happy to hear that the old owners of the Chinese restaurant on Geary and Parker opened up a new place near my home. The menu was more limited than the old restaurant. We ordered a fried rice, Mongolian beef, fish with tofu and an "ung choy". Everything was okay but tasty. There were some areas that can use improvement. I was disappointed in the fish because the item was described as "steamed Chilean sea bass with tofu in black bean sauce". When the dish came out, there was only a little bit of fish on a large bed of tofu. The way the menu described the dish, I was expecting the fish to be the "feature" item. For the price ($28), I was expecting a large fillet of sea bass with some small amount of tofu. At other restaurants, this dish would have been described as a "steamed tofu topped with sea bass in black bean sauce". The first ingredient is supposed to be the main ingredient! So I found the dish description to be somewhat misleading. Tables and chairs were a bit uncomfortable. My wife, who is 5'4", was unable to sit close to the table properly because there was a table leg and crossbar that prevented her from scooting in. I would not have expected this at a restaurant of this price point. Service was inconsistent. We asked for two bowls of rice 🍚 but never got it. Place is small. Layout is challenging. Would I come back? Since I have had many years of great food at their old place, I would try it again. I hope they make some improvements... Especially on the menu description of the fish.

Ordered off of the dim sum menu (tapas menu). Had the salt and pepper softshell crab, shrimp dumplings, Shanghai pork dumplings (soup dumplings), spicy shrimp dumplings off of the special menu, and barbecue pork buns. And for desserts we had the black sesame balls. Must haves are the softshell crab and shrimp dumplings amazing flavor and not over salted. If you're looking for dim sum, this place is definitely worth the visit.

Took my extended family here. They really enjoyed the food, but had sticker shock. Chinese food shouldn’t be synonymous with cheap - the food and service quality here are anything but that. However, Chinese food are usually delicious and “cheap”. The salt and pepper pork ribs was $25 and only came with 4pc. Absolutely delicious though! Highly recommend their salted egg yolk soft shelled crab and crispy stuffed whole chicken with sticky rice (preorder only). The stuffed chicken was definitely a new experience. It doesn’t come with any chicken meat though. I was hoping for some but it was all sticky rice inside. We stayed near closing so we were able to meet the owner. She's pretty nice and made conversation with us!

Wish we found out about this location sooner! So convenient for soma people :) what a joy to have authentic dimsum footsteps away. Really small and cozy place but the tables are well spaced! Every dish is solid, nothing creative/trendy, just ur good old classic dimsum and it shows that they’ve been around for ages. We rly enjoyed the baked bbq buns, the shrimps in the changfens and shrimp and chive dumplings were super fresh. Veggie dumplings were good too. Only thing might be that the shrimp changfen sauce was not salty enough. Mango pudding was refreshing and not too sweet! Would def become a regular here!

We came here for dim sum once and dinner another time. It’s a small restaurant, so be sure to reserve a spot online. Dim sum is an astounding five stars. Everything comes out hot and fresh. This place has our favorite dim sum in the city (it is quite pricey though). Their ham siu gock, pea shoots, and egg tarts were great. We would rate dinner 3 stars. We would NOT recommend the Peking duck as it was not traditionally made (it had bones in it). We also ordered a sweet and sour pork which was a small portion and quite average.

Pretty much the best dim sum in the bay area. Tiny, but worth it. Parking is usually annoying, so avoid if possible or take your time if you have to.

One of the best Cantonese / Southern Chinese cuisine spot in the city! Both their dim sum brunch and dinner service are outstanding~ I love trying new items everywhere I go, but here: I always fail by ordering the lettuce cups with chicken stir fried pine nuts and basil !! That shows how good it is. Portion sizes are also perfect for family style meals, with a few delicacies such as the Chilean Sea Bass served smaller in size as a welcoming prompt for us to slow down and savour the dish. Wine selection is sadly limited, but tea is the way to go anyway. Everything was so good we forgot to take pictures, but I did get one for the durian puffs which came out piping hot - BEWARE the deliciousness

Loved the experience and food! Ordered the shrimp roll ( super fresh, huge shrimps, and the right amount of sauce), onion pancake( not greasy at all), and the soup dumplings ( watch out for the soup ;) super juicy and addicting) would go back again! I forgot that I had ordered the layered cake ...It's was the best layer cake I have ever had, very well made !!!
