Great first impressions. Looks great inside. To be fair, I had a lovely latte coffee, in a French style bowl with no handle. Unfortunately I then ordered some breakfast. Scrambled eggs with sausages, swap the potatoes for English muffin was by preferred choice (as per the menu options actually). Well I got all four things. Eggs were really an omelette, but soft and pleasant. Sausages weirdly half skinless and very fatty, tasty but cheap tat, potatoes old and stale re-heated from old cooked stock, and the English muffin served with no butter, but oddly sort of deep fried!!?!???? This was not a pleasant experience, and they wanted $32 for it, and suggested tips starting at 18% on top. I'm afraid they are living on another planet. Dream on.

This is a nice French restaurant, situated at the corner right by the China Town of SanFrancisco. The ambience of the entire place is exactly like ones in paris, especially the fact that the owner himself, the grey-haired gentleman, dressed in French chic style, and greeted customers. Food-wise, it's authentic French cuisine, I ordered Croque Minsieur sandwich, 🥪, which is grilled French ham with cheese melted on top of the toast, the chemistry of these 3 things was just fantastic!!! Also ordered their Onion Soup Gratine, the caramelised onion 🧅 with Emmenthal cheese, perfect!

Ate here with a group of four with three of us all having croissant sandwiches and the fourth had the French toast. We also ordered a chocolate croissant that we intended to take and eat later but it ended up disappearing first and was really quite good! Our sandwiches were pretty good, definitely not a sandwich we could easily pick up and eat and all opted to use forks and knives to eat them. Sausage was mixed in with the eggs and was basically cut up sausage links like what you might heat and serve at home. These were served with breakfast potatoes that were good although plain. The French toast was very good served with warm blueberries and syrup. I also had a latte served in a mug without a handle (or was it a bowl). We sat a few minutes before 11 AM which is when breakfast ended and were were glad to still be able to order breakfast food.

Excellent place for a casual drop in, or by arrangement, whether that's for breakfast, brunch, lunch, a cocktail or dinner. Cannot fault the service at all.. at the bar or restaurant. Friendly, personable, and efficient. Food is really good.. especially the steak & frites. Reasonably priced too, considering it's proximity to Union Square.

Had a delicious brunch at this place on Sunday. I ordered the French onion soup and duck confit and both were very tasty. The server was also very attentive and well versed with the menu

Delicious food, friendly staff, and lovely French-style cafe. Eggs Benedict never disappoint! Indoor and outdoor sidewalk seating make it a nice place to stop and eat if youd like a true cafe feel. Decent coffee too! Always a bonus. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a tasty breakfast to start off your day!
