Unfortunately experienced two employees making fun of a nice customer as soon as he left the shop today. For a place that curates items promoting thoughtful living and inclusivity, they don't seem to walk the walk. My friend and I both had pieces we wanted to buy but felt so uncomfortable hearing their comments that we left. I'm a long time supporter of the store but this really soured my experience.

Lovely selection of books, magazines, t shirts, art and just miscellaneous gift ideas - often fun or with an interesting edge. Entertaining shop to browse, and you never know what you might take away with you.

Might be my favorite retail shop in SF. Art, books about art, amusing t-shirts, odd knick-knacks. All good stuff. I've been going for as long as I've lived in the city and hope they never close :)

A one of a kind place in the Richmond District, with interesting design books, posters, t-shirts and gifts. It also includes Art Gallery. There is no obvious theme for the store, other than it gathers unique art and design items from all over the world. It opens your mind to the unfamiliar.

Support this wonderful neighborhood shop, full of whimsical, quirky and always fun handmade cards, artwork, gifts, hair clips, books, and so much more! The owners/store managers are really great, and they opened another location across the street, which has more cards and stationery than the original location. We've bought a number of super pop art pieces and cards here. A gem of a place in the Inner Richmond (and close to Arsicault if you like French pastries).

Very happy to have fun art in this part of town. Love the gallery at the back, the high quality art prints, art and design books, and interesting objects like those found in museum gift shops. It's a treat to stop by after grabbing coffee or a snack nearby.

More than just a great shop for art, gifts, books, and special San Francisco goods, Park Life is a community anchor. The shop includes a gallery in the back featuring local artists. Super fun to browse anytime, and always a great place for a birthday gift. Highly recommend.
