I am one of those people that has a hard time getting their hair cut. I often feel unheard by my stylist when I try someone new. Chri was so patient and kind with me. She made me feel completely at ease. I tend to like a classic cut. She gave me exactly what I wanted and made recommendations for things I’d like to try with her in the future. My hair is the type that shows where it’s cut and she knew exactly how to blend her work. The salon itself is light and airy, a truly relaxing environment. The staff was lovely. It’s the best feeling to love your hair after a visit to the stylist and I love my hair.

In this 4 yrs and a half that I have been moved to Bay area, I've tried many hair salons. I'm a critics researcher client and never can stay with a stylist who doesn't have high expectations. Jade is the one I've found in Edo. My friend suggested Edo to me and I checked all the stylists Instagram then choose Jade. Her standards are high and she enjoys her career. The neighborhood is so nice and easy access with Muni. I pay the price of the quality of their work and I'm really happy with my curley hair. You can choose your suitable stylist with checking their Instagram that you'll be able to find it on their website.

Clean, bright, stylish environment. All staff very friendly. Rhoda is absolutely amazing! I normally do the same thing to my hair - she helped me confidently choose a new style and did a fantastic job! Looking forward to my next cut!

I’ve been going to Edo for 1.5 years now and love the razor cuts I’ve been getting from Kat. I had a really good experience with her for my first cut, which was long and layered, so I went back to her when I decided to change it up with a bob and bangs. Kat has a warm positive energy and is really great to work with. She takes the time to ask questions and listen to what you’re looking for. The last time I had shorter hair/bangs was over 15 years ago so the open communication helped me feel more confident knowing we were both on the same page. I’ve gotten compliments on my hair from both friends and strangers. The salon itself is a lovely space and I love the products they use. Would highly recommend!

Ellie gave me THE BEST short hair cut I’ve ever had. She listened to what I wanted, to give me a cut that I could feel good about as I grew it out. I don’t like myself with short hair. It was an impossible challenge. I walked out of her chair feeling like a new person that I could care about. Amazing service.

I’m so happy I found Edo in Oakland. I’ve been struggling to find a new hair stylist after mine retired during the pandemic. I love how Emily cuts my hair. Her energy is extraordinarily relaxing and friendly!

Katy Rose is a magical person. She provided me with beautiful beachy foliage highlights with cute sweeping curtain bands cut with long shaggy layers. Been feelin' like a Rockstar since going to her!
