This was such a fun evening! I took my 8 year old for a special mother son date and it did not disappoint. The whole experience, from the really cool Moroccan themed venue to the service, the food/drinks and of course, the MAGIC, was amazing. Jay is a really nice, personable guy and I am still stumped as to how he did these mystifying magic tricks. They encourage you to chat with other guests in the lounge before the show, so by the time you enter the theater, you feel like one big group. The audience participated the whole show and it was very interactive. I loved hearing about Jay’s childhood and how he overcame shyness and a speech impediment to become the entertainer he is today. A great message about following your passion! I highly recommend this show for a fun night out in SF!

We came for the 6:30pm Friday night show and had an incredible time. Jay Alexander is welcoming, funny, patient with guests, and puts on a very entertaining production. He greeted us the moment we walked in and seated us in the cozy lounge just outside the theater doors. Get there early so you don't miss the pre-show close-up magic — even watching his every move up close, even with a deck of cards sitting IN MY HANDS, even paying close attention as he moved to different tables, he managed to leave us amazed and in delightful wonder. Jay continued to impress us with the rest of the show, so if you're looking for a fun evening in SF and the opportunity to feel a sense of childlike wonder again, my partner and I definitely recommend this show! The food was okay, but you don't go to a magic show for the food anyway! The walk from Powell BART is easy and there are plenty of options in the area to eat a full meal before or after the show.

What a fantastic night with my family (our boys are 8 and 11)/ Jay is a world class act - we have no idea how he pulled off the tricks did! He had me, my wife and my 11 year old up on stage during the evening which was unusual and really speaks to how small the audience is, and how involved you become in the show. The venue is very intimate and the Moroccan food beforehand was delicious in the lounge. We can’t stop talking about how impressed we were with the whole experience and plan to go again to take some out of town family members when they visit. 100% recommend.

My family and I recently had the pleasure of attending Jay Alexander's magic show at the Marrakesh Theatre in San Francisco. We were all blown away by his incredible skills and his ability to connect with the audience. The show started with Jay performing some amazing close-up magic at our tables. My son was excited when he got to write his name on a playing card that was a part of a card trick. We got to bring the card home as a souvenir. After close-up magic and drinks in the lounge, Jay took the stage for his main show. He performed a variety of tricks including reading minds, fun math tricks, and one with a rubix cube. Our Several members of the small audience members were called up on stage to have their minds read, which made the show even more interactive. Our two boys, who are 10 and 11 years old, were particularly excited to participate in the show. They both got to go up on stage and help Jay with some of his tricks. Jay is a truly talented magician, and he has a gift for connecting with his audience. He is funny, charming, and he always makes sure that everyone in the audience is having a good time. We left feeling inspired by his story. I highly recommend his show to anyone looking for a fun and entertaining evening. Here are some of the things that made the show so special: - Jay's incredible skills as a magician. Such a great show! Jay is a fabulous entertainer & his magic will blow your mind! It’s an intimate venue so everyone feels very much apart of the show. Go early when the doors first open to enjoy the Lounge, drinks & light food, as well as pre-show tricks by Jay. I’ll say it again, he really will blow your mind!

Super awesome show… heartfelt and wonderfully delivered, my eight year old said “it was great because he did cool tricks and was really nice” - in a time of cookie cutter everything, this show is unique and individual and I recommend 1000%. So fun!

What a magical way to celebrate my Birthday! This was one of the best Magic shows my husband & I have seen! Jay Alexander has an incredible gift, that will leave you amazed! I guarantee it’s a night your friends/family will never forget! I would love to see him again & bring a group with me! Lots of laughs along with an intimate personal experience! Did you know there's a Magic Theater in S. F. ? I'm pleased to inform you, there is a Magic Theater in The city! Don't delay go see Jay Alexander at the Marrakech Magic Theater. Take the entire family. I went on Saturday November 4th with my friends and we are women over 40 and 50. Mind blowing! I have to go again. We had so much fun! I felt like a kid again!! And there were kids there too! Jay is so personable, we're friends now! We're on a first name basis by the way. This is a gem tucked away in our backyard. Now you know, so go! !
