The Box was a beautiful atmosphere to host our intimate wedding with 60 guests. The venue itself needs very little as it is already a warm/inviting space. The venue coordinator, Melanie, was an absolute dream to work with. She promptly answered questions, facilitated walk throughs, and coordinated with our vendors seamlessly. Guests quickly fell in love with the romantic space.

The shop is beautiful and full of fascinating little and not so little antiques. I feel like I could spend hours going through all the small things with the curiosity and imagination of the child inside me. Mark, the owner, has a passion for the place that elevates the experience of being inside there. The Box SF lives and breathes stories from many pasts, and I absolutely recommend going there.

I visited The Box SF for my class and it was wonderful. I got to hear from the owner, Mark, about his design experience and career as well as how he made The Box happen which was super interesting! The abundance of items was amazing, I stayed a while after the field trip was over just to take the time to look at everything. I ended up getting many postcards and valentines cards which were perfect for creating a collage. I also saw the biggest matchbox collection I have ever seen, which was super exciting as I collect them. I would highly recommend visiting The Box, it was a great experience!

Contact them and pay for the tour. This building is utterly amazing. If you are a Art Major, graphic designer, or in the printing business, this location is a must stop. Everything in the store is for sale. It is a museum and a wonder of information and memories. Mark is an incredible wealth of passionate knowledge, and Melanie is adorable in her period dress.

This week I had the pleasure of visiting The Box SF for my class, and it has left a lasting impression on me. I had the privilege of talking to the owner of the venue about his design process in creating a vintage atmosphere. Our class also had the opportunity to experience the event space which had ambience lighting. The soft glow of the lights added a sense of warm and inviting atmosphere. The play between the metal tables and the wooden beams was artfully designed which further enhanced the aesthetic of the space. I highly recommend The Box SF for those seeking to embrace the beauty of a vintage space.

I really enjoyed going to The Box SF. I got to know a lot about the owner of the place and I really liked all of the antique belongings. I purchased things that made me feel happy, and I know that I will always remember purchasing them!

What a cool place! An unbelievable collection of ephemera, odds and ends antiquities, and just really neat and interesting stuff! We were told that there are about 15 million pieces here, and I believe it. Priced to sell, it is a collector's dream come true! We didn't check out the event space, but I have no doubt that it is awesome as well.
