We saw Golden Bell perform at a wedding in Calistoga and immediately knew we HAD to have them for our own wedding in Lake Tahoe! They were an absolute HIT with our guests! Our meetings leading up to the wedding were very informative and Chris has such a calming presence throughout the planning process. Wedding day was seamless, Golden Bell took care of microphones for us and our officiant and the sound quality for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and the reception was perfect. Once the reception dancing started, Golden Bell read the crowd so well - playing a variety to please all age groups and coming down into the crowd with the saxophone and trombone! The drummer was amazing too! Such a talented group! All the pros of a DJ and a live band combined into one super fun group. 10/10 would recommend.

GoldenBell is such a brilliant concept and Chris Paxton and his team were the highlight of our wedding! Chris did an amazing job MC’ing the night and was so fun and easy to work with in the weeks leading up to the wedding. The team brought incredible energy to the dance floor and kept it going all night. There were a few times during the set where we applauded because the transitions between songs were so smooth and original. We were so lucky to have these three talented musicians play for our friends and family! Chris even sent us a video of our nearest and dearest closing out the dance floor to one of our favorite songs. GoldenBell really goes the extra mile to make your party unique, fun, and memorable. 15/10 would recommend.

Golden Bell was the heart of our wedding. The dance floor was packed, the entire night! Nico was a phenomenal MC and DJ but we also contracted drums and a two horns. Holy cow, this was the best decision we made throughout the entire wedding planning process. Every guest had something wonderful to say about them and our planners/ venue were thrilled with their professionalism. If they are in your city RUN and book them. It’s the best of both worlds getting a phenomenal DJ and live talented instrumentals. We loved them!!!

Amazing music for our wedding! We were so excited to work with the Golden Bell team and they DELIVERED. The entire process with them was seamless. Our contact, Jonathan, was so prompt, organized, laid back, and easy to work with leading up to the wedding and on the day-of. They brought SUCH a VIBE to the night and truly made our wedding incredible! Highly recommend. :)

GOLDEN BELL WAS AMAZING!! Marlon Aldana and Chris Hoog were incredible musicians and DJs keeping the party going! They timed the intergenerational music perfectly to get all our family on the dance floor early on and for several hours, and then as the night went on pulled from more contemporary music. One of our friends came up to us, and said "I hope you're paying these guys A LOT, they are doing an AMAZING JOB." After the party in the following week, so many people came up to us to tell us how fun the dance party was, which was completely made possible by Marlon & Chris. The. Best. Ever. Three months later, and we’re still dreaming about Golden Bell and their performance at our wedding. They executed our vision perfectly. I couldn’t have dreamt a better night. They kept the dance floor packed throughout the night. Wishing I could relive it everyday! Thank you, Golden Bell (Nico), for giving us everything we’ve ever wanted and entertaining our favorite people all night long.

We absolutely loved Golden Bell! They were so professional, fun, helpful and talented. All the guests loved them too, and were out dancing, including guests who say they never dance. The DJ mixing was top notch, and add the live instruments on top *chefs kiss*. The trio was amazing and blew everyone away. The band even came out onto the dance floor a few times, which was unexpected and awesome! We had concerns about noise ordinances so had the option to have a silent disco, which was really helpful. We just wished the trio could have played for longer since they were so great, but that was no fault to the Golden Bell, just a matter of dealing with noise restrictions. Lis also helped to play a song during the speech by the best men, that really took the speech to the next level. They helped us with lighting as well, to really set the party mood in the tent. Through and through, Golden Bell was the best! Now we just want to see them play again!

Our DJ Nico, saxophonist Jonathan and the Golden Bell team absolutely crushed it!! Music was a top priority for us and we were so stoked to hire Golden Bell because we'd seen them perform at other weddings in Colorado and California. They exceeded expectations and made the day an absolute party! The dance floor was electric all night and they played absolute bangers that made you feel like you were at a concert. 10/10 RECOMMEND YOU HIRE THEM!
