I had the most amazing dining experience at Thai Nghiep My Gia in Sunset San Francisco. As a fan of authentic Chinese cuisine, I was overjoyed to find a place that specializes in mouthwatering duck noodle and wonton dishes. The combination of flavors and textures was a true delight for my taste buds. The duck noodle dish was an absolute standout. The tender duck meat, perfectly cooked noodles, and fragrant broth created a symphony of flavors that I can still taste in my memory. It's evident that the chefs pay great attention to detail and use high-quality ingredients to craft their dishes. The wontons were equally impressive. Each bite was a burst of savory goodness, with the delicate wrapping and savory filling showcasing the mastery of Chinese culinary techniques. It's rare to find such authentic and flavorful wontons outside of traditional Chinese enclaves, and Thai Nghiep My Gia exceeded my expectations. The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, providing a comfortable backdrop for a satisfying meal. The staff was attentive and friendly, eager to make sure every diner's experience was exceptional. If you're a fan of Chinese-style duck noodle and wonton dishes, Thai Nghiep My Gia is an absolute must-visit. The dedication to authentic flavors and the impeccable execution of each dish make it a hidden gem in the Sunset neighborhood. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to savor these delectable dishes again!

Braised duck leg with egg noodles is soo good, family style restaurant. Complementary soy milk is great. Warm service. Price is at point.

Great place for noodles! The atmosphere is borderline a hole in the wall, mom & pops place. Service was super friendly. Only been here once but was very happy with the food. Had #9, braised duck leg with wonton and egg noodle. Definitely hit the spot! Would come back.

I’ve driven by this place countless number of times and finally a friend suggested lunch here. Sure why not! Walked in and almost all the tables were taken so that told me the restaurant was a good choice! I ordered the Vietnamese ice coffee and the seafood soup with mixed noodles. My pal had sliced beef. Tasty and flavorful and not super thirsty afterwards! 😬🤭😉

Wide selection of Chinese-Vietnamese noodle soups, with egg noodle options. Broth a bit simple, not as well-spiced and umami flavored as pho. Customize with black pepper, black vinegar, jalapeño vinegar, chili oil, hoisin, and soy sauce. No limes, but sriracha available. Tasty egg rolls, similar to lumpia.

Saturday 11/18/23 Lunch at Thai Nghiep Ky Mi Gia in San Francisco with my cousin, his daughter and father (my niece and uncle). Enjoying some San Francisco’s style noodles soup. The braised duck legs were so tender that it fell out the bones, melted in my mouth, and slid into my tummy. The service staff is super nice and attentive and provided us with VIP service. The restaurant’s decor is of a traditional noodle house. Very packed on the weekends which speak about the quality of their noodles soup and word of mouth business. I recommend trying this restaurant for travelers like me. The locals already knows that is gooooooood!!! David Young Restaurant Enthusiast

Hole in the wall noodle house in the Sunset district. Had the duck leg with wonton noodles. Pretty good lunch option.
