A
place
you
can
afford
to
eat
in
San
Francisco!
TL:DR
This
small,
locally
run
shop
has
great
homemade
pastries,
donuts,
etc.
and
they
make
a
delicious
breakfast
sandwich
for
about
$8
(as
of
September
of
2023).
If
you
are
looking
for
a
price
break
from
the
fancy
San
Francisco
fare,
check
this
out
for
breakfast.
Details:
Be
warned,
this
is
on
the
edge
of
what
was
referred
to
by
some
locals
as
the
"tender-fringe".
Right
outside
of
the
Tenderloin
district,
which
we
were
repeatedly
warned
to
avoid
completely.
If
you
are
walking
here,
don't
continue
on
past
this
spot.
There
were
no
concerns
in
the
immediate
area,
but
continuing
toward
Tenderloin
is
not
advisable.
They
had
a
buttermilk
donut
which
was
huge
and
amazing!
Definitely
try
it!
The
breakfast
sandwich
here
was
nothing
special,
no
exorbitant
spices
or
fancy
cheeses,
just
fresh
cooked
egg,
cheese,
and
meat.
And
it's
great!
The
women
running
the
shop
were
very
friendly,
and
patient
as
I
decided
what
I
wanted.
It
was
so
nice
to
have
an
affordable
breakfast
spot
close
to
our
hotel.
They
are
CASH
ONLY
as
many
of
the
local
places
are,
but
they
do
have
an
ATM
in
store.
Take
a
break
from
the
overpriced
tourist
spots
and
grab
a
breakfast
bite
here!
