The views from the top are phenomenal! You can see the whole city. FYI; interest fee is $10. You must wear a mask and have your vaccine shot card. The elevator attendant was just a cupcake!!! She makes you feel so welcome. As she's going up the elevator with you.

If you’re visiting San Francisco and can handle a hard walk to and up the tower, I recommend this is a great place to see some spectacular sights. The elevator was out of commission so I had to walk up the tower. I also walked to the tower so by the time I got to the top I looked like a sweaty farm animal, LOL. The price is $10 to get to the top which seemed reasonable. Plus I wasn’t going to turn around now. However, the views are awesome! You can see all around the bay and into the city. Some of the glass views are dirty, but overall it was okay. I recommend visiting this tourist attraction the next time you get to San Francisco.

Admission $10 per adult. A great view from the top of the Tower. The climb is also interesting at the beginning with murals covering the walls. The only problem is that there were 13 floors and the elevator was out of service. It was a bit of a climb, but once at the top, it was worth it for the fantastic views of all of San Francisco. We were even able to enjoy the flight of eagles around the Tower. A highly recommended experience.

Great views from the observation area at the top. Very photogenic on a clear day. Alcatraz, the Financial District, Golden Gate Bridge, etc. Can all be seen. Cool experience. Not much to do there once you take photos If the line to the top is quick you may be in and out very quick. Not a lot of parking in the lot below.

Fantastic spot to get a 360° view of the San Francisco area. You can see the Golden gate bridge, Alcatraz, the bay bridge, and the SF downtown. The elevator has been broken for quite some time now, so you need to take the stairs. There are over 200 steps. Parking on the weekends is almost always full, so try to get there early or you'll have to get lucky.

A great way to see vast swathes of San Francisco. On a clear day you can see for miles. $10 to go up for the view is well worth the cost. The staff were friendly and helpful. The elevator can only hold 6 people so queues will form quickly. The gift shop has some nice items for sale. The climb to get to the tower is quite arduous but worth it when you get there. Check opening times before embarking on the journey.

Beautiful sights from the top of the tower. It is open air with a 360 view (moving from sight point to sight point). $10 per person seems a little steep. The elevator doesn't work, so you have to climb 13 levels of stairs which they say are 243 steps.

Great view of SF from the top! It's $10/ person to go up to top. You may have to wait in line for a bit but it goes pretty fast. You take an elevator to the top and back down with a max of 6 people. We were staying at Hilton financial district top floor so also had a great view of the different colors at night.

Tower was closed when we visited during the hours mentioned in google maps. Couldn’t find any board near the tower about the actual timings. The base of the tower also has good views, check out the videos I’ve posted along with this review. You can see the bay bridge and the cities scrapers.

Tower gave beautiful view you can see everything from there! I paid $10 to go upstairs but i felt not worth going up. Its a tiny tower but it gives beautiful view! You can see golden gate, Alcatraz and the downtown! I was expecting a little more, there are glasses by the window and the outer part of the tower is not open! I was expecting that to be open, it would be worth if that space was open. The tower is not too high!!

One of the best places in the city to see amazing views of the skyline and the bridges. Make sure to go there on a clear day to take advantage of the views that the top of the tower has to offer! Parking can be scary at times with reports of car break ins; but Muni has great services here, so I opted for it.

Nice little adventure if you're in the area and have extra time. It's really important to keep these types of art murals preserved so we can continue to enjoy them. View is a nice 360 view.

Finally went to the top of Coit Tower. Great views! Was only $10 to ride elevator to the top level. The gift shop had the magnet I was hoping to add to my collection. We went on Tuesday, not crowded, plenty of parking available. Staff was very friendly, and willing to take your picture :)

Excellent views. The tower has beautiful murals inside. The elevator to reach the top is not functioning but if you're willing to go up almost 300 stairs, you can. Good luck! Surrounding park, trails and homes are beautiful.

Beautiful spot with views of pretty much everything you come to S.F. to see. Telegraph Hill itself is definitely a really good spot to watch the sunset, although it could use some seating facing the west. You can easily spend an afternoon here just watching the city evolve as the sun moves across the sky. Pretty trees too, arbutus, eucalyptus, cypress.

The place provides gorgeous views of the bay bridge. It's a good spot during the day and even better during the night. The tower looks amazing on clear moon lit nights. It does get chilly and windy during the nights, so bring layers. I didn't find an issue with parking, but it was late in the evening. Overall a great spot to chill and hangout.

Great from afar, great from up close, great inside, great outside, great above and great below. It provides sprawling views of the city and the bay, with a winding stairway from the streets - during the gold rush signals regarding cargo would be passed from ships in the bay to watchmen on the hill via colorful flags - it makes sense once you’re up there! Inside Coit tower I was surprised to see it’s surrounded wall to wall by murals in a unique marker-style, detailing the history of San Francisco and California. We never went up to the top ($10) but I’d go back to spend more time reading the murals! Not usually my thing, but they were a star for me.

One of the tallest towers in San Francisco, offers a vantage and 360 view of the entire city. There are 13 floors in the tower, and you might have to climb all the way up if you visit on a day when the elevator is out of service (so be prepared)! It costs $10 to climb the tower but once you are up there you get to enjoy a beautiful view of the city. If you don’t want to go all the way up, you are allowed to roam the ground floor for free and learn more about the history of the tower. The staff are super nice, polite and helpful.

Neat place with great view at the top. Prepare to climb some stairs if the elevator isn't working. The lady who worked at the top of the tower in the afternoon last Tuesday, Oct 10, was very helpful and sweet. She was giving folks many pointers for taking photos and helped take pictures of couples.

Great views of the city and the bay. Wasn't busy as we wevisited on a weekday but it can get busy as you wait to park. Good trek up stairs if you are able and elevators are not working. you do have to pay to go up the tower. Well worth the visit for the views.

360° view from the top! I wish there were no windows so I could see more clear view. The each window wasn’t that wide so it was kind of hard to take a video of the scenery. And I couldn’t see the Golden Gate Bridge because of the fog which was unfortunate. The place was not too big, so couldn’t stay that long but there were not many people when I went up there so it was easy to see all the scenery.

Prior to visiting I wanted to confirm ticket prices, however on their website the only fees listed are for guided tours and the elevator. The site stated the elevator was broken and we weren’t planning on using it anyway. When you get there, you can climb or drive to the base of the tower (where parking is also located) and take in a nice view. Once you get past the gift shop you still have to purchase a ticket to go to the top, even if you’re not using the elevator or getting a guided tour. The prices weren’t terrible but they should really update their website to reflect that information. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and clothes you don’t mind sweating in!

Alright take a couple breaths and get ready because this tower has lots of steps and when we went the elevator was out of service but we were already there so up we go haha but the view definitely worth it just take your time going down those stairs. Admission was $10 for adults and I'm not sure what age kids pay but my two year old entrance was free

No parking allowed on the weekend with a few exceptions. I visited around sunset after operating hours. Excellent views. Recommend bringing a better camera than a phone.

Really great 360 views of San Francisco! You can also see Oakland from the top. There is a very small parking lot at the top of the hill. Sometimes if you are lucky you can find a spot there! Around the parking lot are great views of the city, Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge. There are binoculars scattered around to get closer views. There is a small food vendor outside if you need a snack or a drink. Once inside of the tower you will pay a small fee. Last time I was there I believe it was $10. Then you will wait in line for the elevator. After the elevator you will need to go up about 30 stairs. After that you will be up at the top. You will get 360 views of the city!

Great place to visit in the daytime and at night..... It costs $10 to ride the elevator to the top and there are a flight of stairs also. They offer military and first responder discounts. The views are great especially on a clear day. A must see!

The city views ara amazing. We were able to see both iconic bridges from here. We arrived by walking and it was a little challenging, but at the end it was worth it.

This spot is, in my opinion, a hidden gem, offering one of the finest views of Downtown San Francisco! While the climb up the steps can be tiring, the experience is truly worthwhile. I highly recommend a visit to Coit Tower. Although I didn't ascend to the top of the tower, I suggest exploring the surrounding area for a fulfilling experience.

This tower is at a high elevation and gives you some excellent views of the bay and the Bay bridge and cool breeze flowing all around the tower surrounded by a garden. People often come here to chill and have a picnic.

I moved to the Bay Area in 1977 and recently managed to visited Coit Tower after all these decades. Despite the elevator being out of order, the climb to the 13th floor was easy and provided a welcome exercise. The first floor showcases wall murals depicting the history of the Bay Area. Entrance is $10, and the visit takes around 20 to 30 minutes. The view from the top is stunning, offering a picturesque outlook of the city and bay. There's a gift shop at the bottom, but no coffee shop inside; however, you can find drinks and snacks at a booth near the parking area. Parking is limited, so arriving early is advisable, especially to avoid holiday crowds in San Francisco. Otherwise, there is parking down below along the road but it’s a steep climb up to the tower.

We’ve only been able to visit at night and have not been able to go inside but the outside of it is lovely and it has a great view all around. Also has a nice small grass area in the back for a picnic during the day. To enjoy the outside of it and garden area is free and parking is also free, although not much parking is available.

There are such great views from the top of the tower! It is so worth it so pay to go to the top. You can see both the Bay and Golden Gate Bridges. I luckily caught a clear day. I highly recommend taking the Filbert St steps the the tower.

This is a must if you are in town for a visit. The grounds were beautiful. There was ample parking and Uber was easy to get as well. There are bathrooms on site as well as a gift shop. The tickets were reasonable $7.00-$10.00. The line went quick to get up to the top and the views were amazing!

amazing place, historical. not hard to get to. Parking is limited but space fills up quickly. from the site, the view of the city and the bay is not very good, the trees interfere, but the view from the tower is excellent. it is a pity that it is badly glazed for photos. inside the tower there is a beautiful fresco, a visual history. I recommend to visit, beautiful and interesting. Yes, you can climb the tower by the elevator and paid.
