Opportunity to taste different wine and select your favorite. Cheese and meat pairings are awesome. Highly recommended for those who like high quality wine.

The place has a great ambience, though our experience was fairly okay. It took us a while to get our seats even with a prior reservation and the service was pretty slow. The food is decent but the wine is really really good.

Very fun wine bar. Extensive selection of quality wines Delicious bites you don't want to miss from charcuterie to hot items. We tried duck, salad and charcuterie...all very delicious.

Enjoy an unbelievable atmosphere while at the extraordinary Amelie San Francisco who serves some of the most unbelievable wines ... Here's a good start of wines to taste while on a date: Cassette Malbec, Domaune Du Petit Perou, Pom N Roll Pomerol, Chatean Rozier Saint Emilion Grand Cru 2016, Buoncristiani O.P.C. from beautiful Napa Valley Prop Red Wine from 2015. As well, a 2011 Beaucanon Estate Cuvée Louis Napa Valley Cabernet Franc! As well, enjoy exceptional first class service on every serve. Hey, you might even learn some French!

Came by Amelie while we waited for our House of Prime Rib seats...and what a surprise it was! We ordered some drinks and small eats: -1 wine flight for $21 -1 glass Bon $12 -escargot $14 -charcuterie $25 Absolutely LOVED the escargot. So good with the butter, and it was piping hot. Great to dip with the bread. Huge shout out to Nalani at the bar for being courteous! This is a great spot while you wait for a seat at HoPR. Hoenstly, Amelie was far better than HoPR haha. Definitely come here for their HH! Excited to be back in the near future! Live music was playing as well. Street parking only.

When I found out about this wine bar I just thought “another wine bar in the city” but now I would highly recommend this destination, it’s more than just “another wine bar”. We were in the neighbourhood and came to the happy hour (4-6) and we were pleasantly surprised. The wine flights had a huge variety to pick from and the cheese/meat board was super filling. The staff is friendly as well! I lived in Spain and this experience took me back to the bars in Madrid. Plus there was live music after 6.

Adorable wine bar, indoor & outdoor seating, good happy hour offerings. Some offerings I can vouch for: cheese & meat charcuterie board, champignon flatbread, shrimp flambé, and roasted cauliflower.

Vibey, curated and affordable! The wine flights are an incredible deal for the quality of wine you get, and the food is on-par with what you'd order as an appetizer at a much pricier restaurant. The service was fast, friendly and informative. Highly recommend!

Cozy wine bar with an awesome selection of wines. Got Plateau Parfait, Flatbread of the day, Roasted potatoes and tried a whole lot of wine. In mid November they had a fine selection of Beaujolais wine. No words to describe it so pls try while they have it. Amelie is kid friendly.

amelie is one of the best wine bar in sf! they have daily happy hour specials between 4-6pm and a custom wine flight for $12.50 (very generous sizes). the ambiance is amazing. they have live music on the weekends and old movie theater style seats for you to sit in. the servers were all very friendly and they'll recommend wines for you to try if you're indecisive like me! food can take a while to come out on a busy evening, so order food at the same time as your drinks. i highly recommend trying the mushroom arugula champignon flatbread + a charcuterie board to pair with your wine flight! amelie is such a neighborhood treasure on polk street and a must try for anyone in the area 💕

Amelie is a treasure. There’s an excellent array of wines by the glass or bottle at all price points, and great food to go with it. Awesome staff, comfy movie theater-style seating, and an awesome atmosphere.

Phenomenal. Frédérique was great, I enjoyed the atmosphere. Happy hour flatbread was surprisingly delicious with incredible complexity of flavor. Perfect for about any wine. I’ll be back.

Price is a bit high but service was awesome. Food was very good and unique, just the reason we chose this place. While casual, we received service of a high-end dining experience. We went here (dressed fancy) as part of our Moulin Rouge night and walked to the Orpheum Theater (kind of far).

I love this wine bar and always make friends and bring friends here. Friendly french speaking staff are patient and knowledgeable about recommending the right wine - not to mention the menu comes attached to music albums from Abba to the Beatles, an eclectic touch

Discovered this place thanks to a friend and had a few dinner parties there. The food is good. Good music with live artists. The owner, French 🇫🇷, as well as the staff are super friendly. Highly recommended!

Very French night out place with nice atmosphere and food. The garçons are welcoming and of good advice on the menu choices. I recommend the salmon tartare and the chèvre chaude. You can see both in my pictures along with the sweet oignons soup and plate of charcuterie. Bring your friend along as the place is also known for wine - obviously as you can see bottle everywhere :)

One of my favorite place in San Francisco! Love the venue, designed as french bars which makes me feel like home. Germain, the owner of the bar, offers a huge variety of wines with a focus on French ones. If you are hungry, share French cheese and charcuterie or taste some French cuisine!! And in winter, they also make Raclette on Thursdays... I already had mine ^^
