It's ok for the price. It's affordable and in a really great location right in the heart of the city. Beds were comfortable and clean. The room is tiny. Smallest you'll ever stay in. That's all fine it's worth what you pay. The problem was the bag of Victoria secret that came up missing after they cleaned the room. We came back from shopping and got ready for dinner, my wife put on a new pair of her panties after cleaning up then we hit the town. We came back and the room had been cleaned. The next morning we realized the bag of Victoria secret was gone. Hotel staff took a report but nothing was done. So lock your stuff up or don't have them clean the room.

I recently stayed at Hotel Fusion in San Francisco, and unfortunately, I encountered an unresolved billing issue during my stay. After checking out, an unauthorized charge of $95 appeared on my debit card. Despite multiple follow-up calls, there has been no refund or update on the matter. The dismissive attitude from customer service added to my dissatisfaction. I cannot recommend Hotel Fusion due to these issues. I will be pursuing legal action for this reason

First time in San Francisco and stayed here for 3 nights. Woman at the front desk was very helpful, was able to check in early which was a great start. Room size was decent with a big bathroom. Cable Tv, iron + board, A/C, and Safe. No microwave in the room. Location is great, was able to walk to most places and Bart station 2 blocks away. Housekeeping was on point every day. Overall great experience and great staff. Will stay again here next time I'm in SF. Definitely recommend this place

The first night we were given a double bed, but it was so short that my husband's feet stuck out over it and in terms of width it was more like a single bed. That morning we also found a cockroach. The kind woman at the front desk unbooked us to a Queen bed. Unfortunately the heating in the hallways is ridiculously high so you have to sleep with the air conditioning on in the bedroom. The air conditioning is mega noisy. Finally, the walls are super thin, I can hear people talking, playing music, showering. I don't recommend anyone to sleep here. 2 stars are purely for the location and the nice woman.

Yikes! Paper thin walls... To the point where we could hear normal volume conversations in adjacent rooms. Also, we were facing the street and heard music from a restaurant/bar until 11:00pm. An interior room would have been better. We called about switching rooms but were told there wasn't one in the interior available. There were bed bug traps on the mattress protector zippers. Maybe it's comforting that they're keeping an eye out? I found it to be disgusting and tacky to come across them. I usually do a quick check when I get into hotel rooms and was shocked to see them. Our mattress protectors had major black sharpe markings. There was actual writing in sharpe (room numbers and smiley faces?), so I didn't think it was bedbug frass. Our room smelled clean, and was decently clean, but there were a few spots overlooked and dirty. ... Example: above the door in the bathroom was covered in hair. Everyone in our group whacked their leg or toe on the beds/furniture at least once. One managed to ding up their shin really good. The rooms are extremely cramped and the bed frames are low to the ground and bulky. Watch out, they'll get ya! No desk or work space in any of the rooms we occupied, but I honestly don't know where they'd go! The lobby was very classy, but the bar/restaurant/etc. weren't open. We were told they've been closed since Covid. The valet drivers were extremely kind. Plan on waiting around 20 minutes to have your car brought up though... One way streets and traffic are the culprit. Staff was very helpful on restaurant recommendations. Tad's was a hit for dinner. This part of SF has been overtaken by homeless. It's rough. Our group stayed here after a Giants day game and walked to the hotel... It was 1.5 miles. Easy walk, but I wouldn't want to do it after dark or without a group of people during the day. We weren't threatened, but were awkwardly approached several times on the walk and very close to the hotel. We'll look elsewhere next time. Lots of red flags in the reviews that we should have heeded.

This is a cool hotel with small rooms. I don't use the room for anything but sleeping and the bathroom, so it doesn't bother me. I liked the TV. The location is great, like 5 minutes from the mall and about 10 from Chinatown. The staff was cool and checkout is relatively late.

Tiny room with a full size bed, window looks at a brick wall. Only amenity is a small gym. Sink doesn’t drain. No work space or table surface. Booked on a whim and wanted to add an extra night - they tried to charge $500. Insane. Won’t be back, recommend others to stay somewhere else. Location isn’t great - downtown, very dangerous at night. Photo included - wide angle does it justice.

I selected the hotel for its easy access to BART a block away. Classy lobby, well maintained clean rooms. Friendly staff with knowledge of the area. The simple twin is small to be sure but fine for a solo traveler. The view is internal light-well with duct work. The lack of air conditioning in this room however didn’t thrill me. I would have also appreciated a bath robe.

Do NOT Recommend. Pros: location central, very friendly front desk service, reasonably priced Cons: worst part of SF so not the safest/cleanest, especially at night, to walk freely. WARNING ⚠️ front desk director (Dennis) is the most rude and unprofessional representative of a hotel i have ever dealt with. Beware! He cancelled my non refundable booking so i lost $300. Absolute scumbag. Hotel non responsive and not helpful. I simply requested a date change. Outrageously bad level of service. Avoid this hotel at all cost!

So this was our vacation time. This hotel is nestled in the part of the city that is close to everything which is great. Second nice interior of hotel, the rooms are cozy at least ours was and measured it at 9 x 14 approximately. Bathrooms are cool I like the glass showers. The only odd thing was our window, the view was the inside of the hotel where pigeons like to hang out. Possibly a safety health hazard because they like to sit on the air conditioner and poop you could be breathing that in. Otherwise nice cozy Hotel gets the job done of resting and showering and getting on with your day. There is Wi-Fi as well we saw a pool table and a bar but didn't pay any attention to that since we were always out traveling the area. Also pay attention to the app you'll need to access any bus lines or trolleys, etc.

I was going to stay here for a day visit but saw the room and immediately left. This place needs to be completely remodeled. Cant recommend staying here.

Great location off Union Square but the rooms were small (not sure this is standard for SF but after being to Vegas and a couple of other places in the US, we were surprised by how small the space was). As such, the twin beds shouldn't have a wooden frame that is bigger than the mattress... takes up valuable room space and causes shin bruises. The location of the hotel is great, our room wasn't overlooking a main street so was quiet and the WiFi was decent too. Cleaners did a fantastic job also.

Its nice. Had a small cockroach in the room but I guess it happens. They have day options. Good service and short walk from BRAT so it's great for long layovers for whoever's layover in SFO or Auckland airport

Second time staying here. First time was awesome and so was the second time until Friday night when room 323 was being noisy. Went to lobby to complain and she said she would try and figure it out returned 15 minutes later to desk and she hadn't. I told her what room number it was so she offerd to move me although all my stuff has been unpacked from being here for 4 days already. She then rang the room and they said they were just watching TV. Asked her to come to my room to listen she wasn't interested so I walked away and gave up. I have to be up early and it's now 1.47 am.what ever happend to the rule of not disturbing other guests. If you want peace and quiet don't stay here

And the staff is what makes this hotel a regrettable choice for A hotel if you are in San Francisco. Seemingly incapable of communication and inexperienced in hospitality, I left feeling as though my money was wasted and I was personally disrespected. Maybe if you have an Inlaw that you absolutely despise and want to passive aggressively tell them you have always hated them, you might consider getting them a room at this hotel for amateur hour.

Intense and unpleasant smell of cleaning products throughout hallways and inside room. Old building, acoustics are poor... don't expect a good night's sleep! Otherwise, you pay what you get for. Good location if you want to be close to BART.

Great experience for the price. I expected less but it was nicer than more expensive hotels I've stayed in. I got the king room and thought it was a good value. Some street noise in the mornings from our houseless neighbors but I think all hotels in the area are the same in this sense.

Great location and inexpensive rates, this hotel has a beautiful lobby and the rooms are minimally decorated - it's in an old building so they do not have centralized air conditioning but a window-type A/C unit and the hallways are warm. It's charming and cozy.

My mother and I stayed here a couple of nights ago. All was well! A 5-minute walk from the Powell BART station, easy and friendly check-in, felt safe and was quiet, clean and had everything we needed. It was helpful to read reviews ahead of time knowing that the room would be small. Our room did not face the street and maybe that's why it was so quiet. There is a coffee maker and a fridge in the room, as well as a safe. Downstairs they had a microwave and coffee. Just one block away was John's Grill restaurant which turned out to be very nice! Almost too nice as the price for a hamburger was $25. I guess they are known for their steak. Afterwards we walked 4 blocks to the Golden Gate Theatre show. It was nice not to hassle with the car. The hotel was everything we had hoped for and I'm grateful. Oh one last thing, we booked our stay on Groupon

I picked this hotel because of its convenient location, reasonable price, and good reviews. The place exceeded our expectations: very clean, comfortable, and within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants, and transportation. Our room had air conditioning, a good thing because the room faced the very noisy street. It may look like the hallway carpet is stained, but it's the weird pattern - every thing was kept spotless! Only drawback: noise from the street as cars raced up the hill on a Friday night and louts noisily exiting the elevator. Maybe request an interior room for the noise.

Stayed here for three nights and had a good time. The hotel lobby is very modern, while the rooms are comfortable and clean, but in a more traditional design. The size was good as well, as we got a room with a double and a single bed. Our room was clean, the only downside was that the rooms are not quite sound proof. The location near Powell Metro Station is great, you can easily explore San Francisco by foot and public transportation from here. We also tried their gym, which has a couple of modern cardio machines and bar-bells. We were satisfies with our stay here.

We stayed 2 nights to see the SF Giants and Hotel Fusion was our temporary home. They made us feel welcomed from the moment we walked in. We paid $65/ night for valet but you cannot put a price on having your car in a garage where there is a tenant 24/7 in SF. Sean/Shaun at the front desk took care of us and also 2 ladies were very helpful. Thank you for the great experience. My only complaint is the 1 elevator can be a hassle but we took the stairs many times. Good exercise

It's a nice, well-kept, almost-boutique hotel. The rooms are clean and well-stocked with toiletries, clean sheets, and a great 24 hour fitness center. My only complaint is the lack of amenities: the bar and restaurant have been closed since COVID began. Understandable, but still disappointing. It's conveniently located a few blocks away from public transit and Union Square, so you don't need to rent a car if you're staying here.
