Not sure why this is only a 1 star hotel, but I would definitely stay here again! This place is perfect for a budget/solo traveler (me). I felt safe and it looked like there was ample FREE parking. It's also in a great location, I was able to walk to fisherman's warf and pier 39. The room was clean and the check in/out process was smooth. The only real downside was that it got loud at night. Overall, I am happy with my experience.

Spacious room, clean, big comfy bed, easy parking, good location to takeaway places, cafes and restaurants, friendly and helpful reception guy on check in. Daily room servicing was great. There are trash/rubbish bins outside the room as well as inside which was super handy. I’m confused as to why this is only 1 star to be honest…. Bad points were the fridge/air con was loud & the wifi was terrible- keeps dropping in and out.

Surprisingly luxe rooms given the outside appearance (and room rate). Plush towels and a shower as nice as in my just-renovated bathroom at home. Off-street parking included (note: first come, first served). Staff were exceptionally helpful. Safe neighborhood, lots of restaurants in walking distance, bus stop just outside the motel on a line that took us over to Fisherman’s Wharf/cable cars. A few nits: no Kleenex that we could see, no hooks & only one towel rack in bathroom, mini-fridge had no freezer. Would definitely stay again.

Location is amazing, you can easily get everywhere with a bus. There is free parking space, we had no problems with finding a spot, plenty of room. Very nice service, and the rooms were so clean! Really recommend if your staying for a night or two. Great value for the money. If you're a light sleeper pass on this, can get noisy because of the cars and loud people in the streets.

Nightmare I trusted the recomendations of this motel but last night was literally a nightmare, there is kinda club or bar next to the spot guys drunk everywhere even fighting etc. Second night on Sunday was the same even shoots outside. Parking lot is not enough, you most park in a small back parking lot can't sleep even thinking in something could happen to my car. Tried to change room for second night they said don't have any. Rooms where good. Good location but anything works if you can't just sleep

Location was great. But the WiFi was horrible, unusable, dropped every 5 seconds, I had to use my cell data. Also, it was very off putting that I had to pay an extra odd $10 fee at check in when I arrived late at night that was nowhere disclosed on my booking with Traveluro. Stayed 4 nights, requested an upstairs unit but got a bottom and it was a bit loud. Also, 2 very small windows made it feel a bit like a dungeon. 3 stars because WiFi is a must while traveling, and hidden fees are super annoying.

Nice rooms, clean, helpfull staff, including everything you expect in motel. Good value for the money. You can use laundry also. Parking place small, but ok.

Honestly I was worried booking a motel because I normally do not find they are clean or safe - I couldn’t have been more wrong! This place made our trip to SF so pleasant and relaxing. The rooms exceeded our expectations with size and cleanliness.. the staff and cleaning ladies were also very kind. I even forgot my concert tickets and had them sent via Fed EX to the front desk with no issues. The location was very safe with cute bars and restaurants near by. I will definitely be staying here again for our next trip!

The two-story motel was surprisingly safe and clean. The location was central to most places of interest in the city. Rooms that are close to the sidewalk may be a little noisy from pedestrian and vehicle traffic, so pick the rooms away from the street. The free parking was great and plenty. We’ll stay at this motel again for the next visit.

I have stayed here many times for medical trips. The rooms are always clean and quiet. Customer service is great. Location is great, everything you need is within walking distance. Free parking in a parking lot. Price is great as well. Will continue to stay here in the future.

Kind Staff, very welcome parking and excellent location, room was generally nice. However the AC unit and the fridge were SO LOUD during the night that we simply could not get a good night's sleep even after a busy day.

This was a great location, with easy access to bus service. We had a car one night, and parking in the motel lot was a bit tight, but doable and safe. Staff was very friendly, and the minifridge and microwave were just right for us.

The reviews I read hit the nail on the head: ultra clean and tidy, so much room, and having a full complement of furniture - bed, desk, couch. It's also in a great location.

It was great! Easy location and my car stayed safe parked in there. The front desk guy was very nice and personable. The room was clean, modern and very nice. We paid after taxes about 200 a night and free parking!! Totally worth it. The outside seemed a little sketchy at first... but don't let the cover fool you.. it was a very nice place and we would stay there again.

We stayed here 30 years ago on our honeymoon and it has kept all of its character. It has parking alongside which is rare in San Francisco. I paid s short visit this time to return some match booklets which we kept as a souvenir and I wanted to return them after 30 happy years and many great memories.

On first glance the facility looks sketchy and rough around the edges. Don't judge this place based on the seedy location. The rooms are really clean, my room had a GORGEOUS bathroom with shiny red tile and a detachable shower head. There is no Bible in the side table so sin away. I was very shocked when I opened the door if I am being honest. The beds were comfortable and not those awkward motel sheets where they expect you to pee on them so they are water proof. They had a microwave, a little coffee pot, and a mini fridge too! Plus, for a good time there is a little bar across the street that has a poppin karaoke vibe. The best fun I have ever had at a bar, and I wasn't even drinking! I'd stay at this facility again, no questions asked.

Great price, free parking, and clean room. The room had a surprisingly spacious bathroom with a walk in shower. Located within walking distance of several shops and restaurants. Definitely walk to nearby Twisted Street Cafe for quick toast and horchata cold brew.

Considering the price and the free parking in an area where that is rare, this place is a hidden gem. The rooms aren't fancy, and if you are unlucky enough to have a room next to an inconsiderately loud neighbor, as we were one night, that sucks. Otherwise, this is probably in the top 10 budget motels located in the main areas of SF, and in the top 2 or 3 in the Marina. It's located within easy walking distance to many excellent restaurants, shops, and the waterfront. We spent a great couple of days using this place as basecamp as we explored the area, and intend to return soon.

Worst experience in a hotel. I trusted the Google reviews but it was a nightmare. People screaming, fighting laughing loud, peeing at our car. You can also hear the steps of people above you. The only star is for the kindness of the staff and that it was "clean". Not sure they change the blankets between clients. The room itself was OK.

Nice, clean, relatively inexpensive place to stay. The rooms were just a bit dated and could use some minor maintenance items taken care of but I have seen a worse for a lot more money. It was easy to get around from there. I would stay there again if in the area.

Great location and good room, maybe a little bit outdated but worth the amount of money you paid. All the staff was friendly and very comforting. House keeping was super friendly and on par just great how she really asked if we needed anything from shower amenities to coffee even though we only asked for new towels cause we didn't need any other house keeping.

Really liked this room. Bed, shower, linens, decor better than expected. All fresh new clean and a great rate for an excellent location. Had a problem with Howard Johnson motel owner nearby and these folks were kind.
