We stayed here last year in November and Duy the gentleman that checked us in was awesome. He was nice, friendly, very positive and quick. We had problems with the tv not working due to the remote control and he was quick to come fix it. He even pointed out a nice restaurant that served the best chinese food we have ever had. There was also a little deli style shop that sold fruits, cheeses of different assortments and sold teas abd coffees that we enjoyed also. We will definitely be back. Thanks Duy for being so awesome to our family.

YES it does have a smell Like a lot of other reviews I've seen on here about this place said. .. BUT SMELL IS A SUPER STRONG CLEANER they use. SO ❤️ THE SMELL! The room we got was MASSIVE! The bathroom was clean and worked but could use some cosmetic upgrades. The beds were SO COMFORTABLE! Although my friend and I thought they were missing their comforters. We ended up perfectly cozy and warm without having to ask for a blanket. Free Parking on-site is AMAZING! LOCATION is ideal. So many great restaurants well within walking distance. Area has TONS of outdoor eating areas and streets and shops lively with people. Can't wait to stay another night in San Francisco because it will definitely be @Nob Hill Motor Inn!

Gross... Gross gross gross. The only thing this place had going for it was the free parking. Upon entering the room and kicking off my shoes, I thought "I'm going to choose to believe they just steam cleaned these carpets, and that's why they're damp." But judging by the smell, the mold on the ceiling, and the dust on the headboard, we all know that's not why they were damp. And truth be told, I don't want to know why.

Comfortable bed in an otherwise dingy room that has obviously been in use for several decades. Parking included is a huge bonus because street parking is next to impossible to find. Plenty of hot water and good smelling soaps. No bed bugs.

While it is an older hotel, it was clean and a perfect locstion. Bus lines and one of the cable car ines was just a few blocks away, making it convenient for going wherever we needed. The beds were comfortable and we had enough outlets and charging stations for all our devices, something you don't always find in older hotels. I would stay here again.

The room was one of the worst I’ve stayed in. The smell of the room knocks you when you walk in. It’s moldy, carpet was ripped, furniture old and ripped/stained. No ventilation in bathroom and could see where the mold would be coming from. Disinfected the room when we arrived. I even kept my suitcase closed just in case something crawled, that’s how stressed I was in staying in this room. The old bed, the thin walls didn’t make it better. Only plus is the location, but even then when I checked in they immediately said don’t leave anything in the car because it might get broken into. Didn’t make me feel good to leave my car underneath.

We ended up staying there twice at the end of or trip doing one more night in San Francisco. Its nothing overly special, but everything works. Its somewhat dated, but then all the motels we are stayed at were somewhat dated. Rooms were fine and clean. Location was decent (and the main reason we went back). It’s a 20 minute flat walk to the wharf area. There is a Walgreens a block away along with a few restaurants and bars. Nothing special, but then the price was lower end, I’d stay there again anyhow

I chose this place just for the position, greats to see the city by walking. In the room there was web and dust. For hot water we had to wait long time.

I was looking for a cheap room for a night. I had my expectations low and this place was better than I thought. The room was decent, the beds were comfortable, restroom could use a good bleach scrubbing. The ceiling has a bit of mold but for one night it was fine. It was quiet and had parking. Overall it was ok.

Rooms really 3.5* why ? Just compared to a Travelodge. I would stay here again without hesitation. The location is superb IE 49 bus stop is 1 minute walk. So South to Market st or north to get the 28. Felt safe and secure around this area. Note room 216 faces the street and also has the hotel streetlights on the "balcony" so it's daylight 24/7 but get an eyemask and u b fine. Location really is superb u can also get a 12 bus direct to next to ferry terminal

A very solid Inn. Modern simple design with very useful features. Nice comfortable swivel chair to sit on and get work done for hours. Nice wifi and microwave and coffee maker. The mirror is fancy with white backlight. The only thing I don’t like is there is a lack of noise isolation in the room. You can hear everything outside of your room.

What can I say about this place, let's see. The room smells like sewerage, the carpet is damp has holes and stains everywhere, the paint is flaking, there's mould in bathroom, electrical connections twisted together, lights go on and off when the front door shuts or the neighbours above walk around, ceiling and walls so thin as you can actually hear neighbours conversations, fridge is rusty and mouldy, window shutters broken, A/C is filthy and noisy, TV didn't work initially, microwave dirty, chairs filthy, wallpaper peeling, bathroom cabinet falling apart and water damaged. Now the positives, location was OK and did have parking if you were lucky enough. Oh, good luck with the internet.

Rooms were clean, but very dated. Noisy environment, so not a great stay while trying to get over jet lag from a long flight. Decent location to access restaurants or coffee shops. A great vegan coffee shop is located at the end of the street which offered a great alternative to some clean health choices. I got charged a random us$30 at the end of my stay, which I have still not received a response from my email enquiry as to what this was for!

Pros: great location, free parking off the street (though limited), private bathrooms (i guess sharing hotel bathrooms is a thing out here?), large rooms Cons: carpets in the room needed to be replaced or ripped up at least five years ago, covered in disgusting stains and feels moist to walk on. Rooms have a pungent must to them which reminds me of my grandparents basement (probably the carpet), you can clearly hear neighboring guests wether it be above or beside your own room. Wifi doesn't work. Bring your own pillow from home, these ones are unnecessarily uncomfortable. Furniture in the room is extremely dated. A solid remodel would fix this place, but likely negate the cheap price.

Our room looked like it was recently renovated, clean and nice. TV didn't work. and for some reason we had no hot water to shower, the sink water was hot, but not the shower. The staff moved us to the room next to us, but unfortunately it had the same issue. It is a nice hotel, clean and with a great location. Only issue we had was the cold water, just one guy from the staff tried to help us with the cold water issue by moving us to a different room. the other people just told us to open the water and wait 15 min for it to warm up, but unfortunately that never happened.

The hotel is well-located, but my experience was disappointing. Despite breakfast being advertised, I couldn't even get a cup of coffee. Furthermore, the reception area has an unpleasant odor, and it's challenging to locate the staff.
