This hotel is the best hotel I've rented since I've came to SF, Hands down the manager/property owner he's the absolute best. He makes sure guest has everything they need & also offers housekeeping each day you stay.. Housekeeping definitely does the best job as well AWESOME HOTEL

Room was okay. Very run down and musty but okay for the price. No coffee available on site, no breakfast, staff okay. Location good considering it has free parking. No lift. Could do with a refurb. Glad we only stayed 2 nights though.

+ Hotel in very good location - close to the shop, gas station and marina (by foot). Room size enough for two persons - typical american style. Free parking included. Good WiFi speed and easy to connection. Friendly staff. Good for few days staying (we were three days) - Old fashioned and old equipments but this we knew before arrival. Our room without microwave - second (our friends) room had it. Fridge didn't work

As I was taking myself and my wife to the final Dead & Company Show I booked my room here 6 months in advance. I informed them that we would be accompanied by my small service dog. They informed me that as long as I had documentation to show that he is indeed a service animal, there would be no problem. Fast forward to three days ago. Called to confirm and no problems, service dog okay with documents. Today, when we show up to check in, we are informed that they DO NOT allow animals, which is a direct violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act. They were using the old bait and switch method of doing business. Thank God for the Tenderloin Motel 6 for stepping up to the plate. We got the same size room (2 queen beds), FOR LESS!!! You are running a very shoddy business and I suggest that you learn the laws as they pertain to not only business, but about human AND civil rights that some of us have been fighting for for centuries and some of us still are! SHAME. ON. YOU. for blaming your owner and for refusing to allow me to attempt to discuss this with them. You will be reported to the United States Department of Justice, ADA Division upon my return home, and a possible Civil Lawsuit for the above violations.

Good location. A few minutes from the Golden Gate Bridge and the harbor. The room was not perfect but it was worth the price. In the parking lot it said that the hotel is not responsible for damage caused by car break-ins, but I felt that the car was safer here than anywhere else in San Francisco.

Whenever I do go back to San Francisco, I will certainly stay at this Town House Motel, because the Gentleman that runs this establishment, is by far the classiest Manager I've ever met, in my 60 years of life. And I have been all over the world, and San Francisco, none are in his league of genuine class. We were there for Fleet Week. Amen.

The hotel is in a nice location but the room is quiet old. The toilet is very low. No coffee the microwave didn't have the tray. It got quiet noisy at night. A couple of people were yelling at each other. We went there because we've stayed there before and it was a bit old but clean and cozy. Won't go back there again

The rooms are a decent size and they were really clean. The bed was super comfortable. The room had a couple things that were kind of broken, but working. Sometimes you could hear the footsteps of people upstairs so it was a little uncomfortable. The owner was nice and helpful with everything we asked for. The location was great! It was close to many attractions and the neighborhood was really nice.

Good location, but otherwise horrible. Rooms have weird odor, furniture outdated, walls are dirty.

This place was horrible. I read some of the other reviews and it feels like so many of these people stayed at a completely different motel than us. Our room was so dirty (I tried to upload photos but this forum doesnโ€™t have that function.) it was a non smoking room that wreaked of smoke, somewhat unsurprisingly after we noticed the fire alarm had been ripped out of the wall. There was no breakfast provided of any kind (we all went down at 9:30 and there was just a coffee pot. Not suitable breakfast for an adult but also completely inaccessible for my two children). Donโ€™t stay here. There are many many motels/hotels in the area for similar prices.

A liitle dated, but fine for a motel. Located close (walking distance) to sights such as the crooked lombard street & Pier 39. Golden gate bridge is a short drive. Staff was friendly and helpfull. So if you are looking for a basic motel at a good location, with enough free parking space, then you this place will meet your needs.

If you just want a base in San Francisco and somewhere to sleep with parking it's ideal. The owner is friendly, but the rooms could do with updating.

We had a great stay here. The rooms were comfortable, but small, but we had anything weโ€™d need. The shower was ok. Some problems with keycards, but was fixed by the guy working here. Our hero. Parking is by the way maybe a little difficult, because itโ€™s a small space, but itโ€™s in the city & free! Great visit here.

I stayed in this hotel 4 days. There owner (and also manager) was very friendly and tried to provide me with my requests. The room was average with all basic facilities with no microwave. However, I asked for a microwave and the manager provided me one. I believe compare to the price the room condition was good. Another good thing of my experience was that I got an extra parking lot with additional payment. So I could park my car and a 10' Uhaul truck. Before you book this hotel you should know about the following matters. - Event thought, you would get a parking lot, it is small and not very convenient. - In my opinion it's not a good idea for family especially with children to stay in this hotel.

Friendly staff with dependable pricing. Not recommended for families but safe for single women and 1 person parties. Quiet and reliable

It was close to the pier so thought it was the perfect location, 1.3 miles. The staff was exceptional. Very friendly and helpful. The rooms are dated and the mattresses can use an upgrade. We were three blocks from union street and had lots of restaurants to choose from.
