Annie
runs
the
bar
most
of
the
time.
She
is
just
hilarious.
Kind
of
racist,
but
in
a
friendly
kind
of
way.
I
live
across
the
street
and
there
didn't
seem
to
be
a
pattern
of
when
they
are
open.
I
asked
her
one
time
when
they
are
open
and
she
said
in
a
very
thick
Irish
accent,
"Whenever
the
hell
I
feel
like
it!"
When
she
pours
a
liquor
drink,
you
only
need
one.
I
took
my
Valentine's
day
date
there
last
year
and
he
was
talking
and
I
had
to
silence
him
and
point
to
the
drink
so
he
could
see
what
was
happening.
He
was
confused
until
he
looked,
then
he
saw
what
I
saw...
7/8
of
the
glass
was
gin
and
the
other
1/8
was
tonic.
The
gin
was
Bombay
Sapphire
and
it
was
a
whole
five
dollars.
One
time
I
was
in
there
and
I
asked
if
she
took
checks
and
she
said,
"No
darling
I
haven't
taken
checks
since
1976"
and
I
said
"Well
why
do
you
have
a
sign
that
states
the
penalty
for
returned
checks?"
and
she
laughed
and
said
she
should
take
it
down.
I
asked
for
it
(much
to
my
roommates
dismay).
I
still
have
it.
Another
time
my
roommate
and
I
were
in
there
and
we
ended
up
playing
pool
with
her
and
another
customer.
She
heckled
him
the
whole
time.
You
just
can't
get
experiences
like
this
in
a
cookie
cutter
bar.
