I have been to this place for dinner and it has never disappointed! Everything here tastes delicious with quick and friendly service. Pad Thai, shrimp fried rice and beef were super tasty and even the champagne cocktail is nice and refreshing. I would come back here anytime, whether it be dinner with friends or a nice date spot. Also has outdoor seating!

I’ve been to Lapisara 3 times now. Two for brunch and one for dinner. All the times I have been happy with what I ordered. This last time I had the fish and chips. I do have to say they were my least favorite of the items I’ve had. My favorite has been the egg Benedict’s and the Thai dinner. Fish and chips Had no real flavor. It almost seemed like the batter was not seasoned at all. Not a fan. The portion is pretty shareable. Thai tea a little in the sweeter side but good. Staff is attentive and very nice. Definitely a must try! just skip the fish and chips. Also if you are coming in for brunch during the weekend be prepared to wait in line.

We went here on a Thursday morning for Brunch and we're really happy we found this place. The menu was creative, with a mix of classic brunch items such as waffles / eggs Benedict / omelette and brunch items with a Thai twist. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly and attentive. There was no waiting time around 9am, but it got full quickly after that. We would come back.

My wife ordered the fried chicken and waffles; I got the salmon lox on sourdough bread with the hot thai tea. Fresh, filling, and made quickly. The tea was flavourful and not too sugary. If you get there early the wait isn’t too bad. Definitely will be coming back!

Beautiful food, pretty interior, great service! There was a short (10-15min) line when we arrived but it was totally worth the wait. We got the chicken and waffles, and salmon Benedict - both were delicious! I especially loved the spicing of the chicken, fresh fruit, and the flavour of the waffles, plus everything looked beautiful. Thai iced tea was super yummy too! Definitely coming back again, either for brunch or dinner!

I loved this place. The food was delicious and beautifully presented! Loved the colors. I had an 🥑toast with a poached egg and it came with a side of fresh fruits. My cappuccino was excellent. Both the hostess (seems also like a manager or co owner) and the server were nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend this place. The only small thing I’d change is the noise level. It seems it was partly because of one super loud table and also the acoustics in the room.

Spotted this place next to my hotel, and all the other positive reviews - it did not disappoint! The food was delicious, well-presented and served promptly with excellent customer service. I had the sample platter (this would easily serve two) and the chicken and waffle special. My only complaint, is that I'm now superbly full 😂 #NotReallyAProblem Well done team, great food and a great experience! Thank you! 🙏

Amazing quiet local neighbourhood diner that impressed us very much! It wasn’t too busy and all 3 of us enjoyed our dishes thoroughly- my French toast w/eggs were delicious! My friends tried the tong yum burrito and loved it! Out of the 3 diner breakfasts we had nearby, this was our favourite.

Wait is a little long, around 20 minutes. Nice atmosphere, good sized portions. The food didn't come at the same time, a little disappointing. Waffles are really good, fried chicken was on the dry side, very plain. The burgers are really really thick, kind of difficult to eat but good flavor.

Amazing place for brunch. Each of the items we ordered were really good. They have indoor as well as outdoor seating. Tried their avo toast, pancakes, tofu scramble and chicken sandwich.

Note: we went on a Sunday around noon. A nice place, though there's a bit of a wait. The menu was fine and the portions generous, but they did run out of things and had to retake our order. The drinks were very good though and we have nothing to say against them. Ultimately you can look to eat here but only really if you're already in the area, it's not what I would call a destination eatery and I'd be hard-pressed to say you should wait in line for one of their drinks if you can't sit and enjoy it. Perhaps the weekdays would be more worth the visit, and if they're not too busy then I'd say stop by and grab a beverage.

Avoiding lines at other nearby breakfast spots, we ended up here and I'm SO glad we did -- the food was exceptional, the service friendly, and the atmosphere is adorable and fun. I had French toast, scrambled eggs, and Thai pork sausage. The French toast is coated in ground nuts, delicious. The sausage was so unique and brightly flavored. And the coffee drinks were tasty too. Though on the pricier side, the portion sizes are very generous and the food quality makes it more than worthwhile. We got there on a Friday morning around 9:30 and had a 10min wait. By the time we left, there was a line out the door but it moved quickly. Don't miss this spot!

Great brunch! Very tasty food. Fast service (thank god:). Place was pretty cold inside due to the draft from the open door, we changed a few tables to find a warmer spot but had to leave fast as they didn’t want to close it (technically it’s still winter btw). People were wearing their warm coats while eating, but maybe it’s a San Francisco thing:)

Run, don't walk to Lapisara. Their chicken and waffles is absolutely to die for. Generally I don't take pictures of my food but everything here is so picturesque. My family and I absolutely rave about this place, for good reason. All the staff are kind and friendly, and the indoor seating is cozy and cute.

This is a hidden gem in the Tenderloin. I have only been here for brunch on the weekend and it’s usually packed but never had to wait that long. I usually go for the Fried Chicken and Waffle 🧇, my boyfriend enjoys the Farmers Classic. The latest time I went I tried the Breakfast Sandwich Croissant for a change and liked it (but could only finish half of it). It’s a definitely a cute brunch spot for a date. For this time of the year, they have big Christmas 🎄 inside the restaurant so you will feel extra warm eating your dishes 😊.

10/10 spot for a delightful meal! The service is quick even when it’s busy (came here for breakfast twice & take out for dinner)- and the presentation makes you happy to eat :) The brunch here is incredible and has yummy little Thai twists in flavor, and the Thai food for dinner is pretty solid! (Also the little bear in the drink is the Iced Carmel Macchiato)

This brunch spot was an easy walk from my hotel in Union Square. The food was wonderful. I tried the Thai Panang Omelet, and my friend got the Holy chili bomb basil omelet - both were outstanding. Great flavors, we would definitely come back!

Absolutely amazing all around! The best chicken and waffles we've ever had! Iced Latte's were fantastic too!

Went for brunch on Sunday. Good food (not great), good service. Very nice people in general. The salad next to my omelette had zero dressing, from the bag to my plate. The omelette was good. In general I would go again but not the Sunday brunch experience I was looking for.

Don’t let the descriptors on yelp throw you off. Lapisara has the best brunch close to the mark Hopkins. We waited less than 10 mins for a group of 4. When we sat down we found out two more were joining and they moved us to a larger table without complaining. I had the eggs Benedict and my girlfriend had the French toast. Can’t remember what everyone else had, but there were no complaints. Highly recommend the next time you are in town. Food and staff are top notch

My daughter and I decided to drop in for a quick dinner. I ordered the chicken waffle. To be honest, this was almost too pretty to eat. But I did give in. The waffles were light and fluffy with a crisp crust, the bourbon syrup and honey really added to the dish. The boneless chicken was crunchy with just a little heat. The fresh fruit really helped make the meal. My daughter, a picky eater, said the fries were delicious. They were perfectly made, crunchy, and full of flavor. The sandwich was well made, could have some more flavor but still delicious. Could not have asked for better service, the team was very helpful. The ambiance was mellow with suttle music playing in the background. The menu was very eclectic and we are looking forward to going back and trying a number of the dishes. Give it a try.

Amazing food and amazing service. I would come here every day if it wasn’t such a hassle to find parking in the city. Such personable staff and speedy service! It was my best friends birthday and not only did they give her a little birthday surprise, they offered her a little coin purse from their country. It was so kind!

Was one of the few locations around our hotel with mimosas and good reviews. Definitely didn’t disappoint! We got the eggs benedict with salmon, extremely good. Coffee was also very good and the service was so attentive. Tried to come here more often but lines were usually very long. Highly recommend regardless
