Worst bar experience of my life. Del Mar was a part of a NYE bar crawl, which people paid for ahead of time. The bar decided at 9 pm that they would no longer acknowledge the PRE-PAID wristbands that waive the cover fee. Tried charging a $50 cover on top of the wristband. We asked to speak to the manger because we figured there was some misunderstanding, but to make matters worse he was incredibly disrespectful to everyone in my party. Not only did he scream at us, but he would not speak to any of the women in the group, only acknowledging the men. I have never experienced such blatant misogyny and disrespect and would not have expected it to come from a San Francisco establishment. I will never be coming back and would encourage everyone to take their business elsewhere.

I went to the bathroom while one of the bartenders was there and he didn’t wash his hands after. There is no indication within the premises that they are washing hands but it’s concerning given that there seemingly are no rules about washing hands advertised. And no sink in the back of the bar either. Given that many of the drinks are crafted cocktails, just be wary of the bartenders who come back from the bathrooms.

Visiting for work and looked like a good place to have some drinks the bartender checked my friends and my ID ( obviously out of state not country) we are both over 21 and he asked for our passport. Well being only out of state we wouldn’t have that so we where denied service. Kind of disappointed we planned our day off around visiting this place.

The bartenders steal from customers. Teach your employees math. $20 minus 9 doesn't equal 7.

If I can give this place 0 stars I would. The bouncer Jake came up to us and said you guys have to leave we were at the bar top and we said we're waiting to pay for our tab. He came back 3 times harassing us and we kept repeating the bartender has not came up to us we are waiting to pay. He then proceeded to verbally insult us and I asked why he wasn't asking others on the bar top to leave and he said they were the "bar friends". The barentender finally came and was very kind and understanding however the bouncer made a scene for no reason. Unprofessional environment your better off going to a place where they won't racially profile you because that's exactly what it was.

It’s was decent. It was a little pricey for what we got. We ordered a few small plates and got a pitcher of margaritas which ended up being like $350/4 people. The ceviche was very good and definitely my favorite thing we had.

I absolutely loved this bar we hit up yesterday. Del Mar has so much character and uniqueness. The swings, hand carved flamingo wall decor in the woman's bathroom, the witty named cocktails were just a few of the very many details that stood out. Our bartender was super sweet and took time to make sure our cocktails were just perfect. So perfect that he had to take a picture of them (of course I did as well) and then took a picture of us with our cocktails. They offer a giant Jenga in the back of the bar and other board games at the bar that you can take to your table. Nice place for a date or to hang with a group of people

Staff was very unfriendly drinks were mediocre at best the decore was nice that was probably the only thing good here.

Everything here is delicious. Drinks, meals, staff and music, everything is 5 stars... Im always happy to come here. Im all about the Dibi and platanos (i forgot what they call platanos). Life is beautiful when you visit bisap baobab.

This is a great little bar for drinking and dancing with a fun tiki/jungle theme. They also have a selection of card games to play for free. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a good time! The bartender/owner is friendly and easy going.

Fun fact. It's a mini nightclub really. $5 cover and two drinks minimum for card. Young crowd. Very sweet drinks.

What a cool place, friendly staff and fun vibe. For starters tried the baobab Gambas- delicious. For main tried the ceebu Jen and the seafood coco. The first was amazing the seafood coco was a little too sweet of coconut for my taste but still good. A fun and lively experience. Would def come back!

super fun drinks and GREAT music. Think like all the 2000s bops and girl anthems. A great place for a night out with the girls. only complaint is the drinks are veerrrry pricey

This place was cool. My friends and I had a good time. Drinks were good, music was GREAT I think the DJ said his name was Empire or close to that. The swings were a cool touch. Vibe was good!

We treated ourselves to the delightful "Orange is the New Julius Slushies," a concoction of Tito's Vodka, Orange Juice, and Milk Vanilla. The drink was truly enjoyable, hitting the right notes of flavor. The atmosphere is electric, with a lively vibe that elevates the overall experience. The interior is undeniably charming, as depicted in the photo.

I’ve been here a few years ago pre pandemic and recently as well. The staff is always so fun and nice and the drinks are always on point for a tropical bar. Mystery shot was good. Go and have fun!
