Had one of the best brunches here. We had the Chorizo Benedict and blueberry pancakes. Outside seating area is also a nice place to bring our dog. Will hopefully be back again soon to try dinner 😋

delicious food and a good selection of dishes. a little shabby place, the furniture is already tired, giant cobwebs and dust hang on the walls and ceiling. but the food in this place is amazing, I recommend trying rice balls with wild mushrooms and Funghi pizza. there is also a happy hour with nice prices for aperitizers.

I've loved this place for years. Used to work at the Peet's a block away (RIP 1st & Howard!) and Jeff, the general manager of Local, was a regular of mine. He's such a warm and welcoming person. He encouraged me to visit the restaurant and I was hooked after my first experience. I used to go for their brunch, for which the prices are super reasonable for such tasty food and a great higher-end atmosphere. I now usually go for dinner, which is more expensive but still very much worth it. I've spent many birthdays here and I think it was for my 28th nearly ten years ago that Jeff let me book out the wine room, that room behind glass doors you see when you first walk in, without the spend minimum - I believe it holds 16. Very grateful for that. It was my favorite birthday of my 20s by far. They also have a more secluded area in the back for smaller parties which I've also used for more intimate dining experiences. Anyway, the food is great, love their pizzas, love their appetizers, their pasta dishes have been on point. I could go on! A favorite of mine in SF that I look forward to going to for years to come.

Stopped in here on a Sunday evening at the recommendation of our hotel. It did not disappoint! There is inside or outside seating. The drinks were impeccable! They have a wide variety of items on their menu. We had the Guinevere Pizza and it was so good! Tasty and filling! The service was the best we have had and everyone was so nice. I highly recommend stopping into this amazing restaurant!!

I highly recommend visiting this place; it is absolutely fantastic. The ambiance and decor are flawless, and I had the pleasure of sitting at the gorgeous and inviting bar. To start off, I ordered the Local chopped salad, and it completely surpassed my expectations. The ingredients were incredibly fresh, with crisp greens and delectable olives. The main course was nothing short of incredible. I opted for the Cacio e Pepe, and it left me in awe. The chicken was tender and paired perfectly with the freshly made pasta. I enjoyed the chicken so much that I devoured every last bite! The pasta itself was tender and bursting with freshness. What impressed me even more was the exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond by recommending a wine that paired perfectly with my meal. They even allowed me to sample a splash to ensure it was to my liking. The overall experience was outstanding. The staff was super friendly, the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was beautiful. I am definitely planning to return in the future.

Nice restaurant to have in our neighborhood. Tried their new menu (nov 2021) and the burger is delicious. It comes with a generous serving of fries and they give you both ketchup and mayo, the latter tasted like it was made in house. Usually I have to ask for mayo with my fries. Mushroom arancini is cheesy and super crunchy on the outside

Service was absolutely brilliant, great vibes especially the giant glass door at the entrance. I'd recommend just order pizza here, or from what I heard the burgers are decent too. However the shakshuka was quite a let down.. I've had a lot better in many other places in Europe. It felt like they just mixed the tomato and chickpeas and placed poached eggs on top.. lacking a lot of flavours and spiciness. But their pizza were nice.

This food never disappoints. We live right down the street and it is so convenient to stop by and pick up food on the weekend. They have an eclectic menu and yet EVERY SINGLE THING IS SO TASTY! highly recommend the mahi fish and the chicken cesar pizza. The service is top notch and they always make you feel special.

Great menu and cocktails. Good wine selection and inside atmosphere. Sitting outside is nice but quite noisy. The pomegranate lemon cocktails are delicious and the happy hour is very fairly priced

The Local Pizza was fantastic! Toasted in all the right places, soft and chewy dough insides with a crisp outside. Sauce tastes robust and well balanced with fresh herbs. Toppings of course are up to par as well. Highly recommend.

As someone who lives in the north east's "pizza belt" I expect a lot out of my pie. Had the pepperoni here and it was wonderful! Delicious fresh mozzarella, large slices of pepperoni and perfectly cooked in their wood oven! 10/10 would definitely recommend if you're looking for great pizza and beer!

Solid wine list, food is simple and tastes healthy; warm service. Love that there's 2 bars; good effort to dampen the sound off the beautiful high ceilings. Open kitchen, great lighting.

The brunch menu is delicious!! Really, really delicious. We started with drinks and the house made Bloody Mary is so yummy. We couldn’t decide on savory or sweet so we shared pumpkin pancakes to start, which are fluffy and divine w salted carmel and whipped cream. I’ve eaten a lot of pancakes and these are great pancakes. I had the wild mushroom creamy polenta which was amazing with the herbs and perfect poached eggs. My friends loved the eggs in purgatory too, I only got one bite and it was tasty bite. Service was friendly and great. Go and enjoy!

Delicious food. Staff was accommodating to us even though we pushed our reservation till later. Space is great. Cocktails were great. No complaints.

tucked into a tiny alley, this space is first rate. swipe a credit card and get a press club one at the entrance and you are good to go to charge up tastings, glasses, bottles, and bites. the chic concept lends itself to be a perfect place for entertaining business clients or just to meet friends before dinner.

Amazing dinner, drinks, and brunch! I love their pizzas, esp the mushroom one! 🍄 It's great to have so many veg options for my partner 🥰 (also hands down best parklets in downtown)

Nice spot, but didn't see much of the interior, had pizzas for takeout. Decent, I liked the sauce and cheese, but the crust was too chewy and we ate it without much delay from pick up.

Food is more than just something to eat, it's about satisfying your craving of a smell, texture, taste, and memories. Local kitchen used to be great, this is the second time that they miss to prepare a to go order on time, first time 60 min and second time 30min. If the quality of food was good, I would forget right after eating but the quality has degraded a lot, not sure why. Specifically tonight, the fungi pizza was horrible, lots of oil and an old oily cheese that smelled oily too. Too bad, I really liked this neighborhood kitchen.
