I've been a member for a little over a month and I've never regretted something so quickly. The membership is $250 a month - too much money for the issues I've dealt with thus far. First of all, I was double charged 5 days ago and I still haven't gotten my money back. If you have a job with regular hours, good luck finding a machine at rush hour and then after you work out, you have to wait in line for a shower and you are already dealing with an overcrowded locker room. The staff isn't helpful at all, which again, at $250 I'd expect a lot better customer service. There's no way I'm giving them my money for another year with this nonsense.

Can someone please explain to me why we're paying for close to $300 a month for a gym that doesn't open on weekends?? Fitness SF costs 1/3 as much, is just as nice, and opens at all times.

why pay close to $300 a month for a gym that doesn't open on weekends and has limited equipment? Fitness SF costs 1/3 as much, is nicer, and is open at all times. (Last sentence from another review but I agree)

One of my favorite equinox locations. Former exchange building gives it a unique feel- wide open space, high ceilings, locker rooms in the former vault. It even has a swimming pool.

I've been a member for over 4 years, I'm terminating my membership this month after multiple frustrating experiences with management. I tried to talk to the manager about cleanliness issues and overall lesser quality on the products like shaving foam and razor blades, not only my feedback was never addressed but when I emailed about other issues like billing or the latest increase of the membership fees, their responses were utterly unprofessional and rude. I have to say it's sad to see they neglect 100% it's members' feedback plus they have a terrible attitude about it. At least the current manager. I used to go to Equinox Sports club (on Market St) and never had any issues with management there. I'll take my monthly $300 elsewhere. The amenities, equipment, instructors, and classes are nice but management is simply terrible.

This gym is BEAUTIFUL. With how gorgeous this place is they really should be open on weekends. I visited this location from NYC and man all this space is a dream. They have so much equipment! Front desk was super helpful, place was spotless, locker room was DOPE.

Great gym. Big enough space for the amount of people that come in. The trainers are VERY good here as well. My only complaints are the closed weekend hours during covid, short weekday hours, and high price. The cost for personal training for 60 minutes is over 100 an hour for everyone, but I wish it was a lower cost especially for people who frequent customers. Pool could be a bit bigger too with space for only 3 lanes. Some common equipment is currently missing too like the machine for Captain's chair, smith machine, lying leg extension machine, etc. and they don't respond to new equipment requests so you have to do workarounds. I do like the open floor space on one side though. To other reviewers about the closed weekend hours: they allow you to go to sports club on market and van mission on the weekends so the weekend hour problem is moot.

It's a nice gym, but not great as far as Equinoxes go. It's fairly small and the intermediate-level weight training equipment is fairly limited (they're missing several items which are generally standard-issue at equinox, like a calf raise machine, setup for tricep dip and leg raises, and a barbell row machine). The only location I’ve been to without an Olympic weightlifting platform.

Quite possibly one of the most beautiful gyms you’ll ever see! Pretty open floor plan though there are some interesting choices in where the equipment is placed. Would definitely recommend visiting if during off hours as the setup can get cramped during peaks. Coolest part about the gym is that the locker rooms are in the actual vault

Well this is one of the best Equinox gyms in the Bay Area. Uniquely designed in the old SF Mint. Locker rooms in the old vaults look amazing, the best GM and GFM around. Sydney is always seen around talking to members and helping the club look amazing. Katie is so nice and supportive saw her talking to a member and the member was so happy and told me she was the nicest person in the building. Keep up the good work.

I was hesitating about my rating... This is a good-very good gym if we compare it to some of the 24h fitness or gold's in the city. It is the gym I frequent but I still think it is not the best in SF. I am missing some basic machines and a better location of exercising areas. Good for the Keihl's products and the fresh towels. The spa is not bad either...

The Equinox Pine Street has done a really superb job in providing at home daily workouts and very clear instructions on their phased reopening schedule! I love it and would recommend in a heartbeat!!

This is a very good Equinox location! Lots of free weight benches and equipment. Plenty of treadmills in good condition. Lots of space in the locker room and it was very clean as well. I don't live in the area but I will definitely be back while I'm in town.
