Bang for your bucks! I have tried their pizza slice - cheesy veggie. Totally delicious! Their sourdough crust has further enhanced the flavors. If you want to have tasty pizza, bread or pastries, this is definitely a place to try. All items are economical. They have everyday special pizza with organic seasonal veggies and other high quality ingredients. Don’t forget to order online if you want to have whole pizza of the day. They don’t have dine-in option but there are benches on the walkway to sit and eat. I will definitely go back to try their pastries!

A cute little bakery who with very efficient service. The baked goods are sweet but the pizza isn’t your standard Italian or American pizza (literally just a baked bread with stuff on top) but it’s good for what it is. Only small complaint would be that it’s not warm or toasted but then it wouldn’t be efficient. The two pizzas of the day are down below (mushroom one and a tomato one).

Another amazing place to stopped by while visiting the Golden Gate Park. The bakery is famous for its thin crust pizza from the oven and the pastries. It has Togo window service. You order from the window and pick up the order from the the doorway counter. There was a line when we visited. So, it’s better to order online before getting there, so you only stay on the pickup line.

Not the best day for me to try this spot. This place is always busy and I always avoided standing in line. This time there were just few people and I was able to order and grab my goodies within 5 minutes. While they have large selection of baked goods, the ones I got were not the best ones, none of them tasted fresh! I wasn’t sure if I had to reheat( esp the cheese roll), it was hard as rock. I’m pretty sure they taste amazing when freshly baked, just not the day I got them. Scones were good though.

Great prices and we loved the Bialy (poppy seed & onion) bread. We also tried a southwest focaccia slice and a brioche knot which were solid but I probably wouldn’t get them again. The Bialy was slightly salty which paired really well with the sweetness of the onions. I can only imagine how much better it would be warm, straight out of the oven. For the focaccia slice, I personally did not like the corn topping but feel that the other toppings available might be better. The brioche knot is very dense, slight cinnamon flavor, and also had golden raisins which I thought paired nicely (even though I don’t really like raisins). Great location a few blocks from golden gate park and there’s also a decent amount of outdoor seating in the parklet. Definitely want to come back and try the olive focaccia, jalapeño stick, and croissants.

Delicious fresh baked breads! I love everything I have tried. It's hard to pick a favorite. They are courteous to their customers. The line always moves fast. It's definitely worth the stop!

Hard to decide how to rate this place - it is traditional, the service is great but I don’t believe it stands the hype. Good overall. Didn’t try the pizza.

ARIZMENDI has seen better days, I think. The 9th Ave. location in SF only opens at 7:30am, kind of late for a bakery. Well, you go inside and want to have JUST ONE CROISSANT. Easy enough, ugh? OK, one croissant is 4 DOLLARS in Arizmendi! Then you would expect that is just made, delicious and very hard to beat, but it's really not. It is cold, sitting in the cabinet, probably made the day before. I think you guys should consider lower your prices and live up to your demanding customer's high expectations. -----> :-/

SF worker-owned bakery! Everything is hot and fresh and drop dead delicious. The pizza by the slice has great, fresh ingredients and is a good value. The sourdough is unbelievable. Such a wonderful addition to the neighborhood.

Family raved about this bakery and stated it's a must try! Just avoid mornings, lunch time, and right after work since the lines can get fairly long Food/Taste/Flavor: 4/5 - Four cheese focaccia was cheesy, moist, airy, and has a hint of olive oil taste. A slight sprinkle of parmesan cheese adds just a bit saltiness for you to want another bite. It is quite heavy though Brioche knot reminds us of the milk bread you can find at Asian bakeries. It has a sweetness that is heightened by the dried fruits inside and a richness that is so satisfying. The bread is really soft and can easily be torn into smaller pieces Scone of the day with dried fruits just couldn't compare to the brioche knot in terms of flavor or texture. While it's crumbly texture was wonderful, it needed some clotted cream to compete against the other items purchased Ambience: N/A - small window that you order to go from Service: 5/5 - quick and to the point. It was just after 5:00 PM before it for super busy and he was willing to answer questions and make recommendations Value for price: 5/5 - delicious bread, slightly pricey but worth it for satisfying any cravings

Love this bakery. I’ve been a loyal customer for 5+ years since moving into the inner sunset. My favorites are pumpkin muffin. Faccica rounds. Baguettes with seeds. Shortbread cookies. Croissants. PIZZZZZA!! The lines get long and popular items sell out quickly. Street parking only. Super friendly and professional staff. The bakery makes a ton of special/ seasonal / cakes and items to celebrate an array of festivities. Ranging from PRIDE to king cakes and lunar new year items. Super experience every time.

Arizmendi is Awesome! They have a great selection of baked goods all displayed through the window to choose from, bread, croissants, scones, muffins but also some savory stuff like focaccia. I've tried a few different items and they all taste great. I always love savory pastries but even their sweet dough "chocolate things" turned out quite delicious to me. Service is friendly and fast (there is usually a line but it moves fast), and prices are very reasonable. Lovely sunny parklet in front of the shop but otherwise Golden Gate Park is just one block away!

I had a few pastries today and two were great but one was really really bad. I had the chocolate chip mint cookie which was awesome and the bilaly with onions atop were great and fresh out of the oven. But the brittle cookie I ate was not just brittle. It was so dry it tasted like very very stale and nearly indelible. Very quick in and out of the bakery, got there with no line mid-afternoon

Definitely one of the best bakeries in town for I don't know how long! Kind of addicted to their pecan rolls, and my partner to the brioche knot. But I would eat more of their delicious selection if my body could afford the calories.

I like the profit sharing idea behind Arizmendi but this particular pizza that I had was very oily which I didn't like. The muffins that we tried were a bit dry too. I will go back again though to support them and give it another chance.

Wonderful neighborhood bakery — it is a self-service method (grab a piece of tissue paper and gather the baked goods you want). The coffee offerings are a bit limited (coffee and lattes primarily) — but the beverages are delicious! Happy to see the gluten-free options — scones, muffins, and even a brownie. Tried the GF carrot muffin which was delicious — would definitely recommend this spot if you’re looking for a GF baked treat. A lot is probably not celiac friendly, but the team definitely could answer questions about the offerings.
