I have been to this place before the renovation and ownership change and just had my first experience after the change and even though they have really made some nice changes to the decor, the food quality took a hit. The menus is no where near what it used to be. The food lacked flavor, and the scramble I ordered was runny and not hot in temperature at all. I did not finish my meal. I ordered a scramble with spinach and mushrooms with a side salad. They should say mixed greens instead of salad. I was expecting more veggies with my “salad”, but it is what it is. I feel the menus is overpriced for portion size. The old menus was way better and had way more options. This place is gentrified just like most of SF and had become a hipster haven. As a native San Franciscan, I feel this place has declined after the ownership change and the food lacked flavor. The highlight of my meal was the coffee and side of fruit. Now even though the server was attentive and made sure she took some money off the bill for my dissatisfaction, I feel that they could really take some pointers and even some menus items from the previous owner. My girlfriend and I were very excited for this place to open back up only to be disappointed with the food. I would not recommend after my second visit. There are better places in the Richmond district and sunset district that are easier on the pockets.

No nonsense breakfast place. Efficient service that you order at the window then get to your table. Food tasted great - hue is rancheros had perfectly crunchy tortillas. Only wish is for a hotter sauce.

Interesting concept: order and pay before entering; actually worked quickly. Received my Spinach Portobello Benedict with salad instead of potatoes. Perfect poached egg with crisp salad in a heavenly light vinaigrette. It was/is a good choice.

Food was a 20/10- amazingly delicious!! The service was nice, friendly and super attentive! We went there on Sunday morning and were lucky to get a table, the place is really busy and if you try tue food you know exactly why. It was quite loud there Sonde the Style is also a little rustic - but the food was amazing! Definitely more than a hyped place, but really worth a visit!

Nice little breakfast place with a cozy atmosphere. The food came out of the kitchen piping hot and the service from the staff was outstanding. We never had to ask for coffee refills it was always just there. The portion sizes are generous and we left the restaurant full and satisfied.

Good indie breakfast spot. Pancakes & waffles are a level or two above IHOP, and breakfast selections are creative and tasty. You'll wait a while here especially if you show up on a weekend; service is slow but the food is very good.

New owners and new menu as of fall 2023. Food is more expensive and completely different. The new fried egg sandwich is such a worse experience than the old breakfast sandwich. Looks pretty, tastes good - but everything was so wet and slippery with one bite the sandwich completely fell apart- yolks going everywhere… I really miss the old simple scramble breakfast sandwich - it was one of the best of the cities.

I've been to Eats twice since it reopened. The first time was great and the second time was even better. The place looks inviting, clean and warm. The staff were friendly and on top of it and the food was timely and delicious. I've had the breakfast sandwich, fried chicken sandwich, and the maitake eggs. They were all very tasty, even the side salad was seasoned & dressed perfectly. The coffee was spot on and my cup never ran out. The new chef/owner is there overseeing everything and has recreated a great spot with a great team

Best breakfast I’ve had in a while! Our server Sam was great!!! The potato’s were incredibly flavorful and seasoned amazingly with fresh herds! The breakfast sandwich is messy but a must have! Highly recommend AND they have outdoor seating so you can bring your fur baby!

You order outside before entering, which was fine. Food came quickly enough. Would not go back though. There was very little service, e.g no offer of coffee refill. The food was just okay, and portions were small (everyone of the 5 of us completely and quickly cleaned their breakfast plate, which is unusual for us). It was very cold, probably because of the wide open window. Directly behind us was the open kitchen where they were blasting music which would have been tolerable except they were blasting different music in the restaurant! I understand this place is popular, maybe because of the inexpensive mimosas? Just depends on what you're looking for.

Good cooking & nice portions! Casual indoor & outdoor seating, street parking. Friendly service. 👍 SPINACH PORTABELLA BENEDICT: Poached egg, hollandaise on thick slice of fluffy brioche + side of roasted potatoes.

Food was great but pacing was awkward -- it took over 10 minutes for our party of 4's food to make it to the table. Alcoholic drinks came out right away but coffee drinks didn't arrive until we were almost done with our meals with no explanation (???). Dog friendly patio.

Really like this breakfast spot in Inner Richmond. You order outside and then wait to be seated. We sat inside because there was a bit of breeze but the food came up really quickly, so we definitely could have eaten outside with a jacket. We got the Bacon Breakfast Sandwich and Tri tip Breakfast burrito. Both of these were delicious and great to split! Highly recommend the burrito - I will definitely come back (or order for delivery) to get this burrito again in the future. Everyone we interacted with was really nice as well. We only had to wait about 10minutes to place our order outside so it was a relatively quick breakfast. Note - We visited on a Saturday morning. If you visit on Sunday during the Farmers Market, the line might be longer than it was for us. Highly recommend

The service, customer service and care is amazing. Really genuine. But the breakfast was ok. Pancakes and waffles didn't have much taste and were a bit dry. The breakfast potatoes were also cold and chewy. But I would go and give it a chance again.

Just came last week for breakfast. At first, it seems like a regular American breakfast place, but it’s not. Everything is so well executed. My potatoes were so crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Omelette had perfect proportions and flavor.
