I like this mall a lot and it’s always a great place to go with friends. All the food is great and reasonably priced, especially for a mall. The movie theater inside is nice as well. The layout of the mall is slightly confusing and the bathrooms are awkwardly placed and hard to find. There is so much parking and multiple parking lots.

First time shopping at Stonetown Galleria Mall. Very nice mall with good selections of shopping stores and food courts. Main reason for my visit is to buy BTS merchandise for my daughter. Yep! she went 🤪crazy. For the huge fans of KPOP this store made it easy. Fun trip!

Third days it’s opened since Corona, many stores still closed , many people come for foods and drinks Update 9/17/2023 The mall is so alive, the businesses are back. Many new stores like daiso etc. The food court is crowded. The theather makes it even better beside the wholefoods.

Stonestown is a beautiful, lively mall to shop in with plenty of restaurants, clothing stores, a wide variety of boutique stores, video games, Regal movie theater, and more! There are also large chain businesses: Target, Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, Sports Basement, Chase and Citibank, City Sports, and McDonald's. The Cafe Food Court on the 2nd level of Stonestown Galleria is a convenient place to go for food and drinks from your choice of several great international fast food restaurants. This well-maintained food court has plenty of seating, clean restrooms, sweeping views of the mall, and scenic bay windows in the back. I enjoy coming here for a delicious meal and for a relaxing break from shopping! Stonestown Galleria is conveniently located next to public transportation (MUNI and SamTran), too.

I didn't realize Target closed at 6pm. I had parked at the Target parking structure. It wouldn't normally be an issue but I had surgery and was in a wheelchair. A young, black male security employee escorted us back to our car. He was very nice and helpful. The weather was not the greatest. It was raining off and on. My wheelchair on an incline started going backwards and he came to the rescue. I wish I would of gotten his name. Thank you. Your help to our car was much appreciated.

Stonestown Galleria in San Francisco is a well-organized shopping center with a mix of popular retailers and dining options. The recent renovations have brought a refreshed and modern feel to the mall. It caters to a diverse audience with a variety of stores, from fashion to electronics. The presence of a cinema and ample parking enhance the overall convenience for visitors. While it may not be as large as some other malls, Stonestown Galleria provides a pleasant and accessible shopping experience in the heart of San Francisco.

It's a huge mall with wide array of shops. Better come prepared so you don't waste your time and energy 😊 Park where you would shop then move your auto if decide going to the other end, because it's going to be a very long walk with your loads if you didn't.

A decent mall that keeps it itself relevant. Not to say there aren't some empty shops here. But with the anchor businesses I need and use like Target, Whole Foods, and a good movie theater, Stonestown Galleria keeps me coming back.

I can’t stress enough how much this mall has been through. I want to say 5 stars because of the nostalgia but honestly the stores here don’t really wow me as much as the days when it had Limited Too, Sanrio . And then as I grew up and got over it they took out Nordstrom and Macy which now I don’t really know what the staple of this mall it looks like it’s your one shop stop for everything since they have to main groceries store which makes parking more difficult. It seems like they have more restaurants than good retail stores that I’ll actually go into.

This mall changed a lot, lots of new stores, I issued to remember every store it had and remembered where it was located, now I’m lucky to even know what store I end up inside of. It used to be super fun to go to while I was a middle schooler. Now it’s just depressing to go to the mall knowing I can’t afford anything at any store. Would mostly come here to grab food and go home. Target used to be a Borders Bookstore, and it was the meet up spot to meet up friends, and then I would read the books while waiting. I remember being super sad when Borders closed down. But, If they were to take out Borders and replace it with any store, I’m glad they replaced it with Target.

I remember this mall was a destination mall to shop for clothing. Now it’s a destination place to eat! Unfortunately no more Macy’s or Nordstrom’s. Now there is a better movie theater and an expensive grocery store. If you are hungry and want some food/dessert then Stonestown is your place.

Great place to shop and everything is available. The prices are high, but normal in San Francisco. I visited when I was a student at San Francisco State University and found many great products. Always sign up for their free memberships at the stores, they have discounts and birthday gifts or coupons.

Love what's happening at Stonestown lately. While the stores are fine and typical mall fare, the best part of this mall is the new Regal, Sorts Basement, and upcoming Whole Foods - a much better use of the space than the old department store. The mall itself is clean and well-kept, though parking can be pretty chaotic.

Great safe mall. Free parking. Lots of good stores & some good eats. I like Sorabel Korean food in the Food Court. Farmers' market! It is nice to walk around an inside mall . Add a Tonymoly, Skinfood, & Aritaum stores. Jade Galore is a 1st rate jewelry store. Wei Lau is a fine sales consultant there. January, 2022: I love the new Whole Foods. I also like how I can buy a slice of 🍕 & candy at WF & bring it into the new Regal Theater 🎥 😋.

Mall is fine and looks great, but the security has some issues. The main issue is their inability to keep those without masks from entering the mall when it is currently mandated and there are signs posted at the entrances. Early today I saw security personnel look directly at someone without a mask, not eating or drinking, as he walked passed him. I see at least a few people without a mask each time I visit the mall. They used to have security stationed at the entrances to enforce the mandate, but I do not know why they are not doing it anymore or even bothering to remind people to put their masks on unless they were actively eating or drinking

This is probably the most tourist heavy area of San Francisco. Most of the shops here at Stonestown Galleria are small little souvenir type stuff and many of the stores are nationwide chains you'd find in other similar tourist centers in popular cities. Come here once to say you were at Stonestown Galleria, but there are better and more interesting areas of San Francisco to explore.

This shopping galleria is very clean and you definitely feel safe shopping here. The place is very beautiful and the staffs were very polite and friendly. They have programs like Easter Egg Hunt, etc. (Very Nice) The guards and other staffs are friendly. The galleria observes health protocols properly. So, I enjoyed shopping and eating here. The parking space is not so crowded. I love strolling here and see what's new to this mall. I will recommend this shop to all of my family and friends.

y’all need to better designate Absolute Clown parking. I was nearly blocked into my handicapped parking spot. Peep the third photo of what the lower floor of the garage, that you have to pass thru to exit, looked like.

This mall went through quite a number of changes. I wish they have more shops too since Gap and H&M closed. Now all they have are Zara, Uniqlo, and a big Apple Store. Oh and they also have a Target, a Whole Foods and a movie theatre.

What a bustling and energetic mall! Stonestown is absolutely packed with everything for the window shopper, diner, clothing-seeker, to everyone in between. Even if you don't have anything to buy, it is worth a stop here every once in a while. At the very least, it is a pleasant reminder that malls are not dead and that large crowds will still come out just to shop together and get that unique "mall experience."

This mall has all the chains one can imagine and has only been growing. Conveniently located right off the Muni station it has Apple, Sephora, Aveda, Tmobile, Verizon, Zara. Good collection of eating places too : Chipotle, Blaze Pizza, Udon noddles, Peet's coffee. There is an entrance into Target and the Target within Stonestown is huge. The Trader Joes is 2 mins away and is one of the finest Trader Joes you can find in the Bay Area. Stonestown is a one stop shop for all your needs. Parking is becoming a headache increasingly, it can take upto 10 mins to find parking outside or you need to head underground.

Galleria?? Let's not get overzealous, and how about we just call it a mall? I give Stonestown 3 stars because this is the first BASC that I have rated. Maybe my parameters will ebb and flow as I make my way across the Bay. Stonestowm has a Van's store that was attentively staffed by two very pretty and very observant Latino women. I was irritated bc I was trying on some sweet waterproof Van boots (TOP notch, although only one size on hand.. 10 1\2.. my size😆). These were the type of footwear that could help your feet fly as you walk ever so inconspicuous. The irritated looking ex-cop security guard standing right outside the door was a bad vibe... I was too late for my mission, for I am in possession of some rare and unique memorabilia. My destination, a collectibles store within stonestown, was closing. This came as a bitter relief, given the nature of my current predicament. It would be a wise move to take the night to study exactly what kind of approach I will take when I return to make my exchange. As seasoned professionals in the industry, I expect to receive a fair price for my pokemon card. First Edition Holographic Charizard. Then there is Sports Basement. Too bad that huge warehouse of outdoor apparel and sporting goods closes earlier than the rest of the place because it is just the place to find some killer gear at a cheap price. The staff are very friendly and don't hover intently, making an otherwise relaxing shopping experience uncomfortable and rushed. No, this place lets you peruse at your leisure.

Beautiful mall...lots of great stores and food court. Two story mall. Plenty of escalators, and elevators, Plenty of parking, handicap parking and entrance to mall. Friendly workers, helping you and answering your questions with a smile on their face, Plenty of restrooms, security and places to sit. Very clean mall.

We have shopped at Stonestown for decades...it was terrific - easy parking - Nordstrom was great- the Emporium was a classic...there were many shops - ( Apple, The Gap...) - after being away for couple of years- and was blown away. The "Mall" is crammed with stores...(quantity not quality) the parking lot, at 10 am, is packed. Scores of people are - shopping, or walking - or dining...They call it "premier" - hardly. They claim 100 stores...really? So congested and crammed. Been there...never again.

It’s a nice big shopping mall in the city. Parking is usually not bad. They have mochi donuts and matcha ice cream too! And also have variety of stuff to do like Zara, Uniqlo, express, cotton on clothes shops and also cute shops like lush and Kokoro. They also had tons of candy.

This is an accessible high-end mall. I window shop mostly other than visit food offerings. I tend to shop for groceries closer to home near Market Street. The mall is a hangout for Cal State San Francisco students, which is not far from there. It's also across the street from a branch of the San Francisco Public Library. It has a Citibank, McDonald's, Trader Joe's, Target, and Whole Foods anchoring the mall, driving up the traffic. These have outside access. The stores that have inside access are supposedly trendy: Zara, Uniqlo, tons of options for prepared meals and snacks. There is also an Apple store. It is also accessible to the Muni's M train and numerous bus lines.

Stonestown Galleria is a good mid-size shopping mall with a fairly good public transport access via the M-Tram and several bus lines. There is a movie theater, several sit-down and fast food restaurants and a good variety of retail outlets. It's good to have mid-sized Trader Joe's Market here too.

Lots of chain stores, a few local ones as well. Indoors, feels spacious and open. A little hard to find your way around though there are a few maps posted. Groceries, banks, shoes, clothes, jewelry, cafes; lmost anything you need or want, you could spend your whole day here. Plenty of outdoor parking as well as a parking structure.

The facility is clean and bright. You will of course be chased by the mid-aisle sales person trying to convince you to buy their product. It is simply a mall. Not my jam but nice enough for what it is.

It’s conveniently located, has an Apple Store, a Victoria’s Secret, an 85 degree bakery, and an Aveda. It would be nice if this mall had a Macy’s again or a JC Penney or something as there’s a lot of empty space on both ends. I wish the movie theatre was connected to the mall as well instead of behind it. Overall I like this mall. It’s small and cute.

There is a store for I think almost everyone here. It has changed throughout the years. More modern and upscale. Alot to see here! Very nice place to eat and shop!! I loved it!! There's a pizza place that actually does it all before your eyes as you wait. The PLUS in this is, the pizza is also on the healthier side with healthier crust and topping and it looks and smells soooooo good!!

Very beautiful place indeed. I was in a coma for over 5 months and recently woke up. I was very hungry so I came to my favorite mall to grub. On my way there I was harassed by other people in the area and they were saying such peculiar things as “put a mask on” and “stay at home”. It was very mean but as I arrived it seemed as though there weren’t as much people around and business seemed slow. Nonetheless I walked in and went to my very favorite place, Panda Express. I assumed I came too early yet I was hungry so I couldn’t help myself but eat. A security guard found me rummaging through the supplies and I was arrested on the spot! Some people!

My childhood mall, so I'm always gonna love it, regardless of how many changes happen. Less crowded than most of the other malls in SF since it's on the outskirts. Now that there's a Whole Foods and Trader Joe's, there are also healthy food options in addition to the mall food court lol. I genuinely miss Nordstrom, Bebe, & Wet Seal, but I guess nothing can stay the same & it can't be the early 2000s forever. If you need a quick city mall run and don't want to be bothered by all of the city rush, this is the mall to go to.

Great mall to take the family to on a cold and rainy day.... However, beware that certain stores (i.e. Target) is not connected to the main mall so you'll have to walk outside to get to one another. The mall underwent an extensive renovation a few years ago, and is much more modern and welcoming now, with new stores, cafes and even an Apple retail store now.

I hadn't been to Stonestown mall in over 20 years.... didn't realize that Macy's had closed. The smaller stores are a nice and needed change. Will definitely return before another 20 years!

The kids love coming here and watching the sea lions. They are a very interesting creature--you could probably write a book about animal behavior just standing there and watching them on the barges. The rest of Stonestown Galleria is super touristy but there are some good restaurants. The chocolate store is pretty amazing and has something for every kind of chocolate craving.

If your idea of fun is walking around a huge gift shop, then this is your place. Beyond that, Stonestown is a commercial fueled tourist trap. everything is overpriced, hokey in concept, and forgettable once you buy it. The only redeeming quality is how busy and exciting the crowds usually are. This is a great place for people watching. There are also a few cool things scattered around, like a 5 dollar maze and a staircase that plays musical notes.

Great mall. A lot of teenagers, places to shop and a lot of food options. I enjoy this location because of the accessibility. At first it’s bit overwhelming if you’re looking for one store. The majority of the people are kindly and friendly.

My first visit since it opened. I was very impressed at how nice and secure it is. Even during covid it's clean. Only thing is they need more cashiers and more variety of candy.

Nice mall, has the university near it so it stays pretty busy, especially on the weekend. Great choice of food/snacks here. Plus you got whole food and a gym, nice location overall. It's just a bit small but still better then most malls with it being so alive.

Shopping here is like at home. You got what you need and enjoy it within. Beautiful place and the staffs are very friendly. They are observing health protocols and of course the place is very clean. I am enjoying this place when I need to unwind from the stress of life. So, If you want to destress? Just come here and you will experience a stress-free moment. Parking space is not so crowded. I will recommend Stonestown Galleria to all of my relatives and friends who are very fond of mall hopping. Let's shop and dine.

This mall was recently remodeled. Now has a big Regal movie theatre (with 12 screens) a big Sports Basement and a big Whole Foods in addition to lots of stores and restaurants. Lots of parking so you shouldn't have a problem finding one.

This place used to be my favorite place to shop as family enjoyed eating and spending time around. But after they installed the eating area in the middle of the mall, Christmas Tree had no place for it anymore. The ambiance of being a wonderful place to go to, especially during Xmas holidays season, the place becomes an eatery place now and does not look like a great place to go anymore.

As malls lose their way, this one has continued to stay relevant. Shifting into a large Japanese and Asian flaired upscale mall has been a great change and suits the neighborhood. Keep your belongings out of the car though. It's not terrible but occasionally there are break ins.

Having evolved from the times when the center was anchored by Macy's, Nordstroms, and the Olive Garden, it has maintained relevance with a Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, Regal Cinema, large Chain Gym, and a number of small boutique stores. One of my favorites is Typo. The food court offers the usual wide variety of foods and you can still find just about anything you might be shopping for.

Parking is advisable in the back lot. It's faster and easier. Many stores from candy to clothes. A decent food court and a huge whole foods market alongside a sports basement store. Also a movie theatre. It's quite a versatile shopping centre great for all ages. Diverse and wonderful staff to accommodate you if needed

Besides the pretty cool added bonuses of a Regal Cinema, Whole Foods, Trader Joe's and Target here, it's pretty much your typical mall with all the places you'd expect to be in one. There's some nice places to eat and some cool little shops here and there, but don't expect anything too extraordinary.

The mall is well-maintained, clean, and offers a wide variety of stores and restaurants. The location is also convenient, making it a great destination for a day of shopping.

It's limited amount of big name stores is countered by a small friendly environment. The Muni stops close enough if you need to use it. And Citibank on the site is convenient as well as there's a Target Uniqlo and a few other small places like forever 21 so on so forth so there's a variety shopping and it's clean well kept mall. It's nice for a day of shopping and family outings

Good mall. Maybe even a great mall. The improvements and updates and retail outlets are a VAST improvement. I never went to Stonestown except for a movie every 5 years or so. Now I find myself going there because many errands can be accomplished in the same trip. HOWEVER, the parking is ABYSMAL. There isn't enough, for one thing, but the REAL PROBLEM is that it is not designed for the amount of traffic it serves. Navigating through the main lot is absolute CHAOS. Avoid it. Take the bus. Or park in the lot across the main entrance/exit road near the Chase Bank and McDonald's. You will have to walk the length of the parking lot to get the Mall's main entrance, but you will be a happy shopper - instead of a stressed out mess with a terrible headache.

One of the last classic malls in SF. With westfield in downtown closing, stonestown is a rarity. Hopefully crime wont ravage this mall too. Love the shops and the Regal theater here.

This is a smaller indoor mall with a nice selection of places to eat and shop. Not like Westfield so it does not have high end stores. Everytime we have come here, it seems like a chill place to hang out, window shop, and enjoy a good selection of places to eat. There is a regal cinema but have not been. We enjoyed the following places recently: Marugame Udon - always would go to the one in Waikiki, but now it's here! Kuru Sushi - the prices higher than Sawtelle Japan Town but the quality is consistent! Wait was a lot less than at Cupertino location Uncle Tetsu - love their light and fluffy cheesecakes!

Great mall in an era of dying indoor malls. The Movie Theater on the premises is fantastic. Reason I knocked off a star is they took a prime corner spot at the mall and allowed Citibank to move in, does a bank really need to be at the mall? Such a weird place to put bank branches, keep it food or retail.

Nice mall with a lot of stores. I love that Target and Trader Joe’s are inside. When we went, a lot of the restrooms were closed or hard to fine. Also, they had no baby changing area.
