Nice market with food places inside. Ideal for young professionals in the area. At the time we visited the coffee shop had shuttered (since Tweeter staff will not come back to the offices upstairs). Didn't see bathroom for customers (a sign said they had no bathroom) so we had to go to the hotel right after. One thing we noticed missing from other reviews was sitting areas (they do have tables and sitting inside the market in several areas)

I always come here for a slice of pizza. Today, I've decided to go with a burger. The burger is large, so I've decided to cut it in half and eat the other half later, just to find out the burger is raw inside, in fact still icy inside. I had to throw it all away. I work 6 blocks away, and I've only had 20 minutes left. I didn't have time to return it and come back. The number they've provided on their website doesn't work. So I decided to email them. I got a quick response from the manager, my money was refunded and she also was kind enough to provide me with another burger. So instead of the initial 1 star, I'm changing it to a 3 because their pizza are delicious. If you are getting the burger, I definitely recommend you to open them to make sure they are properly cook before heading out the door.

They should update their hours with Google. They are now closed on weekends. There were 6 of us at the doors leaded by Google on a Saturday 5.50pm. It was closed

Local-feeling market loved by those living in the area as a niche-food and restaurant location. Lots of small eateries inside, security that is roaming around creating a much safer-feeling atmosphere than directly outside, neighboring Twitter, hotels, and theaters. Great place to grab a quick bite to eat before going to Orpheum Theater or exploring market street. Note that the pizza location is closed until later in February... but the Korean place turned out to be really good as well!

I decided to check out the hot food here since I needed something quick and vegan. I figured it’s a health food store so they will have some options. I was told they can make me a beyond burger. No Dairy free cheese or any plant based options and then they put mayonnaise on it when it was requested as vegan and non dairy! obviously they just threw it together without even trying for $15

Great place to link up with friends for a great variety of bites and drinks. If you’re like me, love food way too much, and want to try everything, this can be tough. I ended up trying the pizza, gelato and dessert and it was all fantastic. Pizza by the slice is a great value considering how massive the slice is. If you’re a meat lover, go for the Sicilian Fratellanza. You won’t regret it!

Great place to have lunch. As a tourist I didn't know what to order. I saw several people with a big bowl and decided to order it aswel. The taco bowl is amazing. The market itself is great. Easily accessible.

"World's Most Expensive Bodega" 100% saw a mouse running through the store this morning when I needed to pick up a couple things. Everything is so expensive, and the selection continues to dwindle.. especially if you are vegan/vegetarian. Many of the shops and features that made this place semi worth it have been closed down indefinitely.

I brought three “healthy” food boxes from the refrigerated foods to the counter. The cashier pointed out that one box was bulging and could signal spoilage, so I passed on it. The second one, a buddha noodle bowl, was sweet and inedible. Chalked it up as a loss. Then a day later (yesterday) as I opened this to heat up, noticed mold spores growing on top of it despite the exp date being 10/25. The cashier kindly pointed out that I should keep the receipt “just in case”, which was a bit peculiar in all my experiences in grocery shopping. I passed on it. In hindsight, it’s obvious now. I messaged the store before posting here, thinking they would reply, but they didn’t.

Horrible horrible horrible customer service. I got there a little bit before 7pm and was told that they are closed. The store listings say they are open until 8pm the store hours posted on the windows of store also says that they are open until 8 but they say that they closed at 7. I had a package delivered to there Amazon lockers I didn't even want to shop and they claimed that Thier systems are down so she wouldn't be able to enter in my information. Unless they got some different kind of lockers, since when did she have to enter in anything herself. I show the barcode on the scanner and then a locker will unlock.. also I have worked in retail I have never known any kind of establishment for that matter to be offline that fast. I got to the door like I said before 7 like 6:57 I have never known for a register to be floated in under 15 minutes even if they didn't make no money the whole day

Mixed experience...got followed by their cringey security guard and questioned about my shoes (why?). Made me uncomfortable because I knew the real intention behind that convo wasn't friendly... The sandwich they made me was alright and the guy at Slice of Pizza did me a solid by making it after they had just wrapped up. I appreciate that. I guess the Market's fine if you don't mind being profiled and having most of the food options gone 3-4 hours before closing. It's convenient for me so I'll try the ramen next time and order ahead of time so I can get out quickly w/o raising suspicions 🙃.

The recession is affecting everything. The burger at this place has gotten 50% smaller for the same ridiculous price of $16. They should at least rename it to 50% Burger. Thank God I got extra condiments, coz apparently that's how I'm going to get full for today's lunch

Everything here is pricy, but that's San Francisco --- isn't it? Grocery store with a variety of food stores: poke, ramen, tacos, filipino and korean food --- + a self serve food bar with salad and other snacks/dishes. After eating at several of the shops, I think the trick is just to get a couple boxes from the self service area; a salad with whatever else tickles your fancy. They had some "small batch"... "artisanal"... meringues from Redwood City --- and they were quite good. Shared them with all my coworkers; they were not overly sweet; they were crispy without crumbling to smithereens.

I love the market and all the vendors, but someone gave me a gift card from the market last year and they won’t accept their own gift cards. I’ve had to make multiple trips during work hours to try to get reimbursed, but have been given the runaround. I voiced concerned that the market will close soon and they don’t have any money to reimburse me, but they denied this.

Great place to have a healthy lunch or dinner or to pick up specialty groceries - it has a Whole Foods vibe. They have several food hall style options (poke, Italian, Filipino etc) as well as a salad bar, hot food bar, and they serve alcohol. Great place to meet up with friends for dinner and a drink before heading out to a show (it’s close to the theater district/opera/ballet etc).

Sad barometer for the state of the area. I remember this place was packed and full of energy, the wine bar two deep. Amazing curated selection of consumables. Now....
