Beautiful hotel and rooms. There was no microwave or fridge in my room but maybe you can request rooms with those amenities. Valet parking is $85 per night which seemed a little high to me but other than that great experience. Friendly staff and hotel in nice area.

Best hotel experience I’ve ever had. We were visiting from Florida and stayed here for 3 days. When we arrived late at night, valet was right outside and assisted us immediately. Check in was super easy and the front desk people were very nice. The room was as clean as could be, beds super comfortable, we slept like rocks. This hotel was close to many places (walking distance to Chinatown and stores/restaurants). Complimentary waters and coffee/tea. The best surprise was on the day of check-out, they held our bags for free at the front desk (since our flight wasn’t until later and there has been problems with car break-ins in San Francisco, so we didn’t want to leave them in the car). Valet was fast every time as well. And Housekeeping also did a really great job each day. I would definitely stay here again!

The service at this Omni was outstanding, really. Everyone was so kind, accommodating, friendly, helpful and they kept giving us free waters which is a small thing but so appreciated! It’s also a lovely, charming hotel. Great water pressure. Centrally located. We’d definitely recommend to anyone.

We traveled into SF and stayed at the Omni for our extended wedding weekend and it was a wonderful experience! They automatically upgraded us from a king bed to a full suite with a living space and a bedroom. Everything from the housekeeping, front desk, door persons, etc were very very kind and always ready to help. The hotel was able to accommodate a block room for our guests. We will absolutely be back!

Great historic hotel with fantastic service and good location. Unfortunately the floor was very creaky, and the walls are paper thin. Not to mention there was quite a gap between the floor and the entry door. I went for work, they provided a happy hour for us and the hotel staff did a magnificent job.

More a business hotel within the financial district. But works for couples too. Grand old marble staircase and lobby set the tone. Room size was good. Clean and comfy bedding. Perhaps minor grumble about number of towels. Staff we encountered were friendly and chatty. Perhaps expensive but perhaps paying for the area. Which felt safe compared to some areas other hotels are located in San Fran!

We just spent our wedding weekend here as family & friends were visiting from out of town. We originally chose this hotel because it was the most affordable stay within the location we were looking for. When we got to the hotel, we were immediately greeted by the Darryl, the doorman, singing to us and setting the vibe for the whole stay honestly! Jolene helped to keep all of our group in rooms as close as possible and when we arrived they were clean and very accommodating to early arrivals. The location was perfect and the staff were so helpful with all of our needs throughout the stay. Special shout out to Jolene, Brett, Darryl, Adam, & Housekeeping for all of your help, patience, and amazing vibes all weekend! We couldn't have picked a better place to stay in the City to celebrate our new life together!

I stay at the Omni every other month for business travel. This will be my last. I booked a premium king room for my week stay. The only room they had was one facing the wall of another building. I asked if they had any other rooms available so I wouldn’t feel so claustrophobic and they said I could get a better view if they downgraded my room. I agreed to downgrade as I didn’t want to stare at a wall my entire stay. They did not pay back the difference but stuck me in a room on the very lowest floor where the sounds of the street kept me up for hours the first night. (Beware if you’re booked on the lower floors, there is a parking garage with a weight that sounds off every time a car passes through). At that point, the stay still was salvageable and I wouldn’t have written a review if it had not been for THE PUBES (PLURAL) I FOUND IN THE LINENS. Photo attached for reference. Absolutely disgusting and speaks to the cleanliness of the place. I called the front desk to let them know and they asked me what I would like them to do about it?! I asked them to come change the linens at the very least. This was around 3pm. They sent someone up to clean my sheets and I headed out to finish up my work day, get dinner and came back to the hotel to turn in early as I had an early and packed day the following day. I fell asleep around 9pm only to have someone from the front desk wake me up sometime after 9:30pm to ask me how I was doing post the dirty sheets debacle. I was half asleep in answering the call and told them so to which they hung up. They never followed up again. I guess it only makes sense to check in that late in the night. One of my worst hotel stays ever. There are some things I can compromise for a business stay, cleanliness is not one of those things. There are many hotels in the area that have much quality control and better service, I would opt for those.

Great spot, right on the California Street cable car line. Spent a week in a double deluxe room in October with our two year old and though the room wasn't huge by most standards, it was plenty big enough. It was also incredibly soundproof. Staff was top notch, from the doormen that sang to our little boy, to the housekeeping staff that worked around our odd schedule, I'd recommend laying your head on the fluffiest pillows ever at this classic San Francisco accommodation.

My wife and I celebrated our wedding in San Francisco and we could not stay anywhere else. We stayed in the Pony Express Suite. The building is beautiful, the staff is very helpful and very nice. We were treated like royalty. Our suite was the perfect location because we got married at city hall, then had dinner in little Italy. Central to everything. We cannot thank the staff enough for their warm hospitality and helping to make our day extra special.

Staff and the hotel itself was amazing. The staff was so attentive and nice. My only concern was my last day there at the hotel, there was a protest all day that took away from the hotel's atmosphere. However, the staff stepped in and escorted us in and out of the hotel . They were amazing

Absolutely the best hotel I've stayed at in San Francisco. Stayed here for Pride weekend and extended my stay an extra night because it was such a great place. The *BEST* service from every single staff member, great little extras in the lobby and rooms. Very good location, central to lots of downtown activities and landmarks. Good options in walking distance for nearby restaurants.

A Hotel with a Name. Fancy and the staff very polite and helpful. Front desk personnel knowledgeable about the city. Really enjoyed the stay except for the parking ridiculously expensive but then again DT San Francisco. Valet awesome as well.

Terrible experience. The location was okay—not many food options nearby; no room service aside from breakfast and only during limited hours. The reason I am giving them one star however is because they front desk charged me a $400 smoking fee—but they refused to show me evidence or proof supporting the charge. In addition, they refused to walk through the room with me to justify the $400 smoking fee. Terrible customer service—they were rude and unhelpful and essentially told me to contact my credit card company rather than do anything including showing me the evidence to support the charge. DO NOT STAY HERE—unless you have no other choice I would recommend you check elsewhere and strongly consider booking at another hotel.

I prefer more modern hotels & decor but Omni was great! The staff was courteous, welcoming and helpful. The rooms were nice and clean. My request for a refrigerator and crib were all set up. Great location downtown near the Ferry Bldg. Lots of restaurants and bars near by. It can feel a little empty at times since it’s the FiDi (financial district) but that’s okay because it’s nice and quiet.

Historic hotel near financial district with excellent staff and a nearby Starbucks. Water pressure (on 11) is the best I have every felt. Towels are soft. Room is standard.

Had a wonderful 4 night stay recently on a girls trip to San Francisco here that was fantastic from start to finish! The Omni delivered from arrival to departure with their beautiful hotel, wonderful and friendly staff, lovely rooms and prime location. Location is convenient/central to everything, and whatever you can't walk, you can grab a Cable Car to as the stop is right across the street. I absolutely loved the Nest products in the room, along with the robes/slippers. The beds/linens/pillows were dreamy as well delivering a fabulous night sleep. I ended up my third night on the floor of a big wedding party apparently who was going in/out of rooms all night non-stop with doors slamming (you can hear activity in the hallway, but not in the rooms themselves) which was disruptive and annoying to say the least but the staff moved me the next morning to a quiet corner suite on the 5th floor. The quick and friendly fix, despite my tired disposition after no sleep went a long way. We hit the bar/restaurant several nights for drinks/food and the service was great and food pretty tasty as far as hotel food goes. Daryl the Doorman, is a wealth of tips for where to eat and what to see if you have never been to SF prior. SUPER safe, and I am telling you right now -- they hype you read about this beautiful city being rundown is absolutely wrong. We walked everywhere and never once felt unsafe and any homeless folks we ran into were fine and no more so than any other big city I have been in the last couple decades. Being from Southern California and having visited SF many times prior but then moving out of state, when I return... I would make this hotel my go to, hands down based on an overall outstanding stay.

Excellent staff, very kind all round. The hotel has its charms, and exudes the style that some look for but that might have been lost decades ago in the sterile modern world. Location of the hotel is nothing but perfect for a visit in SF - almost all sights worth the visit are (almost) walking distance.

This place is great! We had a beautiful room overlooking the financial district. Easy walk to Chinatown. Trolley car right outside the front doors so you can experience that. We only spent a weekend so didn’t spend a whole lot of time in the room or hotel itself. We didn’t use amenities. There’s no pool (just for peoples knowledge) The absolute best part was the staff! They were so friendly and engaging. Rico in particular went beyond to make sure we had a great stay! Definitely would recommend!

Top notch service! The room was nice and very clean. The entire staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. They were right there for every request we had during our stay and also helped us find a great place for dinner nearby. Beautiful lobby. Complimentary bottled water was a plus as well. They really take care of you well at the Omni. Can't wait to stay again!

Very clean rooms and comfortable beds . Warm robes are provided. Convenient location. Great service. Free apples daily in the lobby for a snack. Enjoyed the fringe benefits of their loyalty program. Would definitely return.

This hotel was amazing. From the service to the rooms, everything was exceedingly excellent. The breakfast was magnificent and the waiters were very nice and professional. This is easily the best hotel i’ve ever stayed at. With convenient location, you can walk to china town, and the pier. With lots of locations to choose from for food within walking distance as well. Thank you for the amazing stay, and if i ever find myself in San Francisco again, I will stay here again without second thought.

Omni hotel gives the essence of old school San Francisco. The lobby is beautiful, and well worth hanging out there. The rooms are really nice, not claustrophobic, and inviting to spend some time. It is in the financial district, so don’t go out looking for a coffee place on Saturday morning. We didn’t use the restaurant in the hotel, but we were told it was good. Summary: very comfortable place, great location, well worth it.

I had a really pleasant stay and enjoyed the property. Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable, making check-in and out fast and easy. The property itself is a bit dated but the shower was good, heating worked well, and the bed was comfortable (if not a bit too warm) so checks off all the boxes.
