I was out here at 3am and it was peaceful! Definitely have to add this on my list of most favorite views in the SF Bay Area!

The best secret spot in the city. And the city gardener there is awsome!

A petite park on top of Russian Hill. A nice place to sit and enjoy the beautiful views that it offers in each direction. Looks just as pretty during the night as it does in the day. Parking is also not too tough to find.

My newest park find! I can't decide if I like day view or night view better. Both are beautiful. Located in Russian Hill between Taylor and Vallejo Street, it's a small park with big sweeping views of the picturesque city of San Francisco 💚 There are benches and stairs. It's an uphill climb but worth every step and definitely a hidden gem. A lot of plants and wildlife to observe. Great for a picnic or break away from the city busyness. Leave no trace and take trash with you always ✌🏼

One of the best spots to see SF’s beautiful skyline. It is also a good workout from north beach climbing all the way up here. Carrying a Golden Boy’s Pizza, rewarded with the million dollar view after a good hike, what else can be better than this?

Stumbled upon Ina Coolbrith Park in San Francisco and wow, what a spot! It’s this cool little hidden place with some of the best views of the city. The park’s got these awesome gardens and is super peaceful – a real break from city life. Great for watching sunsets or just chilling out. A bunch of my friends have said it’s a must-visit for the views alone, and they’re not wrong. You can even catch a glimpse of Alcatraz from here. It’s not a big park, but it’s got a lot of character. Just a heads up, the walk up can be a bit of a trek, and you might have to park a few blocks away, but trust me, it’s totally worth it. Such a great find in the middle of SF.

Ina Coolbrith Park in San Francisco is a hidden gem nestled atop Telegraph Hill. With its tranquil atmosphere and panoramic views of the city and bay, it's the perfect spot to escape the urban hustle and immerse yourself in nature's serenity.

Best skyline view I've found, a nice walk, just a bit steep- you have to work for this view. There are 3-4 levels of park separated by stairs, but it's a very nice place to sit and read or take in the view.

Best way to tour Russian Hill is to walk down Vallejo street from Jones street all the way to Mason street and take in the scene from every step. The vistas change every single day. It also helps to have an apartment that provides these views; This park and Russian hill is the best kept secret in SF.

One of my highlights during my stay in San francisco. It’s a beautiful park and wow the view that it has to offer. At the top of the park, you can see very well the Alcatraz island. But be aware, there is many steps to climb before you get to the park!

A perfect place to watch birds and the SF skyline. You’ll find groups of birds in the trees, often times accompanied by bird watchers with their binoculars. Sitting in middle bench of the lower deck, you can experience the SF skyline changing throughout the day, if you are there early morning you can see the fog over the city and how it clears up during the mid morning. From the north corner of the upper deck you can see Alcatraz and the bay. Good place to sit and read a book if you don’t mind the tourists coming by to take photos with the island. After relaxing at Coolbrith, consider taking the steps to Jones street, you’ll see some fancy SF homes connecting to a small bridge at the end of the block.

Park with good views of San Francisco. This little oasis is perfect for reading (if it’s not too windy) bring a book up here, hear birds chirping, grass swaying and if you are here in spring, the wildflowers are beautiful.

One of my favorite nooks in SF. Came here just before evening descended with a little bit of light left in the sky. The view is so inspiring- especially in these pandemic times!

Living literally two blocks away from this place my whole life, I've always taken it for granted until I moved away for college. Golden Gate Park is pretty huge and it's great for walks or jogging. There are so many paths and this place never gets old! It's great for jogging because of the constant change of scenery, one moment you're running around a lake and within a few minutes later you're running along the bison paddock!

This is one of the best views I think of downtown. We lived in Nob Hill and we would walk to this park almost every morning to do a light work out and see the sun rise it was an amazing experience. If you are a photographer you will love coming here to take some amazing photos. I recommend you get hear before sunrise so you can catch so great shots. For the non photographers any time is a great time to come to this park it’s truly amazing.

Probably one of the COOLEST spots to an over view of SF city and Alcatraz. Best way to get there is to walk from Pier 39 ( that’s only if you don’t mind walking or hills). Went there in the afternoon, nice neighbourhood, fancy houses around, beautiful scenery, just a great place for a cute walk with the one you love! Or even for meditation! You SHOULD pass by it if you’re going to see Lombard st.

OOOOOOOO. I loved it. The walk up to it was painful. 🙈 but I could sit there all day. The walk down was equally easy opening out towards Chinatown.

One of the most beautiful views of downtown buildings and the bay bridge, nested in a quiet and comforting neighborhood. Peaceful place to enjoy some nature. It takes quite a bit of climbing to get up there from north beach but the view is extremely worth it.

This place has the most fabulous view to the downtown, there are benches starting from the highest level and you can sometimes observe the COLIBRI birds flying and gathering nectars from the flowers in the park

One of the best kept secrets on San Francisco is Ina Coolbrith Park. Small with just a few benches ICP has no bad views and are your reward after the steep incline trot up the hill, so leave you heels at home.

One of the best views in all of San Francisco. At any time of day. It's tranquil having such a great view to reflect alone or take a date or your pet to. The panoramic view sweeping from our set of skyscrapers, the bay Bridge, the water and Coit tower is just a core memory that will live in my kind forever. If you're a tourist, this is a must visit to get that beautiful postcard photo to share with your friends to get them to want to come here. Please be kind and clean up after yourself. The walk-up from Taylor St. & North Beach can be challenging for the unfit and those with weaker lower bodies, so be mindful and take your time if going with individuals who fit this physical profile. It is so worth it.

Great views of Alcatraz, Bay Bridge and city skyline on a clear day. The hill up from Taylor is a bit intimidating so I recommend parking on the Vallejo side.

Very nice start to our day of walking, really cool view of the prison, city and bridge. there's a lot of gnarly hills going down hill so if you're thinking of going this way to get to fisherman's wharf, be warned, it's rough.

What an amazing view! Great history of Russian Hill. Bonus: parrot party, and the park is also across the street from the house in season 2 of The O.A.! Read Gary Kamiya's book Spirit of San Francisco for lots of fun facts and gorgeous drawings of the park and view.

I surprised at what a walk can show you. I mean I just found out I've lived next to a mall for the past year. Pretty hidden treasure right. Especially during the holidays. Well that being said I took a walk up hill and down. And about here I was tired. This park gave outstanding views and nice seating for couples. That's a hint. I also appreciated that space as id missed a belt loop and was going crazy trying to figure out a space to privately fix it. So the park has heaven in it for sure.

View North Beach from above. Ina Coolbirth was an early pioneer in California during the 1850s. A marker designated for the graves of Russian sailors from the 1840s is above the park. This is how Russian Hill got its name.
