I am a docent for Chinatown tours at the CCC. We have an interesting take on Chinatown that not only looks at history, culture, and today's environment, but also explores the social justice issues the Chinese have worked on, including 2 critical wins at the US Supreme Court in the late 1800s.

This small gallery is located on the second floor of a hotel. It has a small gift shops with reasonably priced items. The gift shop does take credit cards. The gallery itself is small, just 2 rooms. The day we went, there was some very beautiful art work. They ask for a small donation for visiting the gallery, optional, but it does help them keep the doors open.

Not your typical Chinatown tour, so informative and honest, as an educator teaching World History this was so cool. It was great to see Chinatown, and really hear what it was like live here. I can't recommend this enough!

Saw Cathy Lu's fun inventive ceramics installations in the CCC's ample space hidden on the 3rd floor of the Hilton Financial District hotel.

Our tour today was great with guide Julia! She is very knowledgeable about the history of Chinese-Americans in San Francisco, particularly regarding social justice. The tea tasting, herbal store, temple visit, and fortune cookie factory were a nice addition as well. I highly recommend this tour!

Spent some times here and was able to view tge exhibited photoa, artworks and installations. I learned more than just Chinese in San Francisco, but other communities all over the world. The exhibition was well curated.

Small but beautiful art exposition in the Hilton, 2nd floor! The gift shop features are available for sale, created by local artists.

Small exhibition on immigrants. I really appreciate their efforts to give voice to voiceless immigrant women. Their lives, their struggles and their families matter.

They have an amazing exhibit currently running that is a collaboration between Latina and Asian female artist!
