China Beach is really nice secluded beach that not many people come to. There was a lot of construction going on so beware of that. Parking is limited but free so come early if you want to park near. There are porta potties at the top of the hill for the construction workers but other than that there are no bathrooms near this beach. Steep stair case to climb to get down to the beach so be careful going up and down it, fun fact if you go up it three times it's the equivalent of a redwood tree according to my fitbit. No life guard so be careful around the rip current.

Hiked from Sutro Baths to Land's End to Coastal to GG Bridge. Absolutely a must do hike for some of the best views. Trail, Seacliff neighborhood, Baker Beach and thereafter to the Bridge is picturesque. There are many, many stairs to be climbed though...especially between Baker Beach and the GG.

Another cool place within walking distance of where my daughter lives. But a new place that I got to show her thanks to google maps! She walks her Great Dane all over here but this was one road she hadn’t gone down far enough on. I plan to go later and take my younger daughter and actually walk down the ni e ramp to the beach and watch the sunset.

My MIL has a bada** house in the avenues 4 blocks from this beach. I love walking down here with the wife and friends to come hang on the beach and hide from the national park ranger when he kicks everyone out at closing time.

Awesome spot with views of the Golden Gate bridge and the open ocean. Cool looking trees. Nice nature walks and photo ops.

Currently under construction, but you can still get down to the beach Normally, Seacliff is a cliff face above China Beach with a nice view of the Golden Gate bridge. I’m excited to see what facilities they build here!

Nice small beach with panoramic views over the Golden Gate Bridge. However, currently under construction so check out when it's going to be completed and visit them. Currently aess although the views are still great. If you've got limited time, skip it and head directly to the Lands End Trail.

China Beach--small free parking lot. Roadway walk or steps down to the small beach. No working restrooms however port-a-pots are available. Sand is very clean and beautiful. Small cave at one end when tide is out. BbQ and a couple of picnic tables up off the beach ( by not used clubhouse/non working toilets)

One of the few safe swimming spots in SF. Usually pretty quiet.

Beautiful place but the signs said no dogs so we couldn't really go down and enjoy it. Bernie (our Shihtzu) was sad and really wanted to run down!
