We stopped here in the evening on our last day. I wish we would have stopped here earlier. It's a very neat spot. Lots of playground/green spaces to relax in. Bike rentals around and the cleanest public washroom I have ever seen. Pro-tip, the muni bus has stops throughout so it's easy to visit.

Didnโ€™t get to wonder too far from the parking due to the ridiculous amount of people who have nothing better to do than break into peoples cars because they are too lazy to work for their own stuff and had to babysit my vehicle as Iโ€™m from out of state and was warned about that more than informed about the actual view. Saw this abandoned building right by the lot because thatโ€™s as far away I was willing to get

Such a beautiful park! Seeing the Wood Line was cool in addition to the old army barracks and housing. I highly recommend taking the Lyon St steps from the main part of the presidio to the Palace of Fine Arts. There are incredible views of the Bay.

This is such an amazing area. The park is massive and has so much scenery and history to explore. We stayed in the park at the lodge and spent a good part of our time there just exploring the park. Great views from several different places in the park!

Fantastic place to visit. One of the best views in North America. Worth walking across the bridge if you can. You can only walk down one side of the bridge so use the under the bridge subway to get across.

Great Stay! The area is Beautiful. The staff is by far above average. The view from our room was picture perfect. Breakfast was delicious and included. Would definitely stay there again if we get back to the San Francisco area.

Wow, what an incredible gem to find on my first trip here! I was visiting to look at neighborhoods and, in walking east to west (truly, from SOMA to Outer Sunset - my feet/legs were so sore), somehow stumbled upon this park. It was a gorgeous day and I had the time, so I spent some time hiking through to go up to the Golden Gate overlook spot, and then back down. Highly recommend visiting to get away from the city. There were several families in the children's park that sits right below (toward Richmond), and it seemed like a very family-friendly and low-key place to spend a Saturday.

Went for a long walk in Presidio and the sights were just amazing. From mystical fog-coated woodland areas, to the winding downhill staircases, to the clouds parting to reveal the Golden Gate Bridge standing proud in the sun, it was one of the most memorable aspects of my trip to SF.

My favorite running locale in SF. Lots of trails, great views, incredible hills and beaches and wooded terrains to run on. Try the grueling Sand Ladders climb by Baker Beach or a nice casual run along the water on Crissy Field. If you get tired, there is a Starbucks by the ILM studio where you can visit Yoda. A nice stroll takes you to the Disney Museum.

one of the most amazing sights I've been to in SAN Francisco. it has a privileged view of the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz island. it is a beautiful place, full of incredible restaurants, many convenience stores, it has sea lions, many beautiful people, an incredible energy, polite people, I lived unforgettable moments with my friends at Pier 39 with my friends there and I intend to return many times. Everyone who goes to SAN Francisco has to like Pier 39 because it is a magical and remarkable experience in the life of any tourist. I highly recommend 10/10

Tunnel Tops Park just opened today (7/17/22) - for kids of all ages. Great for walking, picnics, sparking curiosity about the environment & history of the indigenous Ohlone & our fragile ecosystem.

Always beautiful, weather is usually temperamental so bring a jacket!! Itโ€™s even better after all the remodeling. Now you can easily get a 360 degree view of the city, bridge, and ocean. One of my top favorite spots in San Francisco, I donโ€™t think Iโ€™ll ever get sick of it. Highly recommend.

Seems most every major city has their signature park, like Central Park in New York. This is San Francisco's signature park and therefore a must-visit destination for anyone looking to experience the city's natural beauty. The park is located at the northern tip of the San Francisco Peninsula and covers over 1,500 acres of land. We enjoyed its extensive network of hiking and biking trails, 24 miles of them in all. There are tons of picnic areas and a golf course. It used to be an Army base I think do there are a lot of historic buildings and places that provide stunning views of the Golden Gate Bridge and the San Francisco Bay. Best place to eat is the Presidio Officers' Club and don't forget to visit the Walt Disney Family Museum also located at the East edge of the park.

It's tough to decide if the Presidio or Golden Gate Park is the better park in San Francisco but I would recommend a visit regardless. It's got lots of different museums, open spaces, hikes, and views of the bridge.

Great place to walk around, hang out and get amazing views. ๐Ÿ‘ Golden Gate looks absolutely amazing from here and it is nice to be able to visit things like the Walt Disney museum nearby. Tons to eat too such as food trucks and restaurants in the area.

The iconic greenery area connecting the city to the Golden Gate Bridge. The Presidio is one of the oldest parts of the city, founded in 1776. There are a ton of gems to be found the Presidio including a Yoda statute and a pet cemetery. Definitely explore the area if you have the time

The Persidio is a wonderful place to visit. It has the oldest building in San Francisco, a Disney museum, military cemetery, and some of the best views of the bay. It is a fun place to walk around since you can find old military cannons still around the Persidio and Lucas Film has three buildings there.

If you're looking for the best spot to watch the fleet week and hang out for the views of the golden gate bridge, look no further than presedeo Park. This park is clean and spacious, with plenty of benches for picnic lovers. You can also find decent bathrooms nearby, so you don't have to worry about that. And the best part is the amazing view for pictures. You can capture the stunning sight of the bridge, the bay, and the planes flying overhead. Don't miss this opportunity to enjoy a fun and relaxing day at Park.

There is a lot to see and do in the Presidio! Visit the Visitor Center to better understand the natural and cultural and military history of the area. There re maps throughout the park to help to find where you're going. If you're visiting from out of town, it can be confusing. The roads are winding. If you rent a bicycle, please wear a helmet and please don't dump it where it can be difficult for mobility users or families with young children to get around it.

So beautiful and well kept all the roads are brand new and there are lots of places to see the bridge and the whole bay. Lots of green spaces and fun places to hang out. There are buses to take you around the presidio and lots of hiking paths. Overall a great spot
