👍👍 Fantastic neighborhood park! It could be better maintained but it's still such a privilege to have this small urban forest close at hand. People often mention park, city, great, trails,

Pleasant spot for kids. Short hike to the water tower for a great view of the city

Our husky loves Mclaren Park. It has great off leash area plus small lake where dogs can swim. Our "sea wolf" cools down in the lake every time after crazy run in the off leash area.

McLaren is an underrated park in San Francisco. Golden Gate Park gets much more attention, but McLaren is worth a visit. There are many hiking trails, a pickle ball court, a dog pond, and a new playground with grills and picnic tables.

One of the best places to walk dogs in the city. Dogs are allowed off leash. Also a good place for birding.

One of San Francisco's largest yet most-overlooked parks, there are spectacular vistas from the top. You can get here via public transport or private car, and will be rewarded with open vistas of the Bay and beyond. Unlike Golden Gate Park you might even have vast areas of the park entirely to yourself! Great for dog walking too. Secret tip: park in the lot at Bowdoin for these great views.

Beautiful views. Jerry Garcia amphitheater. Nice trails. Duck pond. Dog walking and off leash. Coyotes. Lots of Coyotes and smaller wildlife (mostly nocturnal but with climate change, you could run into anything at any time. Wild nature in the city!

Beautiful park with trails going through scenic and peaceful areas. Tennis courts, soccer fields, baseball fields, and many more make this park such an awesome park.

Very popular with dog walkers (both professional and us amateurs), but also a nice place for a hike, picnic, bike ride, tennis or a run. Great alternative to golden gate park when you don't want to deal with the crowds and parking.

This is a great park. I love the different trails. You can actually get away from people and enjoy quiet time sitting down and enjoy the different views. They have bbq pits, picnic tables and some areas have restroom facilities.

Went to a free concert at the Jerry Garcia Amphitheater featuring Sheila E. Fantastic outdoor venue, free parking and clean restrooms.

I've barely scratched the surface of appreciating the sacred beauty and vast diversity of this fantastic outdoor experience.

Nice place, mostly cleaned, no encampments, enchanting forest, well maintained restrooms, great place to come in a not so windy day 👍

Stunning view. I always like to go out and find an adventure or go somewhere new and this was it. I've got to say when I parked my car over looking the city lights it took my breath away.

This is the best park in the city to take dogs for adventures. Big, super varied terrain, forest, open fields, a small lake for dogs to swim in.

Very nice park. Could use a little TLC from the city, but still a nice experience. Grabbed a sandwich from a local deli (Calabria Brothers YUM) and ate there with friends

Awesome place to go hiking, commute with nature, see picturesque scenery, and have a great time without leaving the City. I love it!

Great park with designated off leash dog areas - so my dog can sniff and explore in peace! My dog also loves the pond in the summer. She has the best time!
