If you want a great breakfast for a reasonable price (reasonable for San Fran) this is the place. Just a couple blocks up from Fisherman’s Wharf you can’t miss the bright yellow front. Small, but clean and cozy. I must say the coffee was absolutely delicious! Not sure of the brand or how they made it, but it was great! I had the Belgian Waffle with fruit piled on top just like the review pictures and it was a great choice!! Warm & friendly staff did a great job, although like most places these days, they seemed to be stretched. I will definitely go back!

Colourful and friendly environment, tasty food and good service 😁 we had pancakes with extra fruits, so delicious and plentiful. The location is cool and the service is fast and reliable. Perfect for a great breakfast close to the Piers.

Went here for breakfast based on recommendation of a Cable Car operator. First thing they offer you is a freshly brewed coffee. It sets an amazing tone for the day. They have a simple menu. I opted for french toast. It was amazing. They will keep pouring the coffee. They have free wifi as well. Overall pretty amazing place. Typical American diner. Its bang on cable car route.

First time here. I really enjoyed the food, the service was AMAZING (the lady from Belarus is a keeper), but it the place kinda smelled like cat pee; like a wet sour smell.

We are visiting the city, we came yesterday for breakfast. It is one of favorite meal of the day. My husband suggested to come back to PAT’S Cafe for another delicious breakfast. Their cooks, servers and chef are an amazing team.

Food was good. In the middle of our conversation in a group of 4 (all have a dish and coffee each) they asked if we want the bill? It was 8+am and the cafe is not even 1/4 filled. It’s like asking us to leave. Disappointed

First off, far and away the home fries were killer. I will definitely go back for more before I head back home. Being from the Midwest, I definitely ordered more food than I think most healthier people might, so my bill was more. Prices were fair for the food/location. Friendly staff, quick to serve, and food came fast too. Food was good, but again, I reiterate that the home fries are a must—well done, of course. Perfectly seasoned.
