Cozy place to enjoy with friends, the patio looks really welcoming with the paintings. I love their happy hour with $5 drinks, until 5pm. Overall staff is really nice but sometimes they seem overwhelmed.

Love the outdoor patio area with heat lamps and solid drinks! We got the “Peas for Bees” and “Lunasa Old Fashioned”. The first sip of the Peas for Bees was incredible but it tasted a lot sweeter (and less good) as we got to the bottom of the drink. Probably wouldn’t get the Lunasa old fashioned again. The music inside is pretty loud but the outdoor patio area was a really nice vibe and not crowded at all. Would definitely come back here to try other drinks in the future.

We had a great evening at Casement Bar, the entrance is a little discreet and dark but the terrace at the back is where the action is. Great live music the night we were there and awesome cocktails served by the lovely Jean who really looked after us all and made sure we were suitably refreshed. Good Margaritas and excellent guiness. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good night out with friends in a good setting.

Update: WHAT HAPPENED, CASEMENTS?? As you see below, this was one of my favorite cocktail bars, and the last several times we’ve been in, it’s been very sub-par. Slow and rude service. Cocktails are mediocre… even the ones we used to love! The worst part is the back patio smells like a men’s room now. It’s genuinely gross sitting back there. We stop in for at least a couple drinks every time we’re in Mission but that’s not going to happen anymore. We’ll still stop by to see if things have changed back… but damn it y’all! What happened?? xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx This might just be my favorite cocktail bar in the Bay Area. The aesthetic is incredible! The brick walls, the wild wallpaper opposite the bar, and the amazing outdoor seating area are very thoughtfully designed and very well executed. The important stuff: The cocktails here are incredibly well made. The attention to detail shines through in the flavors and aromas that hit your palate. The Irish whiskey selection is massive. Being a lover of excellent Irish whiskeys, I was immediately hooked and hopelessly in love the moment I saw the inventory. Like the cocktails, the food is fantastic! The flavors just pop, and the ceviche is the best restaurant ceviche I’ve ever had. (Can’t compare to homemade, but it’s damn close!) My only regret is that we don’t live closer!!

Incredible place, incredible staff. The bartenders are super knowledgeable and very friendly. The cocktails are amazing (some of them were even invented by people who work there!) and they always have great beers on tap, including the classic Guinness. The back patio is also a great vibe; the local art and decor offers a contrast from the fancier interior, and there are always cool events and performances by local artists. Some of the food can be pricey but the menu is quite good as far as standard bar food goes, and I've never regretted getting their fish n chips (the curry sauce is amazing). I really can't say enough good things about this place. If you're on the fence, come check it out.

Great back patio - service was super attentive and I liked every drink I tried, they were well balanced and interesting ( nice that they have a number of hot alcoholic beverages for foggy SF nights)! Only are the spicy fries with onions, peppers and curry sauce which were great! All the food on neighboring tables smelled and looked yummy!

Nice bar! I live in the area and I walked by this place so many times we finally stopped to have some drinks. I regret not coming here before. Their beer garden is nice and surrounded by very nice murals. I love that they have these sketch/journal books going, everyone who visits can add to them. Went on a Saturday afternoon. Very chill and nice out. As we were living a live band or dj was setting up. I want to come back at night as well to experience it. The sketchbooks recommend seating at the bar, the bartenders are cool. Next time I will be doing that. Drinks They are refreshing. We tried a few and my favorite was the one with passion fruit and chamomile. The old fashion is also a good one. They use different bitters (I assume ) than the usual ones I’ve had, but it’s good. I also like how their ice comes with little herbs/flowers. So cute. Staff Very nice and chill. The bartender is cool! Food We only had steak fries but they are yummy! They come with a side of Japanese curry!

Was visiting from Denver, CO and found this place when walking around the Mission neighborhood. It's dope. They had a live band playing century old tunes in the back patio, it was amazing. The guy on the Clarinet was brilliant! The vibes in the back are exactly what I was hoping to find in the Mission. Drinks are awesome, staff is friendly, it was a good time overall. They even comped us a round of drinks after messing up the first round! Next time I'm back in SF, definitely going to go back.

Amazing atmosphere indoor and outdoor! Love the graffiti out back. Gives it a cool vibe. Hopefully they’ll be able to work something out with whoever owns the parking lot. The indoor bar has a cool aesthetic with private booths and tables in a larger open air space in front (livelier convo). Love the raw-ish metal Sputnik light fixtures above the bar. Waitstaff is knowledgeable, and owners/managers great as well. Must try for SF residents and visitors! ***For St. Patrick’s Day: go early, put your name down, and head down the street to another locale until there is a table open. There will surely be a long list!

Stopped here after a long flight and just arrived in the city. The old fashioned was exactly what I needed and fantastically mixed. The rest of the menu is extremely creative but they do the classics really well here. Highly recommended!

We went there for cocktails and bar food with a large group from work. There was live music, and we sat on the back outdoor patio. Good vibes — the patio is tucked off of the street. Nice for groups although the picnic tables only seat 6-8 each. Good service and decent bar food; I recommend the beef stew. I had the French 75 and the Last Word

Gorgeous Bar/Restaurant. We at first tried to sit in the front because it was sunny, not realizing there is a back patio. The bartender suggested the patio to us and low and behold, live music! The fish and chips were delicious and they have a good selection of Mezcal. I was not a fan of the Peas and Bees drink, it was way too sweet for me. The environment is creative and comfortable and the service was fantastic.

Loved the food (try the mussels) the cocktails, the service, the music and the decor. What a gem. So happy to gave found it after 4 years of living in the city.

Casements has a great atmosphere both indoors and outdoor on the patio. There's plenty of seating and heaters, too. They have lots of delicious cocktails to choose from along with an extensive liquor menu. We tried their Irish coffee "Paying our Dews" and it was excellent.
