Notably, the venue was exceptionally clean, and its cute ambiance added to the overall appeal. I had the pleasure of stopping by on a Sunday evening during Pride weekend. It served as the perfect starting point before heading to ACT Theater a couple of blocks away to catch the show, "Wizard of Oz." Let me tell you, Stookey's Club Moderne surpassed the theater's drink offerings by a long shot! I made a special request to the bartender for a drink featuring absinthe and egg whites, and he delivered with a delicious off-menu creation that left me wanting more. It was truly a delightful and satisfying experience. The cocktail menu at Stookey's Club Moderne is extensive, offering an array of tempting options. Choosing just one proved to be a challenge as I found myself intrigued by multiple choices. I'm already looking forward to a return visit to sample more of their intriguing concoctions. In addition to the impressive drinks, I was pleased to find that the cleanliness extended to the bathrooms as well. It's always a relief to encounter well-maintained facilities while out and about. To sum it up, Stookey's Club Moderne is a hidden gem tucked away in San Francisco. With its charming retro atmosphere, impeccable cleanliness, and an enticing selection of cocktails, it's a place worth discovering. Step back in time to this brilliant retro themed bar! So very many different fun drink options available. We ordered plenty and none were bad at all. Honestly the prices weren’t bad and the service was good too. I travel here often for work and will be making this a regular stop for sure.

Only one server was working tonight, but she was a real soldier. Despite the place being half full, she accomplished her job with ease. Love the art deco decor and 1950s vibe. A Drinks were immaculate. Definitely will return.

We use to come to this place when we lived here. We were glad to know that they survived the pandemic. Stookey's is a nostalgic place, belongs to a city that is long gone, but still there Taylor & Bush, offering perfectly crafted cocktails, the art deco interiors, the old movies projecting on the wall..it transport to a time where things were simpler, less confusing. The best cocktails in SF! And such a fun and cute environment. My partner lives in the area and we come here often. I have a few of my favorite cocktails and I am usually tempted to try something off their expansive menu, everything is delicious and beautifully prepared and presented. Service is wonderful. My favorite place for a night cap!

very good cocktail place !! we recommend it a lot ! We like the cocktails menu, which is split per type of drinks. Atmosphere is great, in the 90's-diner-style, with this B&W movie on. We loved the cocktails Go for it !

Such a cool spot! We almost walked by but looked in the window and decided to pop in. We’re so glad we did and that this is where we spent NYE. Don’t miss this spot! Great drinks, great bartenders. We loved the history and reading the descriptions of the drinks.

Beautiful retro/art deco design and they were playing the black and white metropolis film! Fantastic cocktail selection, very quaint and small. No food.
