We
booked
a
reservation
here
for
twenty
people
around
a
week
or
so
in
advance.
We
found
the
variety
of
food
options,
coupled
with
the
plant-based
menu
to
be
quite
attractive.
The
reservation
was
a
semi-private
area
and
was
considered
an
'event'.
With
that
in
mind,
note
that
we
had
to
spend
at
least
$1000
in
total
(including
the
6%
surcharge).
WIth
that,
there
is
also
a
standard
20%
large
party
gratuity
automatically
added
on.
The
inside
includes
two
floors
-
our
semi-private
area
was
on
the
first
floor,
which
included
the
bar.
The
area
looked
nice,
and
our
seating
was
a
combination
of
two
long
tables,
which
comfortably
accommodated
for
our
twenty-person
reservation.
Since
we
had
a
large
group,
we
were
able
to
try
many
of
the
starters,
pizzas,
and
pastas/mains.
For
starters,
we
had
the
mozzarella
sticks,
meatballs,
broccoli
rabe,
nduja,
artichoke,
and
pane
di
baia,
of
which
the
meatballs
and
nduja
were
particularly
exceptional.
For
pizzas,
we
had
the
margherita,
funghi,
and
pesto.
The
pesto
pizza
was
our
favorite
by
far,
highly
recommend
it!
For
pastas/mains,
we
had
the
pappardelle
pasta
with
rigatoni
sauce
(nduja,
white
wine,
kale,
garlic,
shallots,
parsley),
spaghetti,
ravioli,
radiatore,
and
risotto.
We
found
the
ravioli
sauce
to
be
a
little
on
the
sweet
side,
but
I
personally
enjoyed
it.
The
spaghetti
was
quite
spicy
as
well.
The
radiatore
was
a
group
favorite.
The
risotto
had
a
comforting
taste,
and
was
especially
delicious
when
mixed
with
the
ravioli
sauce.
Finally,
there
were
mixed
thoughts
on
the
pappardelle
with
rigatoni
sauce.
Initially,
we
were
served
a
pasta
that
was
quite
bland
on
the
sauce,
which
had
to
be
taken
back.
On
the
second
time,
the
flavor
was
more
or
less
the
same,
but
there
was
just
more
sauce,
which
was
alright.
Note
that
we
had
to
ask
other
servers
multiple
times
for
our
own
server
to
come
over
to
our
table
for
this
issue,
which
took
quite
a
while.
The
reservation
we
had
was
to
celebrate
two
birthdays
in
our
group.
The
birthday
dessert
included
cioccolato
and
panna
cotta,
both
of
which
were
enjoyed
by
the
group.
Price-wise,
we
ended
up
having
to
order
a
couple
items
to
go
in
order
to
cross
the
minimum
threshold.
However,
we
would
like
to
note
that
we
were
charged
for
our
birthday
dessert,
when
being
explicitly
told
that
it
was
on
the
house.
This
came
at
quite
a
surprise
when
re-visiting
the
check
after
leaving
the
restaurant.
We
were
also
charged
twice
for
our
pane
di
baia
due
to
a
delayed
serving
of
the
starter
-
this
was
corrected
later
on,
but
seemed
a
little
careless
from
the
staff.
Additionally,
when
inquiring
about
the
ingredients
on
the
menu
due
to
an
allergy,
we
were
greeted
with
a
sharp
"just
read
the
menu",
even
though
not
all
ingredients
are
listed
in
detail.
Overall,
we
enjoyed
the
food
and
drinks,
but
the
quality
of
service
was
definitely
lacking.
We
hope
that
others
who
come
here
do
not
have
the
same
experience.
