As I do not skate, I cannot rate how good it is for skating. But I LOVE the wall to wall murals. I also know that all is right with the world when I hear the skaters skating in the morning.

No lie one of the coolest spots I have ever done a photoshoot at. Cool crew of talented skaters and awesome graffiti everywhere. This skate park is an artist playground. Now one of my top favorite spots in the city.

Cool place under the bridge. The tents with homeless (seems to be a big problem in SF) just outside the gate, as well as a homeless man inside the park kind of made it a little weird. I'm OK with it, but I would not feel comfortable with my son going alone. It's a pretty big park and it was relatively clean, once inside.

Very cool skatepark with gnarly street. No coping on nearly any part of the park. Perfect for street.

Best skatepark in the city. Well designed. Great graffiti. Watch where you step on the way in.

Great park, lots of stuff to hit in a half enclosed park. Runs under one of the freeways. Has lights so night skating is popular as well.

Still a great park. It's aging well over the years. There are just a few spots showing sign of landing primo but it's not a hindrance. The ledges are great until they get over waxed which isn't too too often.

This park is beautiful. The view is amazing. I feel like I'm in a movie. There are palm trees, and a quintessential smell of weed.

Very fun skatepark with very good obstacles. The flow is also very good and the people are really cool there.

The kids seem to have a lot of fun skating in that park, and it always seem to be packed no matter the weather.

My son loves it here. He is 6. I always worry about being in the way of the more experienced skaters. I think it's safe to say with more experience comes understanding because the unwritten rules of the skate park speak loudly. As long as I'm watching my little one which means we kinda pick an area to stay in and he isnt running all over the place. For me I keep it literal and let my so know he needs to be on his board or out of the way. He gets it. Plus he loves practice. I wish I knew how to skate. I'd be more helpful in teaching him. Sometimes I wish one of the skaters would stop to help him out and work with him a little. Their pretty serious about their skating here. So it's all good and understandable. My son is picking up by watching. One of these days he will hit the ramps too. There's one that goes in a u shape over people on the side of a bridge like set up. There aren't any real high drop its. Not higher than I stand and I'm 5foot 2. I would say the drop ins are maybe 4 feet up at best. A few stair set ups and rails to grind. Pretty chill but under the freeway it's like a quiet loud.

How can words do this place justice? Located in the heart of San Francisco, the greatest skate city in the USA, the only issue is that there is so much fun stuff to skate on the streets that you kinda feel torn between an amazing skatepark and the illustrious streets of Skate paradise. Many locals only go here at night or in the early morning to warm up.
