Shady business. Took 2 identical chains I bought same place same time of my neck for a loan and when get them back one is hollow and weighs half of what the other did ? Then falls apart when I go to wipe it with a cloth? Something real shady going on here and my word against them they got over on me. Best part: they said they buy it off me for $60🤣. It costed me $800 7 years ago.

This pawn shop is great if you buy stuff especially gold. Prices are not that bad always seems to have sales happening. My problem with this place is if you’re selling to them. I went in with a 20 carat Australian crystal Opal in a gold and diamond setting. I payed over 10k because it’s a top notch specimen that I got in my travels in Australia. They tried to offer me 200$ and said they don’t pay for stones. So be careful. Don’t sell here if you have gems only gold and buying here is also fine just don’t go to sell gems

I had many pieces (40+) of expensive estate jewelry to sell. The salesperson was rude and basically told me it would take a significant amount of his time to give a quote and people never actually sell because they are looking for a free valuation. He said it wasn’t worth his time if I wasn’t serious. I should have just left since he was so condescending and rude. They had good reviews so I was astounded by the treatment. It isn’t what you need when dealing with a situation where you’re out of work and parting with sentimental items. I sold, but felt sick about the unnecessary horrible treatment. Go somewhere else or pay for an assessment and sell them on Poshmark or another platform. Nobody deserves this kind of bullying treatment.

Maxferd’s is the absolute best. They have a fantastic selection and the team is super nice, honest and knowledgeable. I’ve gotten a few items myself and I get compliments all the time. They rotate stock quite often, top selection and their prices are very fair and reasonable. Love the bags and the watches. They are located dangerously close to my workplace so I at least window shop every day. Treat yourself! 🤟🤟🤟

This place will rip u off,let's say u a buy a 2,000 ring or necklace whatever, and u try to return it they'll most likely give u back half of the money u bought it for. DON'T EVER COME HERE.

We stopped here in 2015 and I bought my French wife's engagement ring. I dropped to my knee and proposed. Eight years later we stopped in and my wife bought a beautiful 1.3 karat keepsake ring. The staff and owner are great people. We will come back again. The Cowboy and the Countess!
