Very carefree & unprofessional behavior in the emergency room.... told me they had no doctor on duty to provide care for my specific problem. Not even a hint of caring ... no referral, nothing.

Didn't want to take chances gluing a small laceration i had, so decided to go here..and they give me a 4500$ bill for applying glue in a super noisy room. It was my poor judgement to go to you guys and I wish you told me it would cost me so much, i would rather do something else.

I usually love Saint Francis as the staff are usually really nice and helpful. I went in to the ER with a splitting headache along with other Covid symptoms. They gave me Tylenol which brought my fever down but I asked if I could get something for my headache cause Tylenol didn't get rid of it. I laid waiting for hours with that splitting headache so I got up and asked the nurse if I wasn't going to be able to get something for my headache, she was sitting down looking at a computer and claimed she asked the doctor for something yet she didn't check with the doctor again until I had been here so long and brought it to her attention.

I am in San Francisco visiting , my tooth started hurting at a level ten. Unfortunately it is Sunday and all dental offices are closed today. I decided to be seen here, they are super friendly, professional and felt very welcomed. Was in and out from start to finish 30 minutes at most for a minor emergency.

I had to go to the ER for the very first time last night and my experience here was so great. Every nurse and doctor that I interacted with was so kind, caring, and patient (many of them funny too!). The waiting room was clean and calm, and the front desk people were really great as well. There was a wait but nothing too bad. The whole process went smoothly and I was treated exactly how I needed and felt so much better after. So grateful for my local frontline medical workers.

I had a highly disappointing experience here. Despite calling ahead to inquire whether they could address my health concern, I encountered unprofessional behavior from the person answering the phone, who hung up on me twice. Only after speaking with a supervisor nurse on my third call did I receive confirmation that they could treat my issue. However, upon arriving at the hospital, I was met with a lack of empathy and courtesy from the staff, who abruptly directed me to seek care elsewhere. Moreover, while waiting in the exam room, I overheard staff members openly disparaging patients, which was highly inappropriate and concerning

Rude Indian lady dr in the ER. These dr are so stupid, and didn’t even know they had a cancer department. No compassion or empathy. I hate them.

I've been twice for minor emergencies and both times had excellent, prompt care. I only waited aboyt 10 minutes in the waiting room and 15 in the back before seeing the doctor. They went above and beyond making sure I was comfortable, and assuaging my anxieties. I can't say I like coming here, but it's the best ER experience I've had.

I do not understand how this hospital only has 3.4 stars, it is the best hospital I have been in San Francisco, the staff was very kind to me, professionals and always tried to do the best for me, I was there for several days and without a doubt it would be the first hospital that I would think about if I have an emergency again.

Thank you for taking good care of my family member who had severe dehydration with n/v. Your doctor and nurses are over the top.

I've been here twice, once because I had some odd cardio sensations, and the docs were good in checking things out. The second time I went to get 4 little stitches taken out and their scissors were too big which I brought up. Yet they reassured me it would be quick, cheap, and work well. None of that was true, and while my insurance paid most, they charged $1100!! ... for less than 5 minutes of a nurse's time and a slightly gory job. Update: I did call, no one answered and I left my info and no one called back.

This hospital is in poor conditions, their level of cleanliness is frightening. The tip of the IV fell on the floor and the nurse was going to put it in my arm. I asked politely that the IV not be out in arm as it was not hygienic. The amount of waiting is appalling, the nurses are gathered around the station- laughing and chatting it up. I had to go out several times to ask them what was next. Overall terrible experience

Not my favorite way to start a vacation but I ended up in the emergency room at St. Francis Memorial being treated for SVT. The staff was fantastic. Professional, knowledgeable and very attentive. Special thank you to Jeremy, Natasha, Amber and Dr. Lee for taking such good care of me!
