Everything we tried was absolutely delcious. We ended up coming back a second time while on our trip because of how tasty everything was. My favorite was the french toast, and the Leos hash cakes. The french toast was HUGE and so fluffy, with a crispy crust. If your favorite part is the crust, definitely get the french toast sticks instead. The hash cakes were super crispy on the outside and perfectly soft on the inside. The creme was out of this world and so identical to regular creme. The salted caramel latte gets an honorable mention as well, it was the perfect mix of salt and sweet. The environment of the cafe is so homey and warm, with lots of natural light. 100% worth the small trip to North Beach; about a 30 minute bus ride from Union square.

Cannot describe the happiness, satisfaction, and cravings that Beach’N fulfilled. This was the first spot we tried on our West coast vegan tour and we were so pleasantly surprised. From eating at multiple vegan spots on the West coast, Beach’N is definitely number 1. Indoor vibes kinda crowded and the area it was located in seemed sketchy. Staff were the friendliest people ever! We ordered the breakfast burrito and the hash cakes with cashew cream and mushroom/onion, along with a side of french toast sticks. My bf eats a lot of breakfast burritos from various places and he cannot stop raving about this one. The burrito had a tofu scramble, with mushrooms and onions, hashcakes, and avocado inside. The hashcakes were so warm inside which let the flavors instantly melt in my mouth. The side salad was a nice added touch too! The hashcakes with the cashew cream sauce were a different level of satisfying- i want to savor that flavor everyday for the rest of my existence. I do wish they added more because the hashcakes felt dry after and it wasnt spread properly amongst them all. French toast sticks- crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They were not too sweet which i liked. We ended it off with a “crowkie” (cookie brownie), honestly it wasnt THAT good but still didnt taste vegan. This place was so good we considered traveling another hour back each day of our trip! Go to this place now!!

We stopped at Beach'n'SF for a quick lunch while in the area. We ordered the Crunchwrap, the breakfast burrito, and the French toast sticks. Everything was delicious and the customer service was great. Prices are fair. Very positive experience overall. Highly recommended.

I didn’t want this meal to end. Incredibly delicious food in a great casual setting. Everything they made for us was delicious. French toast was very fresh and not too sweet. Hash browns (plain jane) were perfectly crispy on every bite. Bacon was also great - crispy, not overdone, a little salty. I would happily come back and have all of the things again. Thank you Beach’N team!

Vegan eats review: Well worth heading to sunset district. Nice staff. Laid back attitude. Healthy portions. Iced cold brew Chai latte with oat milk (not too spicy. Just right.) Chorizo burrito (wished the chorizo was less ground and more chunky. Still delicious tasting.) It’s got a little spice to it. I’d like the salad side to have a agave orange dressing next time to compliment the chorizo. Breakfast burrito (could use something to wake up the ingredients but still yummy.) cashew sauce needs a splash more nooch. French toast sticks. (Omg these are the bomb dignity! Order them. Crisp on the outside. Soft on the inside. Blended with fresh fruit, butter, and maple syrup. 🤤) Chocolate chip cookie (yummy. Not a soft cookie) Go for a drive, grab a bit here, and then walk the shore to help digest the healthy portions. Adding this lovely spot as a definite return to place for grub.

    * French toast plate - surprisingly delicious, it's hard to find good vegan French toast in my experience. Kinda wish I got the small side though, it was a lot. It would have been nice to have like a fruity jam over it as an alternative to Maple syrup too. * Mushroom onion hash cakes - great Fully vegan place!

What a great find! I was surprised that it was completely plant-based, that prompted me to try brunch on a Saturday morning. Finding street parking was relatively easy (or perhaps it was a good day). It's a small place with indoor and outdoor seating, including bar seating. We ordered their Mushroom and onion hash cakes, and tofu scramble with hash cake. Also got the biscuits and OJ. Service was pretty quick. We got biscuit and OJ in a few minutes, rest dishes also followed pretty quickly. Biscuit came with butter and jam, it was a bit on saltier side but the jam balanced it pretty well. Biscuit wasn't too hard or too crumbly, the texture was perfect and the butter + jam was great. It's rare that freshly squeezed OJ tastes good, so I was pleasantly surprised. They don't add any sugar. Usually I wouldn't order Tofu Scramble but given it's one of the popular items, I did, and I'm glad that I did. The tofu was very flavorful- I could taste turmeric and spices. It came with hash cakes and fruits on the side. (You can get a toast instead of fruits). The hash cakes with mushroom and onion tasted pretty great. The cakes were crisp, bit not too oily. The portion side combined all dishes was good for 2 people. The presentation of the dishes was excellent. I would highly recommend and looking forward to coming back.

Vegan with an omnivore boyfriend and we both love this place! French toast sticks and the hashcakes are our favorites, but everything is worth trying at least once. Sorry, couldn’t wait for the photos before digging in!

The crunchwrap is a dish you must get here! The thin tortilla was toasted nice a d crispy. The filling was cheesy and well seasoned. I don't know what the sauce is but it tasted like a vegan thousand island. The Buffalo Mac was a little too sour for my liking but that is how it is with vegan cheese usually. However, it was made very well and I am willing to get it again. Tastes best when you add a little hot sauce. Wasn't too busy on a Sunday.

Visited today (Sunday) at 1pm. It was pretty busy but there were still a few tables available outside (which is what I was hoping for!). Got the french toast, crunch wrap, and black and tan coffee drink. Staff was friendly (both cashier and server), and drink and food arrived quickly. The fava bean whip on the "black and tan" might be the best vegan whip I've had. Both breakfasts were reasonably priced and filling. Will definitely visit again!

As mentioned by others, the French toast, Crunchwrap, and fava bean whip (served with the black and tan or on the side) were all fantastic. We’ll definitely be back

Great neighborhood find with well-portioned breakfast / brunch / lunch options. Good food for all which happens to be vegan. Good selection of drinks as well (alcoholic and non alcoholic ; they have ceremonial grade matcha which is rare). Has grab and go dessert options (not wheat free), including cinnamon buns. Tends to have weekend specials such as polenta and biscuits and gravy so be sure to ask. Has indoor and outdoor seating.

I absolutely loved this place! Very close to the beach, very cute - felt like an old school diner. Food was amazing, got the biscuits which were perfectly warm with butter and jam. Coffee was great too! The other food looked so delicious too. Loved the music and the overall vibe. Cant wait to go back!

got the Crunchwrap, bfast burrito (comes with a side salad) + fennel sausage, and side of Brussels sprouts — very good portions 👍🏼 and the “nacho cheese” sauce in the Crunchwrap was 🤌🏼 delicious Def bookmarking this place. Perfect brunch/lunch spot right next to ocean beach

Beach n’ SF was a pleasure to eat at! Got the Crunchwrap supreme, walnut and chocolate chip cookie, and a black and tan. All were really good! Whatever coffee they use is strong haha, in case you’re a caffeine light weight like me. Loved all of it! Also, found out the owner also runs Judahlicious which is pretty close by as well. Overall had a great experience!

Very good vegan food! We had the chorizo burrito, french toast sticks and the tofu scramble (scramble came with the hash cakes and they were perfectly crunchy and seasoned amazingly) and they were all super tasty! Easy parking and cool atmosphere inside. I would definitely go back!

I've had their lemon bar, snickerdoodle cookie, black and tan cold brew, and tortilla soup, all of which were delicious. The place has a very relaxed vibe. I was hoping to try their carrot cake on both occasions that I visited but was told their baker had decided not to work those weekends (even though I called several times the week before and was told their carrot cake is always available on weekends). A bummer as I've heard great things about it.

Good portions, had French toast which was thiccc and delicious also very filling, beach n' crunch wrap was good. The buffalo Mac N Cheezen was nice, it has a bit of a stronger sour/spicy flavor due to the buffalo sauce, great if you like buffalo sauce, it was also very filling. The crokie which is a chocolate chip cookie baked on top of a brownie was amazing, got it heated up and it tasted even better, not overly sweet, has a nice crispy layer with a cakey center. The sunset fog tea complemented the crokie well, it was not sweet at all, can definitely taste the rooibos, I got it with oatmilk. The blushing matcha was also nice and light.

Great food, love that there is a vegan only restaurant right by the beach 🏖️ The food is great, and they also have really nice coffee and pastries, all plant based! 🥬❤️ Laid back setting. You order at a counter and clear your own table. Indoor and outdoor seating, when weather permits. It can get crowded on weekends, but worth the wait. They are also closed on a couple weekdays and the late afternoon/evening. Also dog friendly! Overall A plus. I live in the neighborhood and this is definitely in my weekly rotation.
